We were a table of eight and we had an amazing experience at The Ruby Supper Club! The Anglo-Indian cuisine was absolutely delicious, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavour. The setting was incredible and cozy, which made the evening feel really special. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and it felt like a truly unique dining experience. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, I highly recommend booking a table.

Absolutely fantastic place for food and drinks. Service staff were incredibly kind and were navigating the tricky terrain with ease. My only critique was that the poppadoms were a little stale but the flavours of the chutneys and the poppadoms itself made this detail pretty negligible and I reckon this was highly likely a one off with the sheer quality of the food produced. With a table of 12 people, everything was handled perfectly (which I know is very difficult to do with large groups coming from a service background myself!) Jo and Ruby have great staff, great food and a gorgeous atmosphere. We brought our own blankets but we were very pleased to find some provided for us after an early autumn chill has come upon us in the last week! Definitely get yourself down to this spot. Good job team 🫶🏻

Wow what an amazing experience it was like something out of a fairy tale . Sitting in the secret garden under the stars looking accross beautiful Fields . Eating the most beautiful Indian food I’ve ever tasted every course was to perfection , a new explosion of flavours . As for the cocktails wow was they were stunning and strong , not like the ones you usually buy in a bar that cost a fortune and hardly have no alcohol in . The hosts was sooooo lovely the was very attentive and made sure everyone was happy . The soft music in the background. They literally didn’t miss a trick , attention to detail was superb . What a magical evening, worth every penny and some , I’ll definitely be coming back . Thank you so much for such an amazing evening. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

On Saturday evening, we visited the Ruby Supper Club for the first time, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences we've had in a long while. The setting was perfect—nestled in a charming little corner adorned with fairy lights. The food was exceptional; compliments to the chef for every course. The staff were incredibly friendly and cheerful, always eager to assist whenever needed. We will definitely be hurrying back at the first opportunity!

Its a beautiful location but sadly the service is not what it used to be like 😕 .The food was good, not amazing but you are not given a drinks menu and beware they are very expensive with a 15% service charge on top.

Terrible. A group of 30 of us, aged 55-65 (make of that what you will) arrived at 7pm for a 7.45 sit down. The first 'course' was brought out at 7.20 before some had arrived. Drinks orders were completely mismanaged with staff coming back asking what have we ordered. The next course of poppadoms and chutney didn't arrive until 8.45pm, by which time it was getting rather cold outside. 6 tables, served individually, I didn't get the main course until 10.05pm, which was nice but a bit on the cool side, leaving very little time for dessert before the taxis at 10.30pm. The only toilet facilities are one portaloo outside the 'dining area' which is impossible to see once it is dark. People just did the necessary in the field. When presented with my drinks bill, I declined to pay the 15% service charge and the proprietor went ballistic saying it was compulsory. I doubt any of the 30 of us will ever go here again.

Jo and Luke have created a magical bohemian space for people who love authentic and amazing food served by a family who are passionate, kind, thoughtful and welcoming. A must for anyone who wants something beautifully different. Thanks all (table 4 and proud!).

The food was incredible, the atmosphere magical! The paneer ruby murray was delicious and would highly recommend. We ate in the secret garden and even saw an owl in the field whilst finishing our cocktails. Thanks Jo for a wonderful evening!

A 10/10 here! Everything was perfect, the food was divine, the best pilau and paratha I've had in my life, the curry was divine, the setting was out of this world, twinkling lights among meadows and trees, so tranquil. Had the Ruby blush cocktail, which was epic! Everything was wonderful, attention to detail was second to none. This isn't just dinner, it's an experience and one that us utterly flawless. Thank you Jo for a beautiful evening.

Jo is the most incredible chef, her food is to die for! I got one of her food boxes of Indian snacks to warm in the oven and they were delicious! I especially loved the homemade mint sauce and samosa’s! It’s the perfect thing to order if you’re hosting and don’t want to cook but have something delicious and home made! Thanks Jo!

Dropped in for cocktails and nibbles. Cocktails were from a limited choice but the staff were willing to try to make others not on the menu! Makes a nice change from a regular pub and there is a quiet sitting area out the back (with several parrots, most of which appeared to have been nailed to their perches!).

The best sushi there is in Dorking. Such a lovely place to go to, and run by a family. It’s a real gem and beats all the larger chains by a mile. My husband and I order here weekly and absolutely love it. Umami’s sushi is always fresh, and the team prepares it so quickly. 10/10 🙂

Fantastic service, sadly my husband had some of the blue label in his wine which went un noticed until we mentioned it and I had a large bone in a small fillet of seabass. There was no apology, just a response from thr head chef of oh, that sometimes happens. This made me feel that we were there at their behest, not enjoying a relaxed Anniversary celebration as was intended. The waitress referred to my husband and I as guys which wasnt appreciated. Some incredibly odd food pairings of black garlic in a petit four and castel blue cheese and German sausage on a plate of Highland venison. It is the most beautiful building but I have enjoyed better tasting food in other locations. Sadly not for me, an8d I am classically trained in food cookery.
