We discovered Forget Me Not as we were walking along by the beach from Whitstable on a Sunday morning. We were hungry having had only coffee and orange juice for breakfast. We had just missed the cut off time for breakfast but they were very accommodating and agreed to provide us with a full English despite us being a few minutes late. The quality of the sausage, bacon was very good and tasted like they had come from a butcher and not a supermarket. The mushrooms and tomatoes were fresh (and not out of a tin). They were accompanied by baked beans and a fried egg. And to top that off the toast was superb, the bread having come from a baker. There is seating both inside and out and the staff were friendly. I would recommend Forget Me Not but arrive before noon for breakfast although if you arrive later, they offer a Sunday lunch. They also offer home made cakes and tea / coffee to take away.

A real and welcome find on our walk along the Saxon Shore Way, Faversham to Whitstable direction. The cafe looks like it has been recently refurbished and it was very light and clean. We were lucky as it was the first Monday they had opened. The two lady owners were very friendly and welcoming and both were happy to chat. The menu of breakfasts, light lunches etc was large and we had difficulty choosing! All food was delicious and condiments come served in little bowls rather than having a jar plonked on the table. Attention to detail. It is dog friendly but we were asked if we minded before a dog was allowed in ( we didn’t) and I think dogs are confined to a certain area. There is parking opposite and the cafe is a step from the creek . For wheelchair users and those with disabilities access into the cafe and the loo is easy. Seemed very popular too for take out and if I were staying at one of the local holiday parks I would certainly use the cafe for that and to eat in. Apparently they do a Sunday Lunch ( I should think booking essential) and that can also he taken out. Good value for money and will be a definite stop when walking past again.

The cafe is a small hut next to Walden's store and caravan park, there are a few outside tables and chairs and maybe 5 or 6 tables inside. Considering how small it is there are amazing things on the menu - spanakopita [Greek spinach, feta and filo pastry] Thai curry and fishcakes, delicious looking chunky chips [I didnt have any] we settled for cheese and tomato paninis, very nice with lovely fresh salad. The view from the cafe is a bit restricted with the caravan park an one side and the seawall on the other, but if you choose the right angle you can look across Graveney marshes towards Whitstable one way and Boughton Hill and Dunkirk the other. I must go back and sample those chunky chips sometime...............

We visited the ‘Forget Me Not’ café in Seasalter whilst walking from Faversham to Whitstable along the coast path, we were looking for somewhere to have a cup of tea and perhaps a light lunch before continuing on to Whitstable. The café does not appear to be large from the outside but has both inside and outside tables and chairs for customers. We were welcomed in and shown to a table for two and given the menu which we thought was surprisingly comprehensive. The interior of the café has a very welcoming and homely appeal which together with the cheery lady who served us made us feel very comfortable during our stay, a definitive seaside café. From the menu my wife had the tuna sandwich and I had the bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich, which were both served in thick sliced bread accompanied by crisps and a small salad. For a drink, we both had a cup of tea which was perfectly made and very refreshing after our walk from Faversham. The café has customer toilets if required and these were well maintained and clean. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stop off at the ‘Forget Me Not’ café and would certainly make a return visit if in the area. The only criticism I may offer was that the sandwich was so filling, we did not have room for our planed ‘fish and chip’ meal when we reached Whitstable! Very good and recommended to others without hesitation.

It is three or four years since I was last here. At that time, it was the Seasalter Café I thought I wrote a review at the time but cannot find it so maybe I did notIn the interim it has been rebranded twice. First to “Poppets” and now “Forget Me Not Café and Tea Rooms”. Seating is available both inside and outside. For its size the menu has a reasonable selection. They are also happy to vary things to suit specific needs and tastes. I went for an omelette and the others had different styles of chicken. All the food was freshly prepared and tasty but without the over long delay sometimes encountered. Servile was polite and friendly. It is now my nephew’s favourite café.It is just worth nothing it is currently “cash only” – I think the nearest cash point is in Whitstable.

It makes me a little sad to leave this review and in fact it would have been an even lower score if another of my party hadn't enjoyed their food so much. This is a cheerful and clean little establishment and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, our food took almost 40 minutes to arrive and, strangely, folk who arrived after us were served much quicker. I had ordered a jacket potato with tuna which I knew I wasn't going to eat as soon as I saw it. It was burned on the outside, then (I assume) had been reheated in a microwave and left to sit there in its own steam, on the wet plate/microwave dish. The white of the potato had soaked up the brown stain of the burnt parts. Served cut in two, like sad, soggy roast potatoes. It really should not have been served up at all. I'm sad because other food coming out of the kitchen looked rather nice. :(

Excellent service and food close to the seafront. Lovely to see smiling faces of staff and fun in a cafe.

We had lovely cheese beef-burgers and chips in this cosy cafe. Burger was home made and seasoned well accompanied with onions and good amount of cheddar cheese inside a sourdough roll with generous amount of well cooked chips. One word to describe "yummy". Staff very hard working.

We were recommended this cafe by a friend. We visited for lunch. It has a small lunch menu but had quite a few different dishes on the specials board. The food was all very fresh. We had a chicken wrap with sweet chilli sauce and a generous portion of chips. We are keen to return to try the breakfasts. It has seating inside and a few small tables outside which is great on a warm sunny day.

When we visited their had just opened for the season. Very honest staff, happy for any feedback to improve service.Lovely hot & cold food, limited menu but considering it is in a beach hut style setting they have done very well.

Under the previous owners from Essex this pub was amazing after the revamp, the food and atmosphere was fantastic and they got better clientele in. I've been back since under new ownership and the place is disgusting and full of drinks and louts that have ruined what was a lovely pub. I wouldn't set foot inside here again as it's full of drug taking lager louts who will ruin the expensive revamped decor. When I visited for a drink there was lads waiting to get in the toilet to have a sniff! Avoid!!

We stopped by for a quick lunch, I ordered a Jacker potato which was very nicket presented. The Burger and Chips were also very nickey done and very friendly staff. Very good prices.

Just terrible. But lovely if you like to eat while surrounded by the smell of nearly dead dog. (It seems there’s some dogs adjacent to the dining areas) And if you like rocks claiming to be roast potatoes. And no beef because there’s none left, so it’s microwave chicken breast cut into dry miserable chunks. At least the cauliflower cheese helped to moisten it all up. Some cool floppy cabbage finished the depressing presentation, smoothly gliding around the plate on a sea of vinegary gravy. Skipped desert (not that we were asked), paid and beat a hasty retreat away from the “cheesy dog” aroma. Now I’m no chef, but this place Is selling food for a living, which makes it somewhat important that you actually know a thing about cooking. I suppose it’s just relying on the fact that most of the customers don’t know any better, or couldn’t find anywhere else half decent in the town.

Visited bills for dinner this evening and could not be happier with the food and service we received. We were welcomed by a lovely member of management at the door and were served by Romy and Josh, who were very attentive, warm and professional throughout. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed, calm and positive evening out!
