The best restaurants serving Default food in Eastney and Craneswater Portsmouth South East

Had a lovely brunch, with my family, at Melodys today. Portion sizes were very generous, and the food was delicious. So nice to see a genuine independent cafe, still run by a local person who cares for her community.

This was my 2nd visit of 2022. It did not disappoint. We had pre-booked the Christmas Afternoon Tea. WOW! A selection of seasonal hot drinks were offered as well as tea and more usual coffee selections. Next, finger sandwiches also with a seasonal Christmas theme, along with pigs in blankets and stuffing balls (served hot). Gorgeous scones with clotted cream and jam. And a lovely selection of bakes, which we had to take away as we were too full! This cafe really is a little gem. Thank goodness I don’t live near enough to come too often or I wouldn’t fit through the door. Loved it!

Ordered food came over an hour later. Had to call restaurant who blamed the driver being late who then I called and driver said food not ready when he went to collect. Finally when it came half my order was missing. Restaurant kept cancelling my call so kept ringing and they kept cancelling my call. What a Disgraceful way to treat customers Missing food and no refund And NO this is not a fake review at all!!!! I have been a customer since they opened. Update to the order, the restaurant called back and apologised for missing half my order to which he admitted they ran out of the desert I had chosen so was willing to offer me another to which I said yes that's fine. We'll, still waiting for him to come round with it, nobody here yet Rubbish And to top that all off, i had to call the owner to find out about when my missing food was coming, i was met with a hell of alot of abuse and shouty words from him only to find out he "didnt care" for my order as id left a 1 star review. Safe to say my food never turned up.oh well What a load of waste of time. Avoid.

It’s Mustard is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed time out, and meeting with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming ambiance. The food was delicious, one of the best Sunday roasts I've had to date. Sorry Mum!! It's clear that care and attention have gone into crafting a great customer experience. A must-visit for anyone seeking a friendly time out.

Just popped in here as was local to accommodation staying at before festival. Sensational little boozer with great atmosphere and staff were mega. Good to have chat with and just felt like a home from home. Cheers for having us guys and look forward to popping back in before we leave. 🤙🏻

Lovely restaurant. Staff are very attentive and food is delicious and fairly priced. Always recommend Thailand Café to everyone. Have both dined in and had this as takeaway, both amazing.

Went in there for the first time with my Wife for Lunch, great experience, charming staff, excellent food. The place had a very pleasant ambience, the decor and fittings were very good. It was also noted how clean everything was. Will certainly be going back soon.

The young girls serving were rude and clearly didn't want to be working, shame because it spoilt the visit. Smile and politeness goes along way!

We had a very short stop in Southsea and grabbed a Gyros on our walk. Very happy that we did! The guy was really friendly. The gyros was excellent, authentic and very good value

Absolutely beautiful food. Definitely worth a visit
