The best restaurants serving British food in Polegate North Wealden South East

Rude member of staff serving, no hello or basic niceties. The other member of staff insisting on sweeping the entire room including dragging all the chairs and asking me to lift my feet around 2hrs before they close.

Dreadful menu and terrible service. Menu was limited to say the least and they didn’t have what I wanted. Had breakfast there this morning and couldn’t have poached eggs only fried, reason being ‘we only have 1 chef’ ……a chef who can’t poach eggs!!!!

Amazing Christmas dinner. Service was spot on, and the manager gave our son chocolate, which he much appreciated. Steak was cooked beautifully
