Visited the hotel for a meal, food was excellent, service amazing. The staff were the most politest people we have been served by for a long time.Will definitely be going back

Probably the best Michelin ⭐️ restaurant I’ve had in the UK so far! All courses are consistently well performed (so delicious and well flavoured) I love the oyster and pork belly the most. There are also selection of bread and pudding before pudding (I feel so spoiled!) Keep up the good work and I would love to come back for more 💗

Great breakfast, this nice little cafe has expanded into part of Waldens old shop and also now has a deck . Been eating here for over 50 years under various owners and shall continue to do so . Well worth a visit .

My wife and myself visited for a meal and drinks to cellerbrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. Harry served us drinks and took our order. I did mention that I had certain allergies and was dairy and lactose free, so he spent quite a bit of time making sure that what ever I ordered was appropriate for my diet and even came back to tell me that he'd spoken to the chef and it was suggested that I change one item, just to play extra safe, which I very much appreciated. Our starters and main courses were cooked to perfection and our deserts followed on, completeing the perfect celebration and hence all I can give Harry and he's team is nothing short of the perfect afternoon which we will remember for a very long time. One of the very best Chinese Takeaways. Visited while staying locally on business. The Singapore Vermicelli was superb. I hope to be back again soon.

Truly excellent experience at The Sportsman. Yes, the outside of the building isn't as smart/tidy as it could be but the service was so friendly and attentive and the quality of the food was outstanding. We opted for the 5-course menu and were blown away by it all. Lovely to have a choice for the starter, fish, main and pudding courses because many tasting menus don't give a choice. Absolutely recommend and, if we didn't live so far away, we would be there quite often!

Always stay in a Premier Inn when visiting UK. The Whitstable hotel in being renovated soon. Usual hiccups presently but it will be top notch in locality soon.

Hardly any chicken in the chicken chow mein, spare ribs were cold, portions very poor. Phoned to complain and the kitchen ( not the lady taking the orders) said that all they would do is give me a half price chow mein next time. We won't go back.

Popped in for a quick coffee after being stuck in traffic. Lovely young lady, Lily, served me. I couldn't decide what to have so she recommended I try one of the Christmas drinks. Loved it! Will definitely be back when I'm down this way. So nice to be served by a genuinely friendly member of staff too.🎄

Worst place ever tried to go here multiple times as I am a a holiday home near by every time it’s closed and it says it’s open at the door and online useless waste of time don’t expect them to be open in this tiny village

I booked 2 nights absolutely discussed with the place cost me 159 for two nights 3 options on the menu no draught beer no wine range or bottled beer no air con does not say this on the website will never stay in a premier inn again if this is what there like totally let down and the food looked like it was from Iceland do not recommend this place at all

Although on their website it didn't say that there was a set Sunday menu ( I fancied something off the normal menu) I opted for a roast lamb! Totally didn't disappoint and made up for not being able to have what I wanted 🤣 Great atmosphere, staff really friendly, food and drink- definitely no complaints from us. Better still, dog friendly! Will visit again when we are back in the area.
