Nothing amazing but convenient as Ledbury has no Chinese take aways.

Never again and probably the worst fish n chips I have ever had. The batter was greasy and dark brown and fish was dry like it a had been refried and the chips were the same. I didn't take a photo before I threw most in the bin, but the pic Camper52568780966 has posted in their review is spot on. Shame really, I had high hopes as its award winning.

Been calling here for many years o our way to visit family in Cheltenham. So glad to see it developing. Excellent coffee and toasties. You should see the size of the cakes! Happy to support this enterprise. It is doing good work.

This is the only pub at the top end of Lydney and a handy watering hole if you are staying at the motel two or three minutes' walk away. Good range of beers which for me as a refugee from Surrey are offered at extremely attractive prices.

We tried the new spicy vegan aubergine pizza, which was very tasty. Probably not for those who don't like spicy food, though, with jalapeños, chilli oil, and chilli flakes. We were also entertained by a seagull who decided to stroll in through an open door for a look around, after which we helped him find his way out. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was very good. Except maybe the tomato-based sauce dip that comes with the dough balls; neither of us finds it very tasty, and it seems to be the same at all the Pizza Express restaurants.

We went to Lydney to visit our daughter. My wife and daughter went into the high street to look in the shops have that’s the first time we had been there. When they were in the high street they decided to go into Ruddy fish and chip shop. When they returned home the first thing they said was they have not put any mushy peas in. Disappointed. But the chips was delicious crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. Fish was succulent batter was crisp excellent value bar the mushy peas was missing. It was too far to walk back to the high street as my wife is recovering from a broken hip.

Appalling experience. Waited almost an hour with two young children. Doorstep toast was cheap thin brown bread. Asked for poached eggs on white received hard eggs on cheap brown. Pancakes and burnt inedible bacon was the last straw. Avoid.

Yet again, another deeply disappointing and underwhelming delivery and food experience from Milano! Despite disappointments in the past I thought I would try them again as they have recently re-branded. opened another premises next door and have installed a user friendly ap. I ordered a home delivery online - no issues with that at all and no issue with the fact that my ETA was approximately one and a half hours - it was a bank holiday Sunday so you expect to wait. Where I DO take issue is the fact that the food arrived stone cold! To pay over 44 quid for a couple of pizzas, a wrap and some meat, chips etc and receive them stone cold is completely unacceptable! To then ring and make them aware of the situation to be informed that the delivery car left the premises as soon as our order had been cooked and delivered immediately is blatantly untrue - we live just over 3 miles away!?! The fact that the management couldn’t even be bothered to take my call but was shouting in the background to his employee what to say to me says it all… No one minds mistakes, no one minds waiting but please don’t insult my intelligence and tell me my food had been cooked to order and delivered immediately. Don’t rip people off who have agreed to place an order with you and in good faith expect to receive their food hot - well to be fair, you could have had me at warm!! Don’t pass the buck and expect your phone operative to take the flack and not respond yourself to complaints. He’s probably on minimum wage and didn’t cook the food so he’s not the problem - you are. Take accountability, don’t rip people off and don’t send your food out COLD!!

I ordered house special fried rice it had virtually no flavour at all and was lukewarm. I also ordered Chinese spareribs these were awful The meat was hard and stale and the ribs were just warmed up and poured very weak sauce over the top I rang and complained and I was told if you don’t like them don’t bloody buy them. As a Chinese chef. This person is a disgrace to Chinese food he certainly does not know how to cook will never ever go there again.

Our usual chippy but won’t be going here again. Food is okay sometimes good, sometimes questionable but more good than bad. Delivery usually takes a while but food is hot when it arrives. Delivery person usually is quiet but okay when he comes but now have had 3 somewhat bad experiences so will not be buying from here again. 1st, saw on our ring him shooing our cat away from our gate and waved his hands at her so she fell off the fence. 2nd, about a week ago he was moaning saying that unless we order before 8 we will not be getting our food… my order confirmation came through at 8:03 on a Saturday via email. 3rd, about 20 minutes ago I let my dogs out for a wee. He tried to open gate but dogs were by it so couldn’t. I called them in and shut them on the house. He said the dogs scared him so I apologised but he said they shouldn’t have been out and practically threw my food and drinks into my hands so much so the can fell on the floor. And to top it off he left while raising his voice regarding my dogs. Pity as we use them a lot but will not be returning.

Not once had a bad meal from here since these owners have taken over. Good food, always delivered at a reasonable time and always hot.
