Lovely restaurant. Staff are very attentive and food is delicious and fairly priced. Always recommend Thailand Café to everyone. Have both dined in and had this as takeaway, both amazing.

It's cash only and no alcohol licence, which is surprisingly refreshing. Take your own drink in. The ambience is terrific as it's small and friendly and the wonderful cooking smells hit you as you walk in. The service is brilliant, prompt and freshly cooked. It's more like a cafe than a restaurant when you first walk-in, but the food says otherwise. There were three of us and we had four starter dishes between us. Crispy fried squid, duck rolls, chicken satay and Thai dim sum. All tasted fantasic, fresh and hot. This was followed by a Ganf Massaman curry and jasmine rice, Thai green curry and a Gang Panang with beef with egg fried rice. All were amazing. By far the best Thai food I've eaten in the UK. Would highly recommend. Don't forget. Cash only!

A lovely family run restaurant that, if you're ever in town certainly deserves a visit. We brought our own chilled wine and the restaurant owner kindly provided us with the appropriate clean glasses. Thank you for a super soirée and look forward to the next time I come south.

I am so impressed by this place, you really need to book as it's a popular find - and rightly so! Excellent food for a really decent price, byob is a great idea too as we were able to truly have whatever we wanted and cheaper not paying a restaurant price. Thailand Cafe and Takeaway is a gem. I had the fried crispy squid and Thai green curry, and both were spot on. The garden is a pleasant surprise with fairy lights and outdoor heating, making it cozy. The best part? The staff. They're genuinely friendly and attentive. I'll be back for sure.

Very basic food with hardly no authentic taste to it. Fooling ppl and ppl love getting fooled. Ordered rice noodles with chicken. Looked like the chicken was cooked for 60 years and the flavour of the dish was like eating without a tongue. No taste at all. Even the other dish I ordered was watery with 1 prawn that was not cooked properly . Brilliant. Spent over £25 for something I could have made myself and much better. When you order a takeaway you do so so you don’t have to cook and get to eat tasty food. Not with this restaurant and it isn’t the first time. Nice ppl don’t get me wrong but if you are looking to be disappointed on food then pls do visit .

Disappointing food and service. Pahthai had no table service last night so we went to this instead, saw this was rated at 4.6 thought it would be good..but it was a big disappointment. We ordered Penang and Massaman then two portions of coconut rice. Both curry were very watery, Penang taste just ok, but Massaman tasted nothing like Massaman, not that it tasted bad, but it just doesn't tasted like what it was supposed to be. The worst part is the coconut rice, it was definitely not it, basically like plain rice, we even asked the waitress to confirm were those indeed coconut rice we were having there, and we only got a very quick yes then she turned away already.. Overall those were some very disappointing food and service, that surely would be our first and only time there

Ordered on Deliveroo. It seems to be a Chinese run place masquerading as a Thai restaurant. Most of their dishes are drench in oil and lacking the authenticity of thai flavors. I received no beef in my Gang Massaman, despite the description stating there would be beef. I honestly thought the sauce was from a packet too. The cashew chicken was swimming in oil and lacked the sweetness that you'd expect from the dish.

Always a last minute date night spot for us. The staff are wonderful and the food is delicious. Very relaxed atmosphere, BYOB and cash only (cash machine next door). A firm favourite.

Always amazing, authentic, tasty food and friendly service. Great prices and you bring your own alcoholic drinks. There's an outdoor garden area that is covered with a marquee and has patio heaters in the winter, it's nice and warm 😊 thoroughly recommend the chicken massaman.

We love the Thailand Cafe food! Always consistent quality, great friendly delivery service and reasonably priced. Our favourites are the Penang Curry, the duck Pad Thai and the Massaman curry sauce is really delicious. Have also enjoyed satay, wings and stir fry. In warmer weather we will eat in their garden gazebo and bring a bottle. I love this place, the food is authentic, the staff are very friendly and professional, it's local and you can bring your own tipple. More restaurants should take note, this is why this restaurant is always full. Book ahead of time.

If I could give a zero star for their service, I would! Their chef is totally unprofessional! Customer service is something they don't care about. Food at times, is a hit and miss. Mostly a miss.

Very good Thai food. We prefer sitting in the back garden where they have a tent and heaters (at least in winter when we went). It’s a beautiful little space. BYOB is also economical.

I love this place! Take your own drinks and enjoy some lovely food in a pleasant homely environment, you feel like you could be eating at the owners house! Excellent value for money, and I haven't had a bad dish yet. We particularly like the Tom yum soup which has a kick, and also the dim sum. But it's all nice. We also tend to try and get there early as it gets full often, maybe pre book where possible.

Delivery quick. Jungle curry was just oily water. When rang to let them know i think i got soup by mistake. The told me thats how it came. Worst jungle curry ive eve had. Unhelpful service also.

Lo pasamos muy bien con amigos en este pequeño café. Todos estaban satisfechos con su comida. Mucha oferta. El café es muy básico y esto se reflejó en el precio que era muy razonable. Un poco apretado pero cómodo. Me gustaría volver o pedir comida para llevar. Sería un apretón apretado para cualquier usuario de silla de ruedas pero posible. Sólo el lado negativo no hay postres en oferta.

He tenido comida de aquí tres veces en 6 semanas y tengo que decir que la calidad ha sido siempre muy buena. El satay de pollo es bueno y también he probado el especial "Thailand on Fire", que también es fantástico si te gusta la comida tailandesa con un poco de una patada. Nous avons pris 5 plats à emporter de chez Thailand Café et mangé cela dans notre logement.Les plats étaient vraiment délicieux, authentiques. Ce sont des Thaïlandais qui cuisinent ! Nous les recommandons fortement !

Never judge a book....this place was recommended to us by someone. It's not the sort of place we'd go to normally as we normally go to large restaurants in popular places. However, having eaten here I'll be changing where I choose to eat in the future as this is a gem of a find. The food is authentic, tasty and great value. The Service was friendly and good. The restaurant is quite small so may be worth booking beforehand, they managed to squeeze us in even though we had not booked. A couple of things to note, they don't serve alcohol, but they allow you to bring your own (handily there is an Sainsbury local next door to this restaurant and a Tesco express across the road to purchase your drinks from). Also, they only accept cash but again the shops I mentioned above have cash machines. Can't wait to go back to this place it was so good!
