A nice friendly little cafe for the over 50s. took my mum and dad in there, we felt very welcome, good place to rest and have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.or coffee and a cake.

Popped in for a card and was pleasantly surprised to find a cafe area at the back offering breakfasts, light lunches and homemade cakes. Had a lovely coffee and a slice of carrot cake - will be back.

Very nice shop with seats outside, so you can sit and watch the world go by as you enjoy your coffee and snacks nicely decorated, good service, making you feel welcome and restful.

A very helpful lady served me and gave me a great meal with two side dishes .The place was very clean and tidy.i could,nt thank her enough for her expert help with my card.

Good range of food quality food and drink available and nice coffee. I was part of a large group for a birthday brunch. Although my food was served first it was not as hot as I'd like. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good on dietary requirements.

I brought a iced latte for my daughter, she loved it, however the cakes, I noticed there were lots of flies over the cakes, I made the lady aware who was serving me, but the duration of me being in the store they were not moved. I have noticed this a lot in coffee shops that flies hang around the cakes. It has made me think twice about ordering a cake from a coffee shop again.

Seems to be an ongoing issue when ordering fruit, something to be mindful of if ordering breakfast with fruit attached

Very weird. Lunch time and only 1 person behind bar. Single line queue of people waiting. Been to many pubs and haven’t ever queued for a pint. Felt more like an understaffed coffee shop

When we visit Yate we always like to go to Boswells the food is always lovely and the staff are always helpful. They have plenty of staff and they all seem to be happy in their work. Tables are always cleaned and when observing I see that the staff are always on hand to help people that need a hand taking drinks to their tables and anything they need. The restaurant has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and I liken it to a community meeting place. Lovely tasty food well cooked with a great choice and always a welcoming smile from the staff, which makes a huge difference to feeling welcome. Thank you to all I look forward to our next visit. We chose this venue as it was our son in laws favourite place to meet his friends. Sadly he recently passed so we chose to have the wake here. I can’t thank them enough for the kindness and lovely staff who served us all. The venue is perfect. plenty of parking and the food was excellent. Although the day was extremely emotional the venue brought us all together. Highly recommend! Just hope you all experience Stanshaws for a happier occasion. Plenty of seating inside and out! Thank you for giving our lovely Mike a great send off !
