Came in at dinner time to a fresh smell of amazing food, wow what an experience everything I tried was really tasty and a free first drink too, I like being asked if everything is ok and this goes a long way, yes I’d deffo come back next time I’m down this way 5*

Booked a table for 4 adults and 1 child, walked in and was a nice welcome from Staff, was show to our table where we was asked what we would like to drink as soon as the last member of our table had said which drink they would like the waiter looked up from their tablet and simply said "£100.50 how are you going to pay?" It put everyone on edge and soured the mood before we had even chosen and eaten the below average food on offer. Guess that's why they were so quick to get your money upfront. First and last visit for us

Some of the food is great. Some less so. But there is loads of variety, so you’re bound to find plenty you like. Some food is cooked to order and they’ll make you candyfloss on a stick whenever you want! The staff are brilliant- really attentive and helpful. We went on a Monday in January and although not packed, the atmosphere was great. Will definitely come again.

First time visiting the restaurant today, food was outstanding! We really enjoyed, all food was hot and there was plenty to choose from! Loved that we could order from the grill menu. Staff were very polite and friendly! Deserts were a bonus! We will be returning 🙂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mexican food, no choice at all, and barely any quantities available, small choice of sushi, Japanese food was more like a Chinese. Lemon cheesecake was still half frozen and dry. Poor desert choice. Do not recommend it. It was our first and last time.

Good selection of meat and vegetarian dishes. Highlight for the children in our party was the candy floss machine. Great location next to cinema with its own free parking. Friendly staff happy to explain the different dishes. Card only.

I came here with my daughter yesterday evening 21/11/24 and we were both very impressed with this restaurant. The food was amazing and there was lots of variety. The food was hot and was replaced frequently when empty. There were plenty of staff to serve you and answer any questions. They were all friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely experience and we will definitely be back.

Large party of 16 everyone happy and waited on excellently, food is delicious and a great range of varieties

A casual and comfortable atmosphere. The Indian curry and sweet and sour chicken were particularly delicious. The Japanese-style curry rice was also nice, and although the sushi was a bit sweet, it was still good. The place felt clean and well-maintained, and they cleared the table promptly when there were about 4-5 empty plates. It was a satisfying family meal.

Absolute joke food was bland with no taste, cakes were still frozen when confronted the staff smirked at my partner and said nothing just walked away would never recommend this place to anyone

Probably the best buffet I’ve eaten at. All the food was really tasty, well cooked and aesthetically pleasing. Staff were very friendly and polite, sweet and sour were a definite favourite followed by the lamb tikka and chicken chowmein. If I had any gripe what so every it was the food wasn’t replenished very quickly but we were there at lunch time and it was fairly quiet so that’s understandable. But over all definitely a 5 out of 5 and the best in the area by a long way. Came back a second time over Christmas 2024 and probably even better than the 1st time I went. It really is amazing food and outstanding value fir money

I have been here for the buffet on new year evening, it was recently started. There was a lot of food choices and i tried almost everything. Good ambience and lot of items been presented well . From soup to dessert you have plenty of items. The only reason i am giving a 3 rating is because when i tried the Biriyani over there, it tasted like spoiled rice , I couldn’t eat and it made me sick . And they should make sure the quality of the food is better and no compromise on the taste . Lot of seating capacity available Parking space is available

Authentic Indian flavours. Good service from staff. Staff was very courteous and helpful. They even customised a mutton biryani for us with stronger spices to match our palate. I would recommend they improve their dessert section.

Yes. We came for food and we weren't disappointed. We had a great, lovely dining experience, but on top of that, the staff are very accommodating, friendly, and polite. In addition, the ambience is very cozy. The only thing is they don't have cocktails in their menu choices, but they still managed to grant our wish. Kudos! Five stars for the food and for the people who work here. We will surely come back.

Unfortunately it was really cold sat under the air conditioning and the door opening. The ladies toilet has no hot/warm water and the hand dryer is not working. There are paper towels to dry hands but the bin foot peddle is not working so you have to lift the lid not hygienic needs some attention. Plates were cold and the food cooled down very quickly.

Excellent cuisine of different countries available all of which taste wonderful. Looking forward to further visits in future

Very pleasant welcoming staff, quick service, friendly smiles from everyone. There was a chill in the restaurant, but we moved a heater towards us, and no eyebrows raised.

We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with our visit to Somerset Buffet. The food was very good quality, provided in plentiful amounts, and replenished with fresh portions regularly which ensured quality. A good selection of dishes from the different regions, and all very tasty. We will definitely be paying these guys another visit. Thank you to the whole team for a great experience 😊

We will definitely be coming back soon. It is such an asset for taunton to have a buffet where you will find the most incredible curry selection to offer! If you want a decent curry then you won't be disappointed. We were greeted with such friendly and happy staff. They were so accommodating and allowed us to move tables to a slightly warmer location (it was extremely cold day when we visited and the room was colder than expected but we did see that they were aware and trying to help as we seen portable heaters located around.) the kids enjoyed everything that they choose and was so surprised that you could order a burrito and a burger included in the price. The food was replenished quickly and food was hot. A suggestion was made at the end when we were about to leave that the curries could have stated the hotness due to medical reasons one of our party couldn't have to hot of a spice. The owner took the suggestion and shorlty went and put the information on the label, which we were all so pleased and to be honest shocked that it was taken on board and sorted so quick. Nothing was any trouble for any of the staff. The tables were cleaned efficiently and throughly. The buffet areas were also kept very clean. The pudding selection could have been a bit more of a variety but we did visit lunch time so that could be why. Can not wait for our next visit (I think we may be visiting alot over this coming year as it is perfect for family meals out, get together with friends, date nights) we all wish this newly opened buisness all the best!

Went for Lunch today with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were very attentive but not in your face. My only downside was it was cold in the restaurant but it did not distract us from enjoying our meal. Will certainly recommend to our family and friends.

The service and atmosphere were excellent, creating a pleasant dining experience. However, as someone who enjoys spicy food, I found the menu a bit lacking in spicy options. Despite this, the dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing great quality and taste. If you’re not specifically looking for something spicy, the food is truly enjoyable and worth trying.

Fantastic range of delicious dishes. Lots of options for vegetarians too which was nice. The puddings were fantastic and the coffee that is part of the buffet deal was a nice touch. Even the drinks that you pay for separately were good value. Really helpful and polite staff too. Will definitely be returning as fantastic value.

This was our 2nd time visit on last Saturday. We were a bit disappointed this time. The sushi station hadn’t been replenished since we got there at 7pm until we left before 9pm. Hot food got replenished quite often, but no one checked the sushi station. Hopefully we can see the improvement on visiting next time.

Ordered a takeaway for 6 adults, food was hot and fresh and of good quality. A couple of the curries were quite oily. This wasn't a bad thing, just not my preference.

Plenty of parking available at the venue. Upon entering it was inviting, a nice place to hang coats up if it's been raining. The staff/customer service was great and my wife and I really appreciated that they went above and beyond. The wife had her walking cane and the staff offered to hold her plate or get her food for her. The alarm to the building went off multiple times but we understood it was stressful for the staff and we did not mind as they were so accommodating to us. There was a good variety of food available that even my 1 1/2 year old enjoyed the food. I found some of the items were a bit bland or wasn't what I was expecting, such as the Thai green curry being very youghurty. Though I understand the venue has to cater to all tastes. For those who are wanting to try Indian food and other ethnicities without dedicating themselves to one dish, or have children then I would recommend to try it out.

One curry and roti. Veg rice is tasteless.. Couple of desserts and fruits. Vegetarians or Vegans look for some other options near by..

Recently switched to a buffet system (but there are other items available from a menu during the week). I tried multiple tasters from the Indian and Chinese buffet and could not decide which was best, all tasted amazing! The staff were excellent, quick to clear used plates from the table but always asked if we had finished before touching anything. I have been to several 'all you can eat' buffet style restaurants in Bristol, Oxford, Poole and Taunton, based on our experience tonight this place tops the list. Also worth noting, it is a relatively small venue for a buffet restaurant, great atmosphere but not too loud and not the crush around the self-serve points like other buffet venues.
