The best restaurants serving Default food in Polegate North Wealden South East

One of my favourite cafes for really lovely, good quality food. Lovely sandwiches and jacket potatoes with plentiful fillings and the most beautiful cakes and scones. All beautifully presented. It raises money for their charity which is a bonus. If you're a group it might help to book as it can get full up. Nice friendly atmosphere.

Absolute best take away pizza in eastbourne. Booked this for my sons birthday and had the pizza buffet. Aaron was a pleasure to deal with. We had breads, pizza and ice cream. The dough is freshly made and it was great to watch the pizzas being made and the dough being prepped. Really delicious fresh hot pizzas and I'm picky when it comes to Italian pizzas. I love the fact you can order as little as 2 pizzas and they will come cook them for you. 10 out of 10 mostro, see you again very soon!!!!

Cycled to polegate today and so needed a coffee so asked the locals if they could reccomend a coffee shop .they all recommended cherry tree .i wasnt dissapointed .lovely atmosphere friendly helpful cheerful staff and a gorgeous latte and cake .highly recommend this lovely cafe and look forward to my next visit ☕🍰

Was best fish and chip shop for miles

Without doubt, the best fish and chips in Polegate, if not the entire Eastbourne area! Hot, tasty, and fair value!!!!!!

The staff are very friendly and professional service with a smile and the manager uday is a genuine lovely person looking forward to my next frappe

Always great food from this restaurant

Been here several times. Will not go again. Don't order their king prawn dishes. They are obviously using some cheap flaky flesh alternative that tastes nothing like prawns. On one visit my friend had these so called king prawns that she couldn't eat, saying what on earth is this. On my latest visit with son we complained to the manager that this was not king prawn, he was very rude and said he would show us the king prawn. He then immediately made a flustered phone call lasting approx 15 mins (obviously trying to source a real king prawn). Then he brought one out trying to tell us they were cut in half which accounted for the two long (not curved pieces attached to a piece of shell shape). I tasted a piece and it was clearly not prawn but a flaky bland crustacean of some sort. The masala sauce for a biryani taste is sweet with little flavour and beware....check you bill thoroughly before paying. It's no mistake that extra drinks/food gets added as it's happened too many times. Things you send back like hot milk for a tea, they will try and charge you for. I didn't check my bill as we were upset as this meal was for my son's birthday and just wanted to get out. Sure enough we were billed for an extra poppadom. If you are a large party extra dishes/drinks added to your bill may go unnoticed. Make no mistake before the manager replies to this review...it is the EASTBOURNE K2. Oh and I had a prawn dish which they tried to pressure me to have as ing prawns, so glad I didn't.

Been a few years since was last year due to bad customer service, however glad we came back, from the friendly greeting at the door to the amazing Sam our waitress 🥰 change in menu and we had to take a doggy bag home 🏡 - we will definitely be back soon 🤪

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while. I’m celiac and have a dairy allergy, tiffin2go always take extra care with my order. They’re one of my few trusted places. The food is really good and the chef is lovely. We drive here from Eastbourne because it’s the best. If you’ve allergens I would recommend. The tarka dahl is something special!

This is now the catering facility for the Premier Inn next door and it is terrible. We had dinner the first night and breakfast for 3 mornings. Very limited dinner menu with some items still unable. Running on minimal staff so slow service. Overpriced for quality and quantity of food. Breakfast wasn’t too bad but again very limited menu with items not being available. No eggs for 2 days. Running on minimal staff so continental items soon ran out. Not the best customer service and felt like they didn’t want us there despite not really being that busy.
