I had such a fantastic experience at Tikka Nation in Dorking that I felt compelled to leave a review. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting – a perfect blend of modern, vibrant decor with the cozy comfort of a local favorite. What really made the visit stand out was the personal touch from the manager, Nikhil Mehrotra. He was incredibly welcoming and genuinely passionate about the food and the concept behind Tikka Nation. It’s not every day you come across a place where the manager takes the time to ensure every guest feels valued and looked after. The menu itself is refreshingly unique – a creative take on Indian street food, with bold, authentic flavors and thoughtful options for all dietary preferences. Everything I tried was full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. You can tell there’s real care and craft behind every dish. It’s also worth mentioning how clean and well-kept the place is, with a relaxed vibe that makes it equally great for a quick bite or a more laid-back meal with friends. Tikka Nation has definitely raised the bar for Indian dining in the area. I’ll absolutely be returning – and recommending it to anyone looking for something both delicious and differen

While I do agree with all the wonderful comments regarding the food, service and general friendliness I would strongly advise anybody who is getting sick to death of cyclists taking over a place to steer well clear. Sadly the cafe has been ruined by hoards of them who are not just contents with taking over the inside by moving tables about and shouting at each (other thinking they still have helmets on) but now lean their bikes up against the new Flower boxes, windows and outside tables making it impossible to sit anywhere. I do understand the financial considerations of this particular type business but as other cafes have now discovered this could be at the detriment of regular customers who will of course spread the word to others. Really sad that we had to walk away yet again today as we simply could not get to a seat either inside or out because of them so will not be returning.

Wow. What an amazing evening we had. Its so lovely as the whole family work together to make this night so special. The service is amazing and the food to die for. We had the most amazing night and one of their indoor events. We can't wait to come back for a summer one. If you're thinking about it, don't hesitate, just book. I promise you won't regret it. A real old fashioned long standing family bakery in the High Street. Never been here before as new to the area I was welcomed like an old friends. Fabulous scones and cakes plus other tempting items Will be returning

Delightful independent cafe in Bookham. Charming and friendly service. Had a scrumptious chocolate brownie and coffee. The savoury dishes looked delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely return

We stopped here for some food and we are very pleased we did. The food and service were excellent.

Booked for brunch—food was great, portions were good and everything tasty, but sadly the hot coffees we ordered were just okay (lukewarm and tasted weak/weird). Service was mostly great, apart from one server who was snippy and sarcastic after we asked for a drinks menu (there wasn't one on the table when we got sat down, and wanted to order a juice/kombucha).

Such a nice place with a beautiful garden—really loved the vibe. I really enjoyed the soft shell crab salad, it was super tasty! But for me, the rest of the food felt kind of average. We spent about £170 for two people with two soft drinks, so I was expecting a bit more.

Dropped in for cocktails and nibbles. Cocktails were from a limited choice but the staff were willing to try to make others not on the menu! Makes a nice change from a regular pub and there is a quiet sitting area out the back (with several parrots, most of which appeared to have been nailed to their perches!).

Greenwise is perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee and /or cake . Lovely cosy atmosphere, really nice , healthy food. The lunchtime options are particularly good and the smoothies are wonderful. The ( small) shop is good too, lots of organic & unusual things are available . Really love it here.
