Avoid gluten free pizza from Pizza Hut. Expensive and described as a medium pizza that could feed 1-2 people. Couldn’t fed the dog that as a meal it is so small. Very unhappy with service and description. If this is all you can offer that is gluten free then just don’t offer it as an option.

I'm a delivery driver and whenever I have visited this store always got rude welcome. Lastly I visited today to collect order, no one came to see or ask. Music was playing loudely in the store, I opened the main door twice to make the person aware that I'm in store still no one came so I knocked the door 2.. 3 times, the guy came and told straight away that I'm being rude and I will not get any order from this store anymore for no reason.. this is the worst service and not a good behavior towards a person who is also doing his job.. and I felt it racist because this is not the first time I faced something here in pizza hut

My partner ordered for a delivery for his friend and was told it would be ready by 5, he called as the order is 30 mins late (still hadn’t arrived at this point) and received abuse over the phone and he kept interrupting, he was very rude and threatened to cancel the order when my partner was trying to reason with him respectfully, the customer service we received was bang out of order!!

Issue with calls not going through to me from driver. Unsure why.

I have been to lots of Pizza Hut joints and this is by far the worst one I have had. It was dry no flavour and the stuffed crust was like eating a stale bread. Absolutely disgusting

We normally order for delivery and it has been good until last night. We came into the store to order and collect, only to wait 10 minutes before anyone came to the desk. Given that it was quite late and it seemed like there was only one person working, it's understandable. However, when the employee eventually came to the desk, his demeanour and attitude was horrendous. It wasn't welcoming at all, at one point, we were close to leaving. Furthermore, he absolute wreaked of very strong body odour, not exactly something you want to smell on someone cooking your food. It was heavily off putting. I must say, he did put in some effort in getting us a better deal that the one we came in to get, hence why service isn't one star but it was an unpleasant experience overall. We don't usually come in to order and collect, most of the time opting for delivery so I'm not sure if this is a regular interaction but if it is, absolutely appalling. When we got home, we opened to find a rushed job, the pizza wasn't cut fully and the sizes of the slices were very uneven, it looks like very little effort was put into the product. There was also a lack of topping on one of the pizzas.

Pizza is never cut properly, large is 10 slices where I always get 8 or even worse it will all be cut up stupid in the box. Food was nice but this happens everytime. If it states that a large pizza is 10 slices then that's what it should be, also false advertisement of the menu by doing this. Hope this can be sorted as it just seems lazy by the staff and like they don't care, I mean once or twice you can understand but everytime is a joke.

Ordered online, waited two hours, never delivered, called the store and drivers to find out the order may have been stolen but the store refused to give the order to the driver as it had “already been picked up”. Horrible Service over phone and was no help.

This is the most bizarre review after a bizarre experience. We had just landed back in the UK after a long haul flight. Having had very little sleep and having a 4.5 hour drive home to Cornwall, to save time, we thought, let's order pizza. I looked on Google, and found this place. Not far off the M5, shouldn't take us long, I can pre order. So I did. Went in to collect, no order received. Odd. Showed him my email confirmation and it turns out I accidentally ordered for the wrong time. My error totally! Clocks have gone back and because we've been out of the country, the time in our car was wrong. I said 'sorry my error, but could you please put it in and cook it for us now as we've still got another 2 hours to drive after a long haul flight, we've hardly slept, I'm exhausted and hungry and made an error'. The guy at the counter said 'Sorry I can't do that. The computer won't allow me.' I said 'but I've paid, I've got proof of payment, I've got my bank card, photo ID and I'm standing right in front of you, explaining I've made a mistake re the time and asking if you can please cook it for me now.' Repeat response 'No. The computer won't allow me to do that.' I then asked if I could cancel the order and reorder, and was told no. I needed to contact customer services. Only they can do that. I went online to cancel but it said that customer services will take 48 hours to reply. I explained this to the guy. Asking again, and saying surely you can just cook it now and then not cook it later. No he says, if you reorder and pay again now and customer services don't reply and the order is there in an hours time, I'll cook it again. To which I replied 'what, even though I'm here telling you I just made a mistake because of the clocks going back and you know I won't be here to collect in another hour!?'. Yes, he replies because the computer controls everything. I then said, but if you cook it again customer services will refuse my refund won't they!?' 'I don't know' , he replied' that's up to them!' To which I replied' so 'even though I'm here in front of you with the card I paid with, saying I've made an error with the time and you don't need to cook it again, you won't cook it for me now and you won't cancel my order, and plan to cook it again in an hour even if I reorder now'. 'I'm not allowed to' came the reply. 'Everything is controlled by computer'. Utter madness!!!!! Eventually he agreed to put it in the oven half an hour after my visit, when the order dropped, so I didn't have to wait a full hour. But after a long haul flight, 4.5 hour drive home, I honestly could have stood there and cried. I get that the time selected was totally my error, but I cannot fathom that a human cannot make up and put a pizza in an oven 45 minutes before the computer tells them to, and then just doesn't do the same again 45 minutes later!!! Absolutely dreadful customer service. No compassion whatsoever. I ran my own shop for 7 years and would bend over backwards to help a customer. Just no compassion. Maybe I should have read the other reviews before going here. Whoever owns this place you need to sort out your staff!!! When my husband went in to collect, he said no one even came to the counter to greet him. Nobody about at all. Sad, because the food was absolutely delicious.

the pizzas were both slumped and misshapen at one side of the box as if store sideways for some time.. the pizza was missing the garlic crust and the amount of wedges for £5.59 is pretty pathetic... not how Pizza Hut used to be....

I'm very unhappy with this order. Very late. And a tiny portion of frys which was described as a 'party' deal- not even enough for 1 person. Just Eat site does not specify additional charges for cheese crusts.

I normally like this place and food but today I need to call out the staff. These people didn't cook my pizza well, since it was half baked, and didn't fulfill the two toppings offer, giving me only 3 options when it's normally 2 toppings of choice. Please, managers or people in charge check these people's work out because they are dropping the standards dramatically

Order not delivered and was told they never had an order from address but the money was taken from my account via PayPal so I have proof and proof of my order aswell will not be using Pizza Hut again for sure .

Terrible took 20 minuets to come to the front swearing!! Never experienced it before manager wouldn't give me his name!! He explained he was over staffed!! Not happy couldn't trust the branch!! Hi one pizza was missing & the cookie dough as missing. Had to share one pizza . Garlic bread was stone cold really poor service

First time trying a melt. Really delicious. The garlic bread , however, was cold. All went down very quickly as I was very hungry. Would recommend the melt!

Great Hawaiian pizza and I also recommend the white choc chip caramel cookie dough which comes with lovely vanilla ice cream. Quick delivery and polite delivery drivers. Edit: 2nd order - create your own pizza + a side is a good deal. The cheesy garlic bread is more garlicky than cheesy.

They now run a no cash service. So if you don't have money on a card you can't pay. Which happened to me. No bank card on me, but had plenty of cash on me to pay.

Yummy pizza as always despite it was a little cold on arrival but it was absolutely freezing outside so am not surprised. Requested my pizza to be delivered at a particular time slot unfortunately this was ignored so ended up getting it two and half hours early.

Food was great, amazing actually. The delivery driver was a let down. 10 minutes late, which we usually don't mind. However this time they parked all the way up the street which is a good 10 minute walk. Initially we thought he'd gotten lost, but while handing our food to us he dropped his phone. He was late because he was too busy playing Pokemon Go. Bit annoying to be honest. He was so busy playing Pokemon Go that when we found him he was trying to give our food to an elderly neighbour to engrossed in his phone to realise it was the wrong house. He also made the website say the food was delivered before he even had delivered it. Tldr; food was amazing as always, service not so much.

On time but just at the later of the estimate. Was told 20.30-20.50 as an estimate arrived approx 20.50/20.55 however I was told it was with driver about 20.05/20.10 so I waited to greet. It was stone cold over cooked not good at all

Went in to make an order for a pizza and some garlic bread - instead of garlic break, I received a portion of wedges instead. I phoned in about it and was told nothing could be done about that (I know at the time of ordering I was wearing a mask, but I made it clear several times that I wanted garlic bread and never once asked for wedges, I don't think the person I ordered through had the strongest understanding of English either, to be fair). After eating some of the wedges, a friend whom I shared them with claimed that some of them were undercooked, and I've spent a good part of the last hour feeling slightly ill. If I order from here again, I'll have to ensure that the order is all 100% correct BEFORE leaving. At least the spicy pepperoni pizza itself was good, which is why I'm leaving four stars instead of three.

Firstly I ordered at the one in Hankridge but my order was delinced there and there was no reason for it. I then ordered at the station road shop where for the exact same order was £5 more than the Hankridge store!! Any ways, the pizza turned up and it was way to thin and half of the topping fell off back in the box when I picked it up. The crust was far to crunchy. My garlic bread never turned up so had to phone them to say but the person on the phone was rude and didn’t have a clue. He said “oh erm” and “I’ll have to bake another” rather angrily and rudely. I had to wait another 1hour for it to turn up & when it did, I was that “stuffed” I couldn’t eat it!!!! Next time I’ll be ordering else where. @pizzahut staff; PLEASE check all orders before sending them out as you are the second place in a week that have missed things off my orders!!!!!

Advertises 30-45min delivery. Took over 2 hours from order to arrive. Notifications said it was on its way after 40mins and said enjoy your food after 45. When I called to chase they said it was still being cooked!!

Starting to get really annoying that from one week to the next , you just dont know if they have gluten free options available!!. No gluten free for about five months then they did for about two weeks but none again.

Pizza was very good, I never had a pizza with so much toppings on. Amazing pizza. I recommend it to anyone. The only issue that I had I ordered an ice cream magnum and they sent me Ben jerry blondie brownie and I hate brownies, not my thing... I wish they have called me, that's why is that number phone I guess....and told me that they don't have what I ordered and let me choose something else, something that I like not them to decide for me. I throw that ice cream in the bin, waste money . I hope in the future for their progression and to keep their customers to call the client and explain if they don't have what they ordered or to remove the items from menu.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Late pizza on 2 occasions and the first time our pizza had clearly been left on its side. Also lies from the staff about how long it is taking and where it is. Not good.

We ordered this once before and it was lovely but this time we ordered and paid for an 11” but received a 9”, there wasn’t much sauce or topping and it just was just quite bland and more crust than topped pizza which was chewy and burnt. Really not worth the cost and won’t order from here again.
