The best restaurants serving Default food in Tunbridge Wells South East

We booked a table by ringing, two weeks in advance. When we arrived the table had been rebooked by someone else. They had given our table away as we didn’t respond to the confirmation message, which they had sent to the wrong number. How can you get the wrong number when we phone you on our mobile, with our number! The waitress made it seem like it was our fault because we didn’t book on the website. They didn’t give us any prior warning as they had used the wrong number. All in all poorly organised and wouldn’t recommend.

Went in here today and got a breakfast and coffee. It was a really nice place to eat. I got toast, hash brown, beans,tomatoes, sausage and a latte for £12 and it was a really nice breakfast I'd 100% recommend

Okay food, not nearly tasty enough to make it worth supporting the owner. It is known among staff he preys on his young, vulnerable employees. Co-owner of his other restaurant is quick to offer cash for silence, cannot emphasize enough to support any other business

After travelling around Kent going to different Italian resultants, this is by far the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I highly recommend the tiramisu. The crescentine is also my favourite starter. The service is superb and I always enjoy my conversations with the staff. Just try it once and you will be hooked!

Superb, a fantastic lunch everything was brilliant. Food and the staff were superb. well looked after it was very busy. I was recommended to everybody.

Me and my husband came here for an early valentines date night. I booked a table after reading good reviews. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Even taking a photo of us abs sending to us. The food was delicious, we had starters, mains and dessert. All really good, particularly the crispy duck salad and the summer maki. We also really liked the Yasai tempuri. It’s the best meal out we’ve had in ages. We would definitely come again! I’ll share photos.

Super pizza and friendly service. Well worth a visit.

Really lovely service & wine selection, really reminded me of Europe with the al fresco style of this wine bar . My wife and I really enjoyed the reds & the olives we had with it ; really enjoyed it will definitely be coming back .

A friendly and warm local cafe with decent fare and abundance of charm. A beautiful location that will never get old. The brunch menu was very much that, with everything you would expect and although with tweaks things could be made better they were all really solid, and we did not leave disappointed. Decent value and swift service, meant we were in and out quickly. Definitely more a cafe and bar than an eatery, but with that in mind you should be all set. Definitely recommended.
