Lovely atmosphere and brilliant food - we arrived in the middle of what seemed a huge rush period but were treated well and didn't have to wait long. Our server Daisy was kind and sorted everything out brilliantly. Top notch, will come again (the cloudy lemonade was intense!).

Personally I didn't like the Sunday roast. I had the trio (beef, pork belly and turkey) and only the turkey was ok. Roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese (extra £5 for that) with no flavour at all. And £9 for a frozen crumble that is a completely rip off. Expensive for what you get. The service was good though but a bit slow.

Out standing service and the food was out this world

Popped in for a few beers but at £5.05 for one bottle of Corona beer ( 330ml) then just the one it was, of course I understand there needs to be mark up for profit but there is a balance between a fair profit margin & getting absolutely ripped off, false economy as if the pricing had be reasonable then would have stayed for further drinks & possibly a meal but decided to go elsewhere.

Group of 14 of us. Had a great time. Food was great as was the service from Ellie. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing, staff were friendly and cleared the tables once finished which I like as nothing worse than sitting with dirty plates. We were coming for the full menu but short staffed so only Sunday Roast available but well worth it!

Went in for a pint to join colleagues on a leaving drink celebration which was pre organised. The person the served me didn't look like they wanted to be there at all. Can understand maybe a bit stressful but maybe try to be appreciative of the business.

Our server Amelia was lovely, very attentive and looked after us well. Food was excellent, steak cooked perfectly and skewers 😋 Very local to us, so will definitely be back, thank you. My only slight negative is that we were given a return visit voucher which ran out yesterday. Nonetheless we will be back, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, excellent service and quiet atmosphere 😊

Ellie & Edward are exceptional… being a chef trying to find from of house staff is very difficult and these 2 are sorts hard to find. As for the kitchen there is a serious team in there to clearly, as the attention to detail is fab . Great night xxx

Really nice looking pub/restaurant really cosy! Staff were really welcoming very friendly. I think food is the biggest issue. Food is at a very mid standard but charging absolutely extortionate paid £18 for a few chips and and 6 seasoned bite sized chicken chunks on a skewer no veggies on the skewer either nothing special about it I think they are trying to be more like fine dining without putting the effort in. However I do not blame staff for this as to my understanding it’s a chain so the people on the computers run the company and decides what goes into the food! I think a few changes this could be an amazing place to eat but in my opinion super over priced compared to what you get. Also mango in a side salad is very very weird didn’t like that personally. Made the side salad very slimy. Burgers that came out looked amazing however they didn’t have any left unfortunately:( just my experience… however I’ve hear the roasts are really good there.

Lovely country style pub, great beer garden and the staff are friendly and helpful. Didn't have a meal on this occasion.

Been out shopping and decided to pop in on the off chance as didn't know what times the food were served. Food was very good!! Ordered the signature burger and I wasn't disappointed, proper burger! Also the lamb skewer was ordered on our table and the lamb was to die for so full of flavour and tender. Waitress and bar staff were lovely. Will definitely be back again. Shame I didn't have my phone to include photos.

First time back for Sunday Lunch since it was the New Mill, rather disappointing, service was very slow and the Trio Roast was barely warm. Not sure how the potatoes are roasted, but we're soft and collapsed when cut. Had to ask three times for the desert menu. Apple and Blackberry Crumble was excellent.

Very friendly pub, Brad served us some fantastic espresso martinis. Highly recommended.

Nice pub for cheap and cheerful food

Had fish and chips, really nice. Plenty, couldn't eat all of my meal.

Have to say our visit on a Saturday around 15:00 was very underwhelming. Service was incredibly slow which was surprising as the restaurant wasn't very busy and the beef brisket sandwich, whilst it tasted good was tiny, the bread was so thin. It's a lovely looking Inn but unfortunately, not one I'll be returning to in a rush.

The Sunday lunch was amazing as was our waitress. It was probably the best Sunday roast we haveever had and our 17 year old said his burger meal was the same.

It was my birthday, my husband asked for a rose , it was there and a birthday card from you. The service was excellent as was Grace and Michella who looked after us, and then desert candles and written In Chocolate Happy Birthday and they sang+ a bottle of Prosecco what more could a girl ask for. Fantastic evening.

Lovely visit to the Bathpool with friends and family the food is top notch with great staff and ambience.

The service from the table waiter was excellent. The main course was very good. The 40minute wait for dessert was ridiculous . It was ice cream! The dessert- honeycomb dome £9.50, sounded amazing on the menu. What was served was thoroughly underwhelming and not worth £9.50. The pavlova didn’t fair much better with a near inedible meringue base. The most disappointing thing was when heading to the toilets, I heard the waitress asked very politely in the kitchen , with the door open, how long desserts would be, the way the chef spoke to her was disgraceful, his food wasn’t at Gordon Ramsey levels and he certainly doesn’t have the right to speak to the staff like Ramsey does, we all know that is just for TV. It is no wonder they are short staffed in there.

Our waitress was in need of some customer service training, her whole attitude was that of someone who didn't want to be there and wished all the customers would just hurry up and leave. The food was dreadful, I ate very little of my meal and when I mentioned that it was less than lovely, the waitress asked me to 'explain exactly what was wrong with it'! Will not be returning.

Living locally have been a regular visitor over the years and was excited to try it after the refit. It looks great and has a good atmosphere, seated quickly with a great menu selection. Everything was going well up until the food arrived when it was presented to the table with no ask of whether we wanted sauces or anything else. We waited a minute or 2 as an item we had requested when ordering also hadn’t arrived but no one came back. We watched as group of 5 staff members stood around the bar area having a meeting which dispersed when I inconvenienced them by asking for some sauces. The food was great and I would highly recommend it but they are missing the finishing touches on service when delivering the food and not saying goodbye which is a shame. This place has the potential to be brilliant once they start focusing on the customer.

Large party on an afternoon. Lovely venue, spotless and quiet. All food was pre ordered as per the request however upon arriving we were told we were given the wrong menu choices and therefor several options now weren't available. Made it unnecessarily clunky and then impacted the times at which all the food came out - some had finished while others were still waiting. That said the food was lovely and the staff who served us were great - just the pre ordering and timing timing that let it down a little.

We had a lovely starter and main. Very tasty and fresh. Gluten free options, waitress was very helpful explaining what was gluten free. Ellie was really friendly and helpful serving us.

Just popped in for a meal. Lovely, clean stylish decor. Food was divine - we only had bar snacks but they were delicious and obviously great quality.

The two girls who were working were great. They were trying their hardest to keep up with the flow of people coming in. There was a lot of customers and clearly not enough staff. It was a shame the chap who was working was more interested in completing admin and rotas than serving people. The food was good

We visited the Bathpool Inn for a family birthday meal, not only did we have a lovely meal but we were served by Ellie who was extremely attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and just an absolute star from start to finish! Thank you Ellie for making our evening perfect!

Skewers were lovely & good variety of drinks . A little expensive but service was good & food very fresh & hot . Lamb skewer was a little chewy but the prawn ones were fantastic !

Fabulous steak dinner. Faultless cooking. Congratulations to the kitchen. Sadly, front of staff less on the ball. Ordered wine and water, but only wine arrived. Had to chase up the water when the dinner arrived. The FOH staff were having a nice chat between themselves which probably explained the lapse.

Excellent food with great veggie options, friendly service, and good set up. Returned here over a weekend since it's had a refurbishment. Same great quality food and service.

Recently refreshed. Bit disappointed with the ordering of meals from the bar. Preferred the previous table wait system. Too many people queuing at the bar to order drinks and meals.

We had Sunday lunch to celebrate my Mother's Birthday. Although the pub internally looks great post refit, we were not impressed with the staff or the food. I did not make a scene as it was my Mums Birthday. A number of customers were not happy about certain things, the waiting staff were rude and derogatory within ear shot of customers. Excessively long waiting time for food to arrive, when it did, it was average at best. The food is over priced for what it is, we likely won't return. A shame, as we were hoping for better.

Just a walk in, but was made very welcome, no problem getting a table and all staff were excellent, very personable. Decor was lovely and fresh, food outstanding we will be going again. Highly recommended.

Great vegan options (marked in VE on menu) mains and starters and vegan dessert available too. Really good quality and well thought out, not just veggie options thrown in there. Lovely big garden with seating that’s out in the sun and options in the shade that are more secluded and private. Bar and restaurant are clean and staff are nice and attentive. Bathrooms are clean and tidy, lots of different seating options available too.

I'm glad this is back to being called The Bathpool Inn. Went for lunch on a Saturday. Lovely atmosphere, relatively busy but not crowded. Place is well decorated and it was clean. Food was delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. It is a bit pricey but the food was of good quality and was very tasty.

Great atmosphere, very comfortable and modern. Staff are super friendly which is lovely to see. Had the sticky sharing platter and was very impressed! We did not go hungry but hopefully you will take some constructive comments in the spirit they are meant ....I would change the chorizo sausage bowl to be a mixed dish of chorizo sausages and patatas bravas combined. It was a lot of chorizo. The tzaziki and hummus would be great in your little pots along with a pot of aioli too. What is brilliant is it all tasted freshly cooked, even the hummus and tzaziki tasted home made. The dish on the whole was delicious and I would definitely recommend it. Only downside is drinks were on the pricey side. A pint of non alcoholic beer and a fever tree ginger ale were £14.

The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly to our request, the pork belly was wonderful and the signature burger takes some beating. Be sure to book as it's busy, but the quality doesn't suffer through its popularity.

Popped into the newly refurbished Bath pool Inn and was amazed at the transformation from when I last visited. However upon ordering just two vegetable wraps I was informed that two of the ingredients weren't available and it then took a further 25 minutes to arrive at our table despite being a quiet lunchtime. I sincerely hope this unfortunate episode is just teething troubles?

Waitress (Neesha I think her name was) was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Deserts were very good. Unfortunately all 3 of our steaks were served cold and all under cooked (rare not medium as asked) one was inedible due to toughness on one half and too rare on the other. Chips also undercooked and hard in the middle. Sauces were good though

Nice welcoming, homely pub/restaurant. Great beer garden for those summer days/evenings. Lovely log fire for those cold and wet winter nights. Foods good, beer is lovely. Took the pup for a walk and stopped off for a bite to eat and a beer. Waiter was so friendly and great with the pup.
