The Courtyard Cafe in Test Valley

Delicious eggs royale, perfectly cooked eggs! The latte was hot and hit the spot, lattes are often cold. Excellent fast service, and efficient staff.

We were very disappointed particularly with the service . The waiter couldn’t have been more offhand . When we asked for sugar we were told that it was inside by the bar . He obviously didn’t understand his job title . Our cake was served on a cracked plate and appeared to have been thrown on to it . The outside area has an air of neglect , most surprising for such an up market store , and given the very many coffee shops which have recently opened nearby

Bradbeers is a nice shop but this place lets it down..i am surprised . We had really awful cheese scones dry tasteless slightly sweet and worst of all no taste of cheese. Eaten on red plastic chairs and tables. Miserable experience with. 2 teas and 2 scones costing over Ten pounds. I don't usually regret having a cup of tea when I amlut but oh dear the money spent on near inedible stuff here would have been far far better donated to the wonderful Romsey abbey nearby.

Whilst walking around Romsey, felt the need for a drink and a bite to eat. Visited The Courtyard who were social distancing where my wife had a cappuccino and I had a Hot Chocolate. Toasted tea cakes were eaten and every thing was of a good quality.

We have had a few coffee and cakes here which have been good. Today my husband had a breakfast. Initially he wanted 4 items but they have changed it to a full breakfast. The food overall was tasteless and watery.

Good menu, nice location and great to be able to sit outside without people close to you. Service was good, food tasty.

Food so nice and the staff lovely. Would’ve paid more for what we got. Nice outdoor seating area. Definitely recommend for lunch!

We were two couples visiting Romsey as one of our party used to live here when they were a young child. We sat down in the Courtyard to listen to the youngsters playing piano at grade 2 to 8 levels. It was titled the "pianothon" and the target was to get 100 youngsters of all ages to play something. It was a great bonus. For food we all had a variety of ploughmans washed down with a couple bottles of becks and soft drinks. The ploughmans were very tasty. Service was also very good although we did have to ask for missing cutlery and other bits and pieces. But even then the missing items were delivered very quickly. The total cost was £37.80 for the four of us which was quite reasonable. A nice place for lunch.
