Used to be a favourite stop, but really disappointed this week to find that the menu of good, fresh food (what else, for a farm shop?) had been pared back to pasties, filled croissants and sausage rolls and the like. Gone were the soups & sandwiches. No vegan options.

Just had a couple of nights at Dormy house hotel (at which the back garden is one of the 2 restaurants) We ate at the back garden on the first night Let me preface this by saying the hotel and the chefs table restaurant (Mo, which we dined at on the second night) are top notch - I’ve reviewed them separately also If I’m being honest though, the Back Garden was a bit of a let down Setting - lovely Service - great Wine and cocktails - fab I think we just made a few bad choices in terms of dishes (which are always subjective at the end of the day) Emma had the gazpacho - we love a gazpacho, this one just felt a bit thin and lacking seasoning. It was almost trying to be a bit too delicate I’d say the same about my starter, I had the hot smoked salmon salad - it just didn’t taste of much, needed more dressing. Just something to bring it to life? Emma’s main - the curried Kiev was top notch I had the roast cod in a mussel veloute sauce. Nice, but only 3 mussels? Emma didn’t have a dessert, I was intrigued by the sheep’s cheese, honey comb and Eccles cake dessert (the most expensive at £14) It just didn’t work for me - two small blobs of cheese, a small square of honeycomb and a small (beautifully baked) Eccles cake - it just didn’t hang together, I’m not sure what it was meant to deliver? We had a pleasant evening (thanks everyone) but compared to the rest of the stay we felt it missed the mark

I had dinner alone in a really friendly restaurant. I had a couple of starters to keep room for the delicious pudding! Heritage tomatoes with goats cheese were fab and the dusted squid was really perfectly done. The staff were helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Summer pudding to finish was one of the best I have had. Delicious!

This is a very lovely hotel with two nice restaurants/bistros. Staff is very professional and accommodating. Our room was well appointed and had a very nice view of the square. The bath tub was fantastic; although some nice bath products would have been a nice treat. The Spa on the other hand was a real disappointment. In my opinion, it is not a spa at all. It was only an indoor swimming pool with tempted to chilly water. There is NO HOT TUB. There is a steam room and this is about the best thing it has going. While I’m sure the Spa Services are really nice, I did not have any treatments, as there was no time in our schedule.

I was having my motorhome serviced in the village and had a whole day to kill. The leaflet was in the waiting area so I gave it a try. Lovely full English breakfast, cooked perfectly, very nice quality coffee and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Ordered a second coffee and hung a round for a bit with no feeling like you weren't welcome. It was so nice and the service was first class and came with a smile that a added a toasted teacake and a third coffee to the bill and returned for them early afternoon! Very reasonably priced indeed and an all-round lovely experience!

We had a fabulous afternoon tea at Three Ways House Hotel. The food was delicious - lovely array of sandwiches (including the creamiest egg cress sandwiches ever) and excellent scones and cakes. This is the home of the Pudding Club, so of course they do sweet food well. The service was excellent and the staff were very accommodating to the fact we had two small children with us who weren't eating the tea. I highly recommend this place for afternoon tea in the Cotswolds.

We've stayed at the Seagrave a few times, though this was the first for a few years. The room was stunning, a little occasional road noise but that's to be expected in a busy little village on a Saturday night! Dinner was brilliant, as was breakfast. The staff we spoke to were all friendly and helpful. We'll be back!
