KFC Taunton - Hankridge Way in Taunton Deane

Food is good but they cheated.. ordered 12 chicken wings .. they packed only 6

I was more of a big golden arch fan. But since coming here the quality of food is better in the KFC

Every time I have ordered from here for delivery, there is always items missing or they have sent me the wrong stuff. Sort it out it’s not difficult

The restaurant was alright. Pretty average, but there was a hair in my burger. Hence the three star. However they made me another one FOC with no fuss so credits there. You can never help losing hair, but hairnets are designed to stop this from happening. So maybe some hairnet training is needed here also.

Food never turned up, phoned them, they said it was sent out at 21.30, so I phoned user, who told me the rider refused the order, and nobody picked it up, then I got an email from kfc saying, they cancelled the order due to no courier, and it could take 3-5 working days for the refund. How can the manager tell me it left at 21.30, when it never left , oh yeah, he told me this without me telling him the order number, plus I rang on my wife's phone, not my phone (which is the one on my account), He never even apologised. I will never use the Hankridge one again, disgusting service

Always manage to mess up the order

Ordered on 17/04/25 at 9.21. We were called up to collect our food after about 10 minutes only to be told that they didn't have any gravy or corn (the 2 sides we had ordered & frankly the gravy was the reason I plumped for KFC instead of McD that night) BUT they also didn't have any beans or mash potato. So would I like side salad or extra chips? The side salads we were given was an absolute joke (pictured) We then sat down with our meal but weren't given any cups to go with our bottle of Pepsi Max. My 13 year old daughter went to the counter and waited patiently for about 3 or 4 minutes for the 2 workers behind the counter chatting to notice her. She sat back down but we also didn't have any napkins, there weren't any in the dispenser so again she waited at the counter, where there were no workers this time for another 5 minutes. I then got up to find the gent cleaning and asked him to get us some, which he did. Tried to add to my complaint on the KFC website. The only way you can contact customer service only to be greeted with a spinning symbol and the message never go through. Not a good experience. And not good service from customer services. & Please have a laugh at the side salads that we were given.

I was attempting to call and order for my starving grandkids who have not been fed for 3 days due to a horrible environment at their home. I was then met with a member of staff who did not even let me get a sentence out before then proceeding to hang up the phone. Horrible service would not recommend, I shall be ordering from McDonald’s.

Terrible.... Food was mainly salt! Does not taste like KFC. ... Staff so unhelpful. Would not share allergy information for the menu and tried to over charge... Menu showed price but till charge another price staff unwilling to resolve. ... Avoid!

Awful service if you want to stand around waiting for cold food this is the place for you

Very greasy chicken, too salty, and the restaurant was absolutely filthy with not a single clean area anywhere. Even the napkin dispenser was covered in some horrible crusty filth. Not a busy time of day either. A real shame.

Staff were absolutely useless and just rude at customers wanting a refund after a 40+ minute wait for chicken. Also they had 5 workers at the front just chatting and standing around with 1 of then actually doing the bare minimum this was a appalling experience and I will not be coming back any time soon

Yet another order with missing items

Close to the M5 which is handy. It was ok. Reasonable food, slightly greasy. Reasonably busy. Staff all seemed to be churning out food which meant tables weren't clear or clean.

Restaurant was very dirty with litter and food all over the floor. Service was slow and we waited far too long for our order. Disappointing experience overall.

The coleslaw was watery not as good as it was before.

The delivery time kept shifting later and later, when it finally arrived it was stone cold.

I’m missing 2 pots of gravy and a 1.5L of Pepsi Max!

It must be home time as the order was put together with one portion fries and minus the dip I paid for. The chicken was really bad for the fact that’s what your meant to specialise in plus was all cold.

1 driver collected from the restaurant and never marked it as collected and didn't delivered had to call the restaurant to remake and re send the order, no apology or freebies

Food was reasonable. Really strong kitchen smell/fog all over the place. Must have been an issue with a ventilation system. Food droppings everywhere had to swap 3 tables to be able to find clean one to sit at. Staff could do a better on it

Well,worst ever meal. Two piece chicken plus one extra chicken piece.was obviously cooked hours ago and arrived stone cold along with stone cold chips.ordering from here is a disgrace.never again.it all went in the bin.

After waiting 25 minutes in the drive thru, finally got my food (which was like warm at best). Ordered two wraps, which unfortunately were not wrapped. Disorganisation springs to mind, I’d pay to park and go to the KFC in town

Forget half my order and really slow to deliver so the food is always tepid.

The food was great and delivered on time, still hot can’t fault it as it was banging, I recommend KFC riverside to everyone

The quality of the food was very poor. Chicken drumsticks only and the batter was very crispy. Hugely disappointing- I had to throw them away

Just got a veggie rice box, got home and realised the corn on the cob hadn't been put in - not being funny but there's not much in a rice box anyway so not great to be missing quite a big element of it!

My husband order a fillet box meal - chose his own choice side which was coleslaw. I order a two chicken portion meal - asked for bbq sauce. No coleslaw, no bbq and annoying no serviettes

never go here on a friday evening. there are often 40 minute to 1 hour waits for food and then you realise your burger is luke warm.

asked for 2 breast pieces in the motes as don't like leg meat and got 2 leg drumsticks. delivery took longer than first time given kept moving back. like warm when delivered.

I was told by a colleague that the delivery notes can be seen in restaurant's notes when I put the order through. wrong items where put in the order and when I rang up I was told that isn't the case and again once the food leves the restaurant it's not ththere problem. that's great but that now means me and my partner don't have a meal

Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs!! A couple hours after eating my takeaway I felt unwell, then spent the next 6 hours being sick! Had only eaten a plain pasta meal for lunch 6 hours before hand so I think it’s safe to say why I was so violently ill for such a prolonged period of time. Put off for life!!!

I ordered a family bucket today and received undercooked chicken breast .The bucket only comprised of chicken breast its a total waste of money had to throw most of the food.staff need to improve their service and also consider the value of money.wish i could get my money back and buy something else.Especially on staff that worked 27/11/24 night

Shame really but it takes so long for the food to come out and i don’t think I have had an order correct ever. We love kfc but this store is poor.

25.11.2024 15.15 Hankridge Way - Taunton Our last visit to this KFC. We ordered ricebox and had a half portion. When I complained we received an extra salad leaf. Lol.

Missing items and it’s really just not very good very greasy and poor value for money

While it's suitable for a quick bite, cleanliness is lacking; food remains on the floor, and the tables have not been cleaned. The staff do not appear to be motivated to work.

not particularly hot bit driver had a bit of a journey and its freezin outside but was wekk cooked.

I live in wellington somerset and picked up order from drive thru in taunton. My food was not only tasty but still hot after I drove back home. The politeness of the staff is to be commended very easy and straight thru ordering system. I would definitely be visiting again

Gravy and fries were cold burger was just about warm enough to eat The gravy had to be microwaved For £20 disappointed

Edit- Went there again on Friday and they missed the spicy rice off my order again. Didn’t find out until I got home. Worst KFC ever, got home and they’d missed my sides off of the order.

No corn on the cob but substitute with extra beans 😔 but food was great 👍

Ever time we go for take away we get home and some think is all ways missing 5 works stood around it was not busy and still missing a rice book. Do I have to take it all out to check it ever time 😡

TRULY DREADFUL. PURCHASED THE FILLET BUGER MEAL x 3 (FOR 3 PEOPLE) . THE CHICKEN FILLET IS 1/2 THE SIZE OF THE IMAGES, & THE FILLET I HAD WAS 20% SMALLER THAN THE OTHER 2 MEALS. I TOOK IT BACK & WAS TOLD IT WAS THE STANDARD SIZE & THEY DIDN'T AGREE IT WAS SMALLER THAN THE OTHER TWO & REFUSED TO CHANGE. STAFF DO NOT CARE, THE PLACE WAS EMPTY, NO SURPRISE WITH SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & FOOD THAT ISN'T ANYTHING LIKE THE ADVERTISING IMAGES. KEEP YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET & GO TO ANOTHER FAST FOOD COMPANY THAT WE ALL KNOW & CARES ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS. DREADFUL PLACE

After placing the order it said it would be 10-25 mins, we waited 1 and a half hours for our food. I called kfc and the person i spoke to was rude, blunt and hung up on me after i said i have children waiting for the food. I wouldnt have ordered

Delivery wasn't what I had ordered. I asked for beans and got corn on the cob! Corn on the cob was already part of the order. The delivery time kept changing. These were problems at the restaurant end and not with delivery not the deliverer.

Awful service, not fast food at all. Unable to deal with just ten orders and no apologies to customers.

Went in there today I was very disappointed on one of the staff (jenifer or jeni) was very rude when she severed my food I’m not going there ever again

30minutes stuck in the drive through. Only 2 cars ahead. 20:45pm quiet as anything. Why? Ice cream down as well

It seems like they need to streamline their operations and improve staff training to get things back on track. Overall, while the food is delicious, KFC really needs to work on cleanliness and efficiency. I hope to see improvements on my next visit!
