Typical clean vintage inn and not too busy, helpful staff, had the sea bass which was nice,plenty of parking

This was our first visit to the refurbished Bathpool Inn. It was brilliant! A menu for gluten free (not an iPad for me to search) and good choices. I even had more than one choice for pudding. The food was super. Lovely presentation and good portion size. Ellie was a warm, friendly and personable staff member. The atmosphere was relaxed and we felt welcome. We recommend the Bathpool Inn. +++++

If you like the idea of waiting for an hour for something as complicated as fish & chips this is the place for you. The hours gone and no food yet... (Staff seem nice enough but probably a future fast moving simple pub food is not careers where they'd thrive. Maybe something along the line of paint drying observers...)

Had birthday celebration in Garden. Food very good and a bit unusual, if a perhaps little pricey.. Service excellent and very quick at a busy time. Dogs welcome. Wheelchair accessible, which I needed. Great experience all round

After our last visit I left disappointed with my meal. We were a little reluctant to return however my concerns were quickly put put at ease by our fantastic server Ellie. The food was great and such an improvement on my last visit.

It’s much improved here since I last visited over a year ago. The meals were huge but really good flavours. Our server was Amelia and she was so friendly and patient, especially as my friend couldn’t decide what to have!

Thanks Lily! Had a meal here sat in the beer garden with our dog. Food was excellent, a good selection of beers to choose from. They are extremely dog friendly and we often come here with our dog, you can also sit inside with dogs in the large bar area. On our recent visit, Lily served us and her service was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. She asked if she could bring some dog biscuits for our dog and did so with a bowl of water, she was very attentive and gave a fantastic level of service which we really didn't expect when sitting in the garden. We will definitely continue to come here and recommend it to others!

Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine warmth don’t go unnoticed, and she always makes sure she comes over to see us and say hello, no matter how busy she is. Some members of staff ignored us when we wanted something. Food this time was not great. You couldn't have any more sauce on the chicken Katsu, which didn't have enough. When we asked for more, we were told we couldn't have anymore. The mini bakewell deserts were dry.

My family and I have been coming to this pub regularly for the past 18 months, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best around. The staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, it makes such a difference to the overall atmosphere. No matter how busy it gets (and it’s often buzzing, which is great to see), the service never slips. It’s a credit to Nick, Ellie and the rest of the team that the pub is thriving the way it is. The food? Always spot on. Whether it’s a quick dish or an evening meal, I’ve never had a bad dish. Everything comes out fresh, well-cooked, and exactly as expected. I’ve seen the odd negative review here and there, and of course, you’ll always find someone who wants to complain. But in all the times I’ve been here, and that’s a lot, I’ve never had a single reason to raise an issue about anything, whether it’s the food, service, or staff. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.

Came for Sunday lunch on 23rd March, all we have to say is it was an all round fantastic experience from service to food and atmosphere, our waitress Elle was amazing .

What a delicious roast, perhaps the best pub roast I have ever had! Turkey can sometimes be very dry but this was so perfectly cooked! Everything was super yummy and I would most definitely go again and recommend the Sunday lunch to everyone! Also the server Izzy was lovely!

Roast dinner was a bit dry and veg was under cooked the fish and chips with mushy peas was cold not the best for the money

We came here before Christmas and it was amazing so chose here to come back for a birthday meal with the family and did not disappoint, the food was exceptional and the staff were amazing even Amy our waitress was so lovely she is an asset! Thanks for having us see you again soon!

Popped in for a little pub lunch on a Tuesday, lovely atmosphere and interior as I think it’s been recently done up in here! Great food and huge portion sizes, our waitress Lily was super lovely and friendly, gave us advice when asked about the menu and recommended some dishes. Super attentive asking if we needed anything. We had never been here before but we took a chance and booked a midday meal for New Year's Day and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious with a great variety on the menu. The service was brilliant, we were served by Lily and we couldn't have wanted for anything more, nothing was too much trouble. All the staff we encountered were happy and helpful. Great place to eat and we will definitely be going back.

This place def has the wow factor it was and 👏 I booked a table for 1pm and were seated in and old conservatory area on the left near the toilets.Our server I believe was called alinee she had long dark hair and finished at 3pm.She was great great humour and like all the staff kept on top of all the tables which impressed me as in hospitality myself.The food was insane I had the roast lamb omg best roast dinner I ever had and I had a few my family had the pork belly and was so impressed it was such a great main meal and every bite was a sheer delight.My gran had the crumble it was massive and def worth the money and I had the sticky toffee pudding yummy it was. The place was spotless even the toilets def recommend it here the food was insane and so was the ambience and our server was so lovley and made sure we had everything we needed I was impressed I def be back as it was so lovley I returning Tuesday for another meal thankyou again
