Brilliant! Loved this 'olde mouldy' pub. Dan was a great barkeep and made excellent suggestions based on my taste (DARK). Word the street is it is owned by the patrons like a club or something and I have to say I was treated like one of the family and had a most excellent time hanging out having a few and talking Shte with the other patrons. My only regret is finding this place on my second to last night in East Grinstead. Next time I'll be visiting multiple times.

Lovely atmosphere, quirky character, relaxing atmosphere, the only place in town with good quality gluten free scones.

Nice food but they keep increasing the price every week and evertime they have new many male workers which makes the restaurant bit uncomfortable for families

This restaurant has been a family favourite for several years. The food is absolutely amazing and the best Nepalese and Indian food that I have had. The service is second to none. Warm, friendly and professional. On my recommendation, I went with ten mums from my son’s school and they all commented on what a fabulous place it is and how good the food is. You have to try….you will not be disappointed. 🙂

The restaurant has fantastic food and service. The portion was quite generous. We had a great time. The restaurant is quite spacious so I did not have to wait for a table.

A very nice cafe in the centre of East Grinstead - with a good selection of breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and more. The full English is very good, and good value too.

Nice beers food and dog freindly

Went for breakfast last Sunday, walked past a couple waiting to pay at the bar area and sat at a table to wait for a server that was nowhere to be seen. After, no exaggeration 10 minutes, we got up from the table, walked past the same couple still waiting to pay and just left with the owners non the wiser customers had left. There are two things 29 needs to know. One, first impressions count and two, there are many other places to go in East Grinstead for breakfast/lunch etc. I do hope that you rectify the staffing issues and this review is useful to you?

The roast dinners served were either overcooked or uncooked. The beef was far too tough to chew, the vegetables were either burnt on the outside and dry in the middle-over -cooked or uncooked. I specially said I was coeliac which the waitress made a note of. They specifically brought my food down the stairs instead of using the food lift, which was considerate but sadly I have had a horrible reaction, meaning my food either had gluten in it or it had been cross-contaminated with foods which have gluten in. So disappointed as the service from the waitresses were excellent and the decor and atmosphere of the pub is friendly, clean and warm.

Love this place. Went for drinks one evening and felt like I had found an absolute gem. Great old school rock music, lovely Japanese lager and brilliant vibe.

First time, won't be the last. Great food, service, staff so welcoming and helpful. Dont want to leave. Lol
