The best restaurants serving Default food in St David's Exeter South West

I went to the Costa in the high street had a lovely toasted ham and cheese sandwich and a huge cappacino Now I must say JAKE what a gem he served my friend and I was really pleasant bought our food to the table I lost my receipt and wanted to use the toilet so he wrote the number down for me I am a Welcome Manager for the National Trust we pride ourselves with Customer service and I wouldnt think twice of employing JAKE he is a real star and deserves a huge thankyou for his Customer service this makes a huge difference to whether or not Customers go back to places Please thank him it's these staff members that need promoting to run your stores

always a friendly professional service. Very tasty and always made just how i like it heat wise....great value for money and highly recommend a visit and taste ...great variety of foods on offer depending on your dietry requirements ......definitely made me and my partner become regulars!!!

Comfortable seating area. Was unable to order from main restaurant menu if I wanted to sit at the more appropriate tables for working. Quite over priced. Weirdly a few guys served after me had burgers and things from the main menu in the bar area even though I specifically asked and was told no. Maybe a case of members treatment

The worst pizza I have ever had. It arrived in a box that looked like it had been thrown around and sat on. The pizza was cold and it wasn't cooked properly. There was some sort of black dirt or mold on the bottom of the crust, also tasted old and stale. I had one slice then threw it away. Very disappointed, but at least the Fanta was ok.

The sirloin beef was excellent, and the vegetable cook produced perfect freshly cooked vegetables to go with the meal (no English mustard?). The restaurant was clean and the view is amazing. Nonetheless, the best meals are served by good waiters. I felt sorry for our waitress who had so obviously received totally inadequate training; we had to ask for a drinks menu. It was about twenty minutes before the wine I ordered arrived at our table. After our meal had been served, no one came to ask if everything was OK, (and it wasn't a busy day). we had to wait ages for our plates to be cleared and again when we wished to order our desert (As, I noted, did our neighbouring table). The pleasant atmosphere was somewhat spoiled by rather loud Musac. This was a rather harsh noise coming from the speaker above our head, completely tuneless and utterly pointless. If you feel the need to put a noise through the speakers, please make it relaxing. And tuneful would be nice!

The staff are just lovely. The food cold and unseasoned. I'm pretty sure that the veg were frozen. Such a shame. How about a little honey on those parsnips???? Fresh sprouts???? Potatoes were soggy and warm as was the Yorkshire pudding. Really disappointed.

I’m rating the cafe, We ordered a pizza margarita wrap, they warmed it up in Mikey, the trusted microwave so it was soggy like wet socks. It stuck to the paper, the dough wasn’t cooked even before they put it in Mikey. I returned it and they toasted it for 2 minutes that just barely cooked the outer layer. We just left it at that. Waste of money and rude customer service

Banned from Exeter with assistance dog. Sign in window says they are allowed. Rude assistant manager NO correspondence from customer care.

My favourite coffee in Exeter. Love to come every morning with my husband.

Middle of the afternoon - I walk in to see the woman (who would end up serving me) cleaning the bins and sweeping up; she didn't bother to wash her hands, opting only to put gloves on. Then - incredibly - midway through making my sandwich (whilst it was being toasted), she started using her gloved hand to sweep random food and crumbs from the counter and into the bin... I had to stop her and ask her to change her gloves before continuing with me order! The thing is, when staff are this incredibly poor at food hygiene when they're literally standing in front of a customer, F knows how bad they are behind the scenes!

£4.50 for frozen chips! Average sized portion, they wanted £14.50 for cod and chips, the place is clearly for people who have more money than sense, a bit like Darts farm itself.
