The best restaurants serving Default food in Hurley and Walthams Windsor and Maidenhead South East

Serving great breakfasts and lunches, with a very friendly staff who made us most welcome. Small outdoor seated area is great, when the sun shines.

Another day another bike ride and I am back at Velolife. Why? Simple great coffee, great cakes, great atmosphere. Just what one needs.

Proper English Country Pub serving great range of beer, cider etc. Didn't eat on this occasion but the menu looks great.

Excellent rural pub with a great lunch special menu. Would go back for À la carte.

Portions were small. I ordered the celeriac and the portion was tiny for a main meal. I got a slice of celeriac, *one* mushroom and some kale... that was it. Compared to others at the table who had big roasts. I left hungry.

Great real Italian pizzas and very pleasant staff. Shame it’s only takeaway as we go over from Reading. The pizzas are worth the journey.

Wonderful Sunday lunch. Fine food with a slight Indian twist on some dishes. Great service from our waiter, Tom.

A last minute panic of 8 friends looking for somewhere to have some food and a drink. everything happens for a reason and now I can guarantee we will be back. What a wonderfully friendly pub in a lovely setting. The food was really reasonably priced so I have to say I thought the worse but was hungry. Well as the food started to come out I realised I had nothing to worry about. Everything was dished up with care and attention and it was all piping hot. Not a bad meal among us. Everyone one of us cleared our plates. Normally I don't take pictures of my lunch but the effort that was made to make this prawn and avocado salad was amazing. I can tell you it tasted as good as it looked too. We also had a birthday in our group and the whole pub joined in with the birthday song. Overall a lovely experience and I feel I have found a gem of a place.

Very misleading ! There is a wonderful lake but this can only been seen if you sit outside! As the weather was cold we sat inside and it could of been any transport cafe in England. Not enough staff lead to 40 minute wait. Tables were left uncleared and could see in to washing up area which was a real mess. We were so hungry that the breakfast and burger tasted ok. Sadly will not be going back!

My mother and I had a delicious lunch at Waltham Place. It’s a set menu and everything was delicious and the service very warm and friendly. We enjoyed a very informative and enjoyable 2 hour private tour (£40 total for a group of up to 4 people) by one of the estate’s very experienced gardeners, Tim. The gardens are stunning and set against the backdrop of the beautiful house. We had a fantastic afternoon and will definitely come back.

Ordered from china One for the last 10 years. Absolutely fantastic, doesn’t compare to anything else. Their son now on the phone (most days) is a gentleman. For me as a takeaway in 10/10

Service was spot on so deserved 5 star. Restaurant downstairs was lovely in the evening and did feel right at home. Would stay again despite amenities not been the best ever. But more than good enough.

Delicious nut roast everyone enjoyed their roasts

Excellent food and excellent service - can't recommend it enough. The theme is 'fusion', but with an emphasis on Indian flavours - which are given a fascinating twist. I had the sole, baked in fig-leaves, which was one of the most subtly-flavoured dishes I've eaten for a long time. Nice to see a good selection of Indian wines, too.

Wow! Since a lovely young couple have recently taken over, this place has taken huge strides forward. It is more elegant and beautiful inside and has a great menu, with service to match. We went for Sunday lunch, which was to a very high standard. You can even order a bowl of meats and gravy for your dog, which our Spaniels devoured. It's worth booking ahead as it's popular!
