Four of us came here in early November to celebrate my birthday. From the booking through to actual service it was wonderful. You can bring your own wine and pay corkage which we did but ended up just having some of the excellent organic wine from the wine list. There was lovely bread and olive oil on the table which disappeared quickly. I had cured trout for starter, hake for main and a posh Eton mess (my best description anyway). All the food was fresh local produce, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The most surprising and very pleasing thing was the bill. At around £55 per head including wine and service it was extremely good value for money in this day and age. I would most definitely look to book again when we come to Cornwall next.

WOW...the ice cream is amazing must go back to try all the flavours!!!! o and they do coffee as well.(and coffee ice cream)

Great little place. We were passing through so grabbed a tuna salad bap and steak pasty. Both very tasty and good value for money. We also picked up homemade mince pies and chocolate truffles which were absolutely amazing. Friendly service, great food and well priced - highly recommend.

Sadly no seating area to enjoy your purchases, friendly staff, and the pasties were popping hot!

Went to a friend Wedding reception celebration afternoon high tea. The staff were delightful and attentive, the sandwiches and cakes were super nice!

We had a lovely meal last night 3.5.25, attentive and friendly staff. The food was amazing - beautifully presented, excellent quality products and so tasty. We like the policy of no children under 7, the restaurant was busy with diners, spacious tables, wonderful ambiance and atmosphere, most definitely adult themed which was to our liking. A thoroughly enjoyable evening, highly recommend a visit.

A lovely birthday dinner with excellent food, friendly service and a really warm atmosphere. It’s not often every dish on the menu looks great but they all appealed. Every course was fantastic. Flawless. Will definitely be back to this little gem.

Great value for money. Food was tasty piping hot and a very varied menu to suit everyone. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back for another meal.

Absolutely fantastic little pub. Maisy the Waitress was perfect. Very polite, fantastic service and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed 😌 5 star from me. We had starter, main, pudding and coffee and can not fault at all.

Had a big breakfast. Food was delicious, very fresh and tasty. Only niggles were the beans weren't as hot as they could be, and toast was a little crunchy for my preference. But overall an excellent breakfast. The decoration of the restaurant was very nicely done, and made me feel relaxed. The farm itself kept my daughter happy from feeding the ducks and the pigs, to seeing the huge turkey. Was a morning well spent.

Me and my husband came here for valentines night and it was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing and the staff really friendly. We will definitely be back
