Delicious eggs royale, perfectly cooked eggs! The latte was hot and hit the spot, lattes are often cold. Excellent fast service, and efficient staff.

Negative experience. Made to feel like I was an absolute inconvenience when ordering a drink at the bar was repeatedly told he didn’t have time to serve me.I was told I had ordered my drinks in the wrong order and that I wasn’t able to have a tab .This was in front of people at the bar which made me feel very embarrassed and prevented me from returning for a second drink whilst waiting for our table. Table was late. But to end on a positive when the food did arrive, it was lovely but unfortunately the day was tainted by the initial treatment.

Do NOT eat here unless you are ok with waiting over an hour for your food.... I asked for a refund and left, starving, after 1 hour and 5 minutes waiting. They refunded with no apology.

Fabulous village pub …lovely friendly staff and just amazing food…. Sunday lunch was a real treat , and we try to go to all the fine dining evenings… Kerry is a ray of sunshine and looks after us so well. A great mix of pub, village gatherings and fabulous food.

Varied menu, best pub food in ages, definitely recommend Staff very welcoming and friendly. Food very tasty, especially the Garlic greens.

Not much to say it’s a McDonalds. Food was very hot but it wasn’t a busy period. Staff and service was quick and efficient. No receipts in the kiosk which is annoying. Other than that it met expectations.

Lovely coffee and cakes in a bright room with lovely staff. We were welcomed with a smile. Great choice of cakes and delivered by friendly staff. It’s a great place to walk around for gift ideas and plants too. Hillier's plants are superb quality

I took a party of 20+ here today and 5*’s isn’t enough praise! The staff were extremely helpful, polite & friendly , especially when we had to organise enough chairs & tables. There was a good variety of both drinks and food & from the scones to the chocolate cake everyone praised the food highly! Ok so at times there was a small queue but that’s only to be expected from a popular, friendly and well respected venue. It just proves that JLP have the right approach with good food, friendly atmosphere & lovely surroundings. If you have to spend a few minutes queuing, then just relax & enjoy where you are! Well done & thank you to all the staff, we all thought you were great & will definitely be returning!

Tried to order another website and then got a notification saying that they are closed. It was only 21:00. So looked on Uber eats and it appeared to be open so I placed an order. I don't know if occasion at 22:00 saying that the food is en route but there's a couple of stops before me. Food arrived at 22:45. I knew at this point there's no way he could stay hot for that long. When I served it the chips were hardly cooked and not even lukewarm. It's like they've been fried for a couple of seconds and then chucked in the box. PopaDom's Was chewy. I don't think it will let me a post a video but the curry sauce was watery and tasteless, It was as if it was the scrap from the bottom of the barrel and they've just watered it down. Chicken was so dry I had to use all of the yoghurt dip and couldn't even manage to eat the rest of it because it was too dry. Really disappointed I've used Andover tandoori in the past and it's been fantastic. But this must have been the worst I've ever tasted a microwave meal from Tesco's would have tasted a lot nicer and at least it would have been hot.
