THIS KEBAB VAN IS INCREDIBLE! The service alone makes me want to come back over and over again. The food is top tier quality, the staff have a good laugh and communicate to their customers really well. I recommend this kebab van!!!

Single night celebration stay. Beautiful room in a beautiful location. Very friendly and attentive waiting staff. Tasty food.

We went for the the first time tonight for the Thai Taster set menu. It was really really good, food was fantasic and authentic, and the service was 10/10.

Sunday lunch at the fox, the food was amazing, as was the desserts. Can't wait to return and try the soufflé which comes highly recommended.

Very friendly & efficient staff. All three courses were delicious, of adequate sizes & well presented. Will definitely be making another visit.

A beautiful hotel and restaurant , loved all the food! Breakfast , lunch and dinner were all served by friendly staff giving a great service and the food was cooked and presented well and so tasty. We will definitely be returning !

My second visit to this delightful pub. A varied and interesting menu with small portions being an option. I had lasagne and salad. Best lasagne I’ve ever had and most generous. My three friends had Hunters chicken, pork belly and a small fish and chips. All delicious. Well presented and the service was excellent. Coffee finally was lovely. Compliments to the chef and our server. I can’t wait to return.

Amazing trip to Jolly’s as always!! Had an amazing sausage and bacon sannie, with cake and some drinks. The hot chocolates were incredible we stayed for another! And the staff were friendly and welcoming as always. So lovely to see Jo smiling and being her wonderful self as always. Don’t forget to pick up some sourdough bread too, it’s made fresh and is fantastic!

Lovely relaxed brunch in the new setting at Worting House. New setting is beautiful with all the spring bulbs coming up in the grounds. Café has been tastefully decorated and we had great service from our pleasant young waitresses. Lots of interesting choices on the brunch menu. We had poached egg and avocado on sough dough and bacon and egg French toast. Both delicious. Looking forward to trying more of the choices next time.

Came here Monday 17th March fir mums birthday, 5 of us ( & restaurant owners). Not eaten here before, but I have to say ticked the boxes all round. Great place for ' good ' English pub food but up a notch. This was a Monday lunchtime, so was quiet but hopefully the same service, food at other times. Will be back !

I had visited the Sun Inn a few weeks ago with a friend for a weekday lunch and had a really nice meal. My friend had since been back with some of her family and had been very disappointed with the standard of the food. However I decided to give the benefit of doubt and booked for a Mother’s Day lunch with my daughter and her 2 children ( 5 & 11) There was a set menu for adults and I had to ask if there was a child’s portion of the roast - there was not. So then asked for the children’s menu which they chose from My daughter and I said we only wanted the roast and desert and were told that was fine. The meals were okay but not great. We asked to see the menu again to choose deserts. The children wanted brownies and we made our choses. The manager then came over and said if we didn’t choose from the set menu we would pay extra so we tried to choose from it but couldn’t find anything we liked so reverted to our original choices. The deserts were a long time arriving and my daughters was practically inedible. The children’s did not come at the same time. When they did arrive the brownies were dry and appeared stale and burnt. Neither child would eat them. On complaining I was told they would be removed from the bill. When we saw the bill we were horrified at the charges for really substandard food and service. We were asked what we were willing to pay and then told we could pay nothing if we liked as they ‘didn’t want a fuss’ and so we left. My main concern was for the young man that served us who was sent to sort the matter out and used as a go between and I’m sure he will have been blamed for everything when he was perfectly pleasant and helpful. The place is very much not child friendly and I would not return or recommend to anybody

Overnight trip over a weekend as was very close to where I was visiting. Comfy rooms, excellent service and decent grub
