Booked and paid a £30 deposit for lunch on Easter Sunday only to turn up to find the restaurant closed with a closed until further notice sign on the door. No message from them to inform us. DO Not Book with this restaurant wherever they are now.

What a lovely atmosphere in this 1940s themed tea room! I had gluten free cheese and tuna toastie, which was delicious and my partner had the scone with brie and chutney, which sounds unlikely but I am assured was a great combination! I loved the little touches such as the 1930s door to the loo, period decor and the ration books on the tables! Will definitely visit again.
