The best restaurants serving Default food in Carfax Oxford South East

The atmosphere is great. The bartenders and regulars are very friendly and didn't shy away from a random conversation with a tourist. They made us feel very welcome which prompted us to go back the next day. I also enjoyed the food, it was very welcome after a decently long day in Oxford. They didn't have onion rings anymore but compensated with extra ice cream on the pudding.

Super dirty. They don’t wash things properly. I reminded them. No apologies, seems like this is not the first time they heard this

You can't miss this pub. In addition to his wonderful atmosphere and attention, David, the current "landlord", is Spanish and very friendly. It can give you very valuable directions for visiting Oxford.

Tattoo barestaff asked me to leave after my food due to me taking some of my ecig.. understand couple of warning but after I order food. Blocking tab straight away. Obvious intentions. Disgusting and want be returning.

We usually go to the Westgate Nando’s since it’s closer, but one night around 9pm they sent us over to this one, and honestly, no regrets. We’re big Nando’s fans already, and this spot totally delivered. Food was great (as always), and the staff were super friendly and competent. Also, if you head in late, you might score a little bonus treat they’d otherwise toss out. (You didn’t hear it from me.) Love that Nando’s keeps the good vibes wherever you go!

Una hora después, un tipo al azar vino a comprar y dijo que no puedo usar el enchufe - cualquiera que sea la razón de esa regla, claramente no tiene sentido dado que claramente no lo necesitaban y no podían vigilar la política en ningún sentido significativo. Luego 20 minutos después, alguien vino y dijo que no podía usar mi computadora portátil. tampoco tiene sentido dado que había un montón de mesas gratis, y dado que había estado trabajando allí durante tres días antes y nadie había dicho nada. básicamente reglas tontas que hacen que los clientes se sientan inoportunos. no volverá de nuevo.

i ordered a couple of shakes for me and my sister and they were delicious. the lady we were served by was welcoming and made the shakes which looked as good as they tasted. will be coming again

Unfortunately had a really poor experience here. Staff weren’t friendly whatsoever, you get charged more by approximately £1 per item for eating in?? Despite not being given any different service whatsoever than if you were to take it away? School dinner type trays, take-away unnecessary plastic packing. You have to pay extra for soy sauce and wasabi…dirty tables, seats all stained with soy sauce, toilets dirty. Certainly won’t be returning here nor any other Wasabi for that matter.

Went to get a drink from the bar. Person behind the bar tells me, "there's no service here". Confused, I asked them, "this is the bar, isn't it?" They replied, "no this is a sink area" and walked off.

We enjoyed a very fabulous lunch here on our visit to Oxford. Staff good, especially the front of house gentleman. Food well presented and very good. Would recommend a visit but probably make a reservation as quite busy.

The store's website said they had discounts, but the store clerk told me without any explanation that they didn't offer discounts, which made me feel uncomfortable. Presentation: 2/5 Taste: 2/5 Service: 1/5 Value: 1/5 Overall: 1.5 Poorly executed franchise with staff who are aware website offers promotions withdrawn several months ago yet don’t raise to management, rather insinuate the website and customer are wrong. Totally obsolete customer service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Nice little pub opposite a lot of busy attractions. I really enjoyed the interior but the tables outside would be perfect in better weather to watch people pass by. Service was friendly and laid back. Beer was in good condition.
