The best restaurants serving Default food in East Grinstead Town Mid Sussex South East

Very friendly staff, had the Chicken Shish to takeaway which was nice but very average, Salad could have been much fresher and the pitta was very plain which I could have just pulled out my freezer, the desert was a nice touch but a decent flat bread and a fresh more exciting salad to go with the chicken and rice would make it much better

Fantastic pizzas for the evening food at our wedding, professional, efficient and delicious! The team sorted everything prior to the big day and adjusted their menu to suit exactly what we wanted.

Brilliant! Loved this 'olde mouldy' pub. Dan was a great barkeep and made excellent suggestions based on my taste (DARK). Word the street is it is owned by the patrons like a club or something and I have to say I was treated like one of the family and had a most excellent time hanging out having a few and talking Shte with the other patrons. My only regret is finding this place on my second to last night in East Grinstead. Next time I'll be visiting multiple times.

The most delicious cheese scone ever.

This restaurant has been a family favourite for several years. The food is absolutely amazing and the best Nepalese and Indian food that I have had. The service is second to none. Warm, friendly and professional. On my recommendation, I went with ten mums from my son’s school and they all commented on what a fabulous place it is and how good the food is. You have to try….you will not be disappointed. 🙂

Was practically empty so we asked to sit on the large benches, especially as there’s two of them, and the old lady was very rude and said “no they’re for bigger parties”. So we had to sit in a grungy dark cold corner even though no one came in the whole time to use the large benches.

Love this place. Went for drinks one evening and felt like I had found an absolute gem. Great old school rock music, lovely Japanese lager and brilliant vibe.

Had a great visit to Twenty Nine in East Grinstead! The food was fresh and delicious, with fantastic deals like a burger and a pint or a wrap and a coffee. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for a casual meal or a quick coffee stop!
