Always stay in a Premier Inn when visiting UK. The Whitstable hotel in being renovated soon. Usual hiccups presently but it will be top notch in locality soon.

Premier Inn Whitstable, Rooms clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff very friendly and efficient especially Stephen and Lewis in the restaurant, Stacey on reception, not forgetting Thelma on the cleaning team. 3 night stay very enjoyable staff working hard to look after us. Great service. Well done guys.

We often choose a Premier Inn as they're very reliable and this one was no exception. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful especially restaurant staff. We had the eat as much as you like breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious.

Staff were very friendly but not happy at finding beer cans and bottles under a bed after paying for early check-in for a room supposedly just cleaned. Also, no beefeater attached anymore, so it's a limited menu. 2 pasta dishes, 2 type of pizza, 2 types of curry( but they had no rice)or fish and chips. Aboutb30 minute walk to whitstable harbour but easily done. Resteraunt staff were friendly as well, but even they don't know if they'll have a job if tge resteraunts are sold off.

Very clean and comfortable. House keeping were very good (Thelma) very good comfortable room. Staff were very helpful. Only minor point the car park could do with more lighting at the entrance. Otherwise excellent.

Paid for WiFi wouldn't connect TV didn't work had to move rooms. Food was disgusting, very small portions and overpriced. Only 1 choice of beer and that was bottled, warm and £5. £24 paid for a meal which would fill a child.... absolutely disgraceful 😤

Worst Premier Inn I've stayed in , and I've visited a lot . Initially was greeted with a squad of police in car park and corridor which the staff pretended weren't there. Got into room and found it to be a room with no heating or hot water, staff didn't seem to think it was a particularly big deal and offered us a storage heater or we could go home !!! We asked for a different room but they were fully booked except for the accessable room which I have to say if that's the standard offered to wheelchair bound people then it's just terrible . We said no to the room and luckily they had got the hot water working so we went back to the original after squeezing past the police in the corridor who then spent the night walking up and down with radios blaring and the fire escape door wedged open just to make it a bit colder . So not a good night's sleep at all but onwards to breakfast where they offer a full vegetarian option , perfect for my wife, but no actually they don't , it's on the menu and you can pay for it but they have no vegetarian options really . Tried to deal with the staff or premier inn online and they couldn't be less helpful. Sir Lenny you've done me a bad turn mate.

Shocking service. Waited no less than 10 minutes for someone to appear on the desk. Returned in the evening to find the receptionist wondering off to a room with a friend. Very strange place. Room was okay just run down and a little dirty

Premier inns need to have a fully functional restaurant or stop offering people "meal deals" The evening meal experience was laughable, with guests at separate tables laughing together at how poor the experience was. Terrible food prepared badly, half the tiny menu not available. Chicken goujons with no dip, told to use ketchup. Brownies but no ice-cream. Pepperoni pizza with no pepperoni on it. I felt for the staff, I was embarrassed for them.

Spent one night at Premier Inn Whitstable, and it was a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, offering excellent value for money. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the warm and cheerful welcome we received from the receptionist. After a long day of travel, it wasn’t just a standard check-in—it was a genuinely friendly and welcoming experience filled with positivity. We’ll definitely be back! The location is especially ideal. Situated along the A299, it offers easy access to London, but for us, the quick connection to Canterbury was the highlight. By simply following one road, you can reach the West Gate of the famous medieval city in just ten minutes from the hotel.

Hotel decent enough but they have closed the beefeater, the pub/restaurant is only serving a limited and I mean limited menu to hotel guests only, no draught beers or lagers only an assortment of bottled beers and spirits.....also a bit shocked from the young lady swearing like a trooper in the kitchen at another member of staff (08/10/24) sat waiting for my meal listening to the foul rants, think I'll give this place a miss in the future...I use this hotel a few times a year think I'll give its competitors a trial and hopefully their staff can keep their explicit rants to themselves.....shame really, I think whitbread are ruining the customer experience to appease it's shareholders therefore stress is put on its frontline staff, but still it's no excuse.

Stayed here as I have in the past. Boy have these places declined to a point of don't go anywhere near. No TV working in the room, staff couldn't care less! No restaurant next door despite all the paperwork saying "enjoy a meal here". Beefeater has been sold off and closed as has the Herne bay location too. Wrote a complaint and got a 49 pound goodwill gesture. Will no longer be using Premier Inn as obviously their good stay promise isn't worth the paper it written on. Just another big chain more interested in money than service to customers! STAY AWAY!!!

Staff were exceptional considering the limited availability of food and drinks. Madison was exceptional. It is shocking the way Premier Inn are being run. I stay in Premier Inns lots of times every year. Mr Whitbread should be ashamed of thr way he is running his business. Carl Daughters.

This is the best Premier Inn we have stayed in. We stayed here for 4 nights and throughout our visit all the staff on reception were friendly, helpful and polite. Our room was well equipped and clean on arrival and on the days we requested a clean it was spotless. The location was perfect for us not only for Whitstable, great walks and the castle, lovely to walk the gardens and free entry. Also great location to visit Herne Bay, Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs. Thank you to all the staff at Premier Inn Whitstable, we very much appreciated a great service 😀.

Typical P Inn. A little dated and noisy rooms facing on to the main road. But comfortable and basic.

The manager is a very nice guy, always asking us if the food is good and has a positive altitude. However, some of the staff behind the bar are just slow and don’t provide the service expected.

Had a nice bacon baguette really nice good price but feel ripped of paying £3 for supposed American pancakes turns out they are mini ones with syrup, kind of feel I got ripped of there.

Ended up in The Drapers Arms by chance, and decided to test their claim that they served the best Korean Chicken Wings, a bold statement in a town full of chicken wing restaurants and outlets. The verdict- they were amazing! By far the best wings we had during our stay (and we sampled a lot of places), and easily rival any I’ve had throughout my travels. Adding to the experience was the excellent, welcoming service provided by the staff. Really friendly and even added some extra wings as some of the first batch were smaller than they’d prefer(they did this without us asking and the smaller wings were bigger than many outlets serve as standard!) Great job Drapers team, we will definitely be back when next in Canterbury.
