The service is unbelievable slow, I went in for a drink while I waited for a bus, 6 people Infront of me, 1 of which walked out after 15 minutes, 25 minutes I was in there, for a drink.
A few days later I went in for a sausage roll, again a handful of people waiting, almost 20 minutes, same lad who just wanders off at random moments. And today, 25 minutes for a breakfast roll. Maybe 5 people in front of me. Not Huge orders, maybe 2 items and a drink.
Awful service and it seems it's like that regardless of who is allegedly working.
I'm done with that branch. Probably Greggs in general. It's not as if it's anything special, salty pastries, awful coffee.
This is the main restaurant for the Spa Hotel - a lovely hotel in Tunbridge Wells. We expected it therefore to be at least good and cancelled a restaurant booking in town to try it.
There were very few customers when we went at 6.00pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant itself is lovely inside and has great views and friendly, helpful and good humoured waiting staff who were brilliant with our 4 year old daughter.
The problem is the food. It is expensive but hardly even mediocre. Our bread platter had bread that was so dry our daughter couldnât eat it and we returned it. My starter was a meat terrine that was frankly a dull slab and rather tasteless. My wife had salmon mosaic starter that again was bland. Our main courses were pork belly - with mashed potato that tasted like Smash - and a vegetable petit pain concoction that was small and tasteless. My daughter had âfish and chipsâ where the fish pieces were mainly a very dry batter like substance. Again she left most of it: I ate some to see why and regretted it. Dessert for her was fine but it was just fruit and ice cream.
So the meal was expensive, very disappointing and very slow indeed to be served - amazingly so when at first we were the only diners.
This is such a shame as breakfast in the morning is fine and again the serving staff are excellent. We will definitely stay at the hotel again but next time we wonât be having an evening meal in the restaurant!
Pretty standard Mexican fare but overall pretty good. Menu was as you would expect, food quality was good and decent portinos. Service friendly. Good value.

Dose not even deserve 1 star very rude to customers had a large (ÂŁ4.10)latte witch was absolutely disgusting when i spoke to the so called manager was told he will give me 30p back witch is an absolute joke and then refused to serve me like he owns the shop
So called manager need training on how to be with customers
I come here regularly with friends and our young children. Tasty, well priced meals. The kids meal deal is especially good. You can choose a sandwich or mini pizza, crisps, a piece of fruit and a drink. They have crayons and pages to colour too.
Discussing
We have had two deliveries from there that hasnât been great and not very warm so we thought weâd give it one last go and collect it so we rang and ordered over the phone and was told it would take 20 minutes when I arrived to collect it I was told it would be 20 minutes more!! When I was waiting I saw what appeared to be a dog cage in the restaurant but it was empty so I didnât take much notice but after a short wile the lady went in to the kitchen and when she returned there was a black Labrador with her !!!!
Itâs up to anyone at home weâre they keep there pets but itâs not right for a dog to be in a busy take away kitchen
Then I noticed that all the chairs in the waiting area aswell as the front door frame had been chewed quite badly as well

My son has worked here for trial shift, Absolutely appalling work conditions, The Team leader that was meant to train my son, LEFT and left my son with team members that not meant to train him, food preparation in tacobell is Disgusting, manager is never at this branch. Also, when signing forms for entering the job, the team leader was on his phone the whole time. Clearly, the tacobell company doesn't care about professionalism, My son left after the trial shift and never gone back.
Service was slow, breakfast arrived cold and we had to send it back.
Although staff were pleasant, service was really slow. No spoon or serviette offered.
Waited so long we had to order another drink.
M & S has certainly gone down hillđđ»
Ordered on Just Eat at around 8:15, order did not turn up until 10PM. Food was stone cold, the order wasnât even correct. ÂŁ30 worth of food ruined, would avoid at all costs
We have ordered from here on a few occasions purely because it does some decent vegetarian dishes. On each an every occasion the order always takes some time to arrive.
This evening we made an order at about 6:20pm, which was set to arrive between 6:45-7:15pm. On ringing up at 7:25pm to find out where our order way, we were advised it was on its way with the driver who had left 20 minutes before. Concerned the food would be well and truly cold by now I asked when it would arrive. Long and short of it, staff were rude, unhelpful and cancelled the order for no reason before saying we could get a refund through just eat. No explanation as to why the order was cancelled other than being repeatedly told they were âtoo busyâ. On asking to speak to the manager (who could be shouting âcancel orderâ in the background) the staff member refused before hanging up on me for a second time.
I would avoid this Chinese at all costs. Staff are rude, ordered delayed, cancelled and if they do arrive, are rarely complete with everything you ordered.
