Having driven past the K2 so many times and having heard many good reports, we eventually tried it out and have to say we were very pleased we did. Great friendly staff, nice decor and a very good menu. Staff were attentive throughout out meal and the food was presented well. Starters mains, sides and drinks for two under £65. Really do recommend this place.

This has become our regular takeaway delivery service now for our monthly Indian treat. The food always arrives hot and well cooked. The portions are generous and consistently taste so good. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time here!! First time for me and my partner. Service was exceptional!! So speedy but chill all at the same time. Always making sure you have everything you need. And the food 😋😋😋😋 wow!!! Everything tastes super fresh. With your drinks your get some poppadoms with sauce and salad 😋 and the prices are just amazing can't remember the last time I went out and enjoyed a meal that much and the bill was that price definitely worth a visit!!

A must go to place ,welcoming,tasty ,value for the money,have where to park your car ,great for leisure or business . Can only highly recommend

4 of us find here and have to say it was one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. The staff were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. First Indian I've been to that serve duck. My husband had the duck tikka starter. Wow, they were full of flavour. This restaurant has been going for over 20 years and can see why. Will definitely be back. Not over priced at all.

Great atmosphere and service was great. We had great interaction with the staff which made our visit here extra special . We ordered 1x bottle of wine, 1 glass of and a double spirit with lemonade which made the meal about £33 each for 3 of us but obviously It would be bit less with just regular drinks It was quite busy here on a Fri night so would recommend ringing up first to book a table like we did. Food tasted amazing and we will definitely come back here again. There's parking at the front of the restaurant for roughly about 10-12 cars .

If you want cold food wrong dishes and a extremely rude manager on the phone that blames you for his staffs mistakes and shouts down the phone not the first time i have wittnessed his poor attitude towards paying customers AVOID there is plenty of other far better Indian take aways that treat you alot better take my advice go elsewhere.

Never disappoints always a great place for a night out

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in years. The food and service is fantastic. It serves traditional dishes that I remember from 45 years ago, in a modern atmosphere.

Takeaway I ordered a lovely chicken dansak with onion baji's and poppadoms. It was very nice and delivered promptly. Will definitely order again. Have eaten here many times.

Nice place to go for a curry always busy at weekends so booking is essential. Takeaways are just as good as eating in but your better off collecting as delivery times can be long. Best place for a curry in hailsham

We ordered a take away from k2 - well. We was told 45 minutes to 1 hours, great. 1.5 hours later, no food. I called the restaurant and confronted the lady on the phone to get the response - I don’t knew what to say and then she hung up on me. Great customer service! The food then arrived 20 minutes later via one of the waitresses not the usual delivery drivers, opened the food up and it was cold. We waited so long for this food which we were so excited for, for it to be cold. We then called back up and spoke to a bloke regarding the food issue and he said someone would call us back, 1 week later, nothing still from the restaurant. Genuinely diabolical, don’t order from here! They are a shambles!

Tuesday night and it was packed. Fabulous food, great atmosphere, good service food just delicious.

Made a telephone booking and said we would be twenty to thirty minutes. Drove all the way to Hailsham as was recommended to give this place a try. When we arrived we were told that our table had been taken by someone else and we would have to wait. Front of house Had to go off and check we had called which we had. Shocking way to treat a new customer and won’t be returning. Terrible customer service and a rude manager who didn’t really care about us. Don’t bother folks if that’s the way they treat people.

My good was ok everyone else love there.

Not sure what has happened here recently but the food used to be consistently good, tonight I ordered a few dishes and a chicken tikka mossala (madras hot) for my partner as that’s the only dish she likes. Collected and returned home to find they’ve not spiced it up, called up and the person on the phone tried to fob me off. Went back and collected a new one, to eventually get home and our dinners have just been spiced with cayenne pepper and tasted vile. We are regulars here and safe to say we won’t be back.

Went there last night (31st December) WOW the staff are amazing one young man Ali went above and beyond to help me ( I'm disabled) his attention was impeccable. The food was lovely. Will be going back back soon. Thank you for a lovely time

Visiting family near by we collected a substantial takeaway order . Good size portions with quality meat and fish . Nothing was greasy at all like some places . large crispy onion bhaji. Best Indian food in a long time , full of flavour and each dish was as it’s meant to be . Will definitely be back

Truth be told we tried 6 other Indians but the food was just not at the level that K2 are at - this is the best Indian take away in Eastbourne and surrounding areas and if you don't agree then I really don't think you have eaten enough Indian takeaways

Food was good, service was excellent

I went here last night and had a really lovely evening. I had lamb tikka korai which was so tasty 😋 I also had saag paneer which I was a little bit with (hence 4 stars instead of 5) the reason being that in the past, it has been with big bits of cheese which I have really enjoy. Unfortunately this didn't have that and was more of a paste. Having said this, I will definitely be coming here again as on the whole the food is lovely as well as the staff.

Food was amazing 😋 It arrived early ,was piping hot and was absolutely delicious with no spillage in the bag. Well worth the money.

Lovely place for a Indian meal food ok. But the service was very slow due to priority given to takeaway orders leaving restaurant diners waiting long time for there food ie ( hour and a half).

I’m sharing my friends and my own opinion regarding K2.. last week we went out for a dinner and the food was ok, nothing to complain. But the waitress that was walking behind us forward and back and again.. and so on,.. made us feel he is watching us or guarding the entrance ?! We had plans for a cup off coffee or something sweet after our dinner, but we went out as didn’t want to spent our time there anymore. The waitress should give the time for guests and let them eat in peace .. not disturbing by walking by at all times, no meaning, making unnecessary move there

First time me and my partner went last night. Incredible service, the food was delicious with plenty of dishes to choose from. The flavours were immense! The staff were all extremely polite, professional with excellent customer care. The best thing is the price, for what you receive for the money you pay is second to none! Over the moon with the entire night, can't wait to visit again. We've found our new Indian, if you haven't tried it, go!

Had a meal for 4 people on Monday 5th Sept 22. The food was delicious, the staff were attentive, quick and efficient. There was a lovely calm atmosphere and standards of cleanliness were outstanding. Will definitely be going again. Well done! 👏

We have been to the K2 on many occasions, our last visit will be our last. The Food was bland. We had the set meal for two chicken tikka starter dry, the chicken was hard in both Curry's and had a taste to it I cannot describe. Waiting staff did not know how to handle situation. Ended up with me paying a bill for food that was not eaten and going home hungry! I contacted the restaurant later that night to advise the owner/ manager that the service and handling of complaint were not up to usual expectations but as yet have received no reply. The restaurant has definitely gone down hill and we will not be returning.

Ordered for delivery, had no problems with that side of things. But the “king prawn” jalfrezi was actually crawfish jalfrezi…. Chicken tikka Kashmiri had literally zero flavour to it, not even the chicken tasted of anything it just tasted like cardboard and was actually quite gritty. Rice was also gritty and in places quite mushy.

We enjoyed the food, we had started going most Sundays as they had a Sunday deal main,side & naan bread for £14.95...till 5 weeks into coming a new member of staff there as soon as we sat down told us we weren’t allowed to share the main meals in the offer (we shared some between our children as they wouldn’t eat a whole dish) to which I couldn’t believe, we decided to stay anyway and had lots of wastage as we told them there would be.we know what ourselves and children can manage to eat. Had the bill at the end and when we looked at it they had charged us for drinks we hadn’t even had and instead of the meal deal they charged us seperatly each dish so it worked out a lot more expensive!! Felt like it was all about what money they can make If we want to share a dish between our children we should be allowed to otherwise Wer paying for food that we know will be wasted. Felt very awkward and annoyed! Won’t be coming here again!

As a person with a walking stick (due to health reasons) the staff here were very accommodating! I always have lamb biryani,saag paneer and onion bhajis at most Indian restaurants I go to. I couldn't find any faults with these dishes here! As a chef myself, I would recommend here to my fellow chefs!

Ordered a takeaway for the second time and the service was even worse than the first time. After 2 hours wait they said that our order had been left off the delivery. This was even worse than the first effort that took a mere 1 hour and 45 minutes. The takeaway delivery service is the worst I have ever come across and I have ordered takeaways for over 30 years.

Ordered at 6.30 for delivery at 7.30 , just driven over to restaurant to cancel order! Waste of time, I’d rather they had said unable to fulfil tonight as too busy, can’t afford to turn trade away…..won’t ever use again!

We preordered online earlier in the day for delivery at 7:30pm that evening. The delivery arrived 40 minutes late - not impressed. Food good once order arrived but we were all starving by that point and would have enjoyed it anyway!

10 of us went, restaurant very busy and staff very attentive. Good size portions and quality. It's definitely worth going to if your in the area.

Great food, very popular restaurant, need to allow time for home deliveries (they are that popular) so order well in advance to give the kitchen staff a chance with a realistic time. Don't let the boss fob you off with, the driver left 5 minutes ago, when I was still standing in front of him, I hate that because it makes the driver look bad instead of the bossman, hint, hint.

It was the first time we had visited K2 and we will definitely be back. The food was exceptional. We took advantage of the Sunday offer they do which includes a poppadom, main, rice and a side. All that for less than £13 per person. Excellent value for such lovely food.

We ordered our first family takeaway from K2 Indian Restaurant last night and were very impressed with the taste and quality of the food, the large portions and reasonable price plus the meals were piping hot. What amazed me the most was that we ordered at peek time on a Friday evening, they gave us forty minutes delivery time and it turned up in twenty and the delivery driver was very friendly. We're looking forward to ordering again soon. Easy to order from website and clear. Highly recommended.

Food was mediocre, bland Rogan curry which was laiden with far too much tomato, no depth of flavour at all, bombay aloo (potato) was quite salty also? Delivery was due according to auto generated email, 7:14 but food did not arrive until nearly 8:30. Would not order again based on.

Absolutely love this place! Lovely staff, beautiful restaurant and the food is fabulous, best Curry house l have been to in years! Try the lime pickle if you never have before because here it is really lovely. And the Lamb shank is just beautiful.

Food is generally good, but their delivery service leaves a lot to be desired. The worst example of this was last weekend (25th September). We booked online and the confirmation email showed a delivery time of about 45 minutes which was fine. Nearly 2 hours later and no sign of it. My wife had to drive there, to discover they were only just boxing it up, so it would have been a further 20-30 minutes on top. It looked like the person behind the bar was ignoring the phone, which was why our attempts for 30-40 minutes to phone them resulted in it either engaged or just ringing. They threw in a bottle of house red wine, which you would get from them anyway if you had picked it up and it was > £50. Not impressed. Will be avoiding them for a while, especially on a Saturday.

Despite my order being late, after estimated times and phoning the restaurant, it was well worth the wait the food was hot and very tasty best Indian I've found near to polegate since I moved here just disappointed in the time of arrival,

When we arrived we asked if we could use our gourmet society card, the owner said they had discontinued it, but he would honour it as it had not been removed from the gourmet society website, which was very good of him.We both had the K2 house special which was excellent, my wife had the chicken and I had the lamb it was cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce with a hint of mango. Also the wine was reasonably priced. Service was good and we were made to feel welcome.We will definitely be going back.

Our takeaway this evening was overcooked, greasy and not edible. We contacted the shop in regards to being unhappy with our meal as we have previously had nice food from here. However the manager was very rude and blamed the bad food on us usually ordering different curries that are spicy! He then promised to investigate and call back which he never did. I wouldn't recommend as very disappointed.

Absolutely loved our food, as veggies there was plenty of options and all delicious. Staff were super friendly, really nice inside and honestly one of the best curries we've had in a long time (coming from someone who lived in East London and Leicester, we've had good curries in our time!). Looking forward to going again and trying other things on the menu.

The food was nice, the Lamb Dhansak was good, it was a good level of heat and the flavour was (although not very pronounced), good. The lamb was also cooked well, nice and soft. The Chicken Bhuna was alright, according to my partner. Unfortunately the poppadom wasn’t crisp and dry, it was somewhat soggy, and chewy, and the naan wasn’t cooked well either. Enough compliments and mentioning the food, here’s the spicy details. As shown in the photo, we ordered our food via UberEats at 5:47 PM. I was in a rush as I had a train to catch to get back home, and if I missed that train I wouldn’t have made it home that evening, so we were sure to order ASAP. I saw it would take around an hour to be delivered, which was fine by me. OUR FOOD ARRIVED AT 7:30 PM! Just to clarify, I had to leave at 8! After about 45 minutes of seeing no updates on the app, we called and asked how long it would be. First time we called, 6:30, they said the food had just left, and would be there soon. It’s a 5 minute drive away. Nothing. 10 minutes later, called them again, said the food left 10 minutes ago and will be there soon. And repeat, but this time, said the food is just leaving now. Bear in mind, that’s about 15 minutes after they said it would be there at the latest. Repeat again, this time they said it left 15 minutes ago. After an hour of calling, each time they said the food had practically just left, it FINALLY arrived. We were starving, and I was going to be late. Funny thing is, the food was hot. Boiling hot, as though it had only just left the restaurant. So, either the delivery driver went for an hour long cruise and neglected to tell anybody, and has an entire oven in their car. Or, the restaurant was lying to us, and blaming it on UberEats giving us an inaccurate delivery time. You choose which is more likely :) Not ordering from them again, that’s for sure. The Food was alright, but holy lord the service was atrocious. Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention that a decent amount of the Lamb Dhansak had spilled during the journey, which was not great to handle, there was oil and curry all over everything.

Ordered at 6.50 pm. Estimated delivery was 7.30pm unable to contact them via the phone still not here at 8.45pm. My partner is diabetic (type1) not able to alert them via any notes on the website and now having injected insulin in preparation for enjoying a rare treat of a take away he’s resorted to eating bloody toast. £50 spent on food for the family and no way of contacting the restaurant. Not responding to messages via website and no chance of getting through on the phone. Disgusted. Will never use this restaurant again!!!!
