Lovely relaxed brunch in the new setting at Worting House. New setting is beautiful with all the spring bulbs coming up in the grounds. Café has been tastefully decorated and we had great service from our pleasant young waitresses. Lots of interesting choices on the brunch menu. We had poached egg and avocado on sough dough and bacon and egg French toast. Both delicious. Looking forward to trying more of the choices next time.

Popped in for lunch after a dog walk...love that they are dog friendly. Ordered Stilton and broccoli soup which was lovely. However, a REALLY long wait for both drinks and food! Would have been good if they had forewarned us we would be waiting, and then we could have decided whether to stay or not. Didn’t bother complaining because the people behind us who did complain just got excuses (busy/lots of people etc) and no real apology. Shame...

Visited with some friends this week. Nice place off the beaten track, although they are moving next year closer to town. The coffee wasn’t great but the big jars of cookies more than made up for that. Good value too. Lots of space so great for larger groups to meet. Would come back again.

Took my partner’s daughter here after she had kindly shampooed my carpets for me. I had a panini and she had a toastie and we shared a pot of tea which gave us two mugs each. It was the usual good value but am looking forward to the opening of the new place at Worting House.

We went for a 'cream tea'. £15 per head. For £30 we could have eaten at a lovely local pub and had a glass of wine. Save your petrol. The food was mediocre and very overpriced. Mediocre coffee. Stale scones. Sandwiches that were pretty tasteless. Iceland style party food and very limited choice. Very overpriced. Craft/Vintage shop was awful. Again very overpriced items and nothing special here. Very disappointed and would never go back.

Visited here for lunch. The food is very good, the service on the other hand!! Two women where working here on a Saturday, mostly in the kitchen, one friendly and polite the other older lady rude. We waited 15 mins before our drinks order was taken then the older lady came over and sarcastically asked my husband if he was ‘ok’ he said he was,she then said they we’re not a fast food restaurant, I said I didn’t think they were, I’ve no idea why she was saying this to us, we had waited patiently at our table, yes we were thirsty as we’d had a long journey. As she walked away she called back to us ‘have you been waiting long’ I said ‘15 mins’ we should have just left then but the other friendlier lady was making lots of effort and had brought our drinks by now so we stayed. Like I said the food is good but the attitude of this other lady means we would not go back.

Last minute decision saw us make the most of the sunshine this February and we ended up here for a late lunch. Despite being near to closing time my partner and I enjoyed a lovely lunch. He had chilli and I had the sharing platter for one. Service always comes with a smile and a personal word and Athens variety of food is excellent. Although we have never attended any of the evening events there is a wide variety of activities and there is also a lovely gift shop. Well worth a visit.

We were driving near Basingstoke when we needed somewhere for lunch. I googled for somewhere nearby and this Dummer restaurant came up. What a fantastic find. A bit off the beaten track but SO GOOD! The staff were absolutely lovely, obviously enjoy their job and the food is good wholesome English fare and very reasonably priced. . The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyed by young and old. We would certainly return whenever in the area.

I love going here! So relaxed and such good food - real home comforts …. and seriously good cake. They often hold workshops too. I've only managed one so far and I went on my own but was made to feel so welcome

Went with my partner for an impromptu lunch. Partner asked for cheese on toast rather than Welsh rarebit and this was no problem to Sash. He thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a chicken, bacon and salad wrap with no mayonnaise and again Sash produced a divine wrap. Builders tea for the man and an Earl Grey tea for me. Partner also indulged in a slice of delicious ginger cake. This place never disappoints and food is always freshly prepared to order.

Popped by today as in the area and so glad we did. So tranquil and we both felt chilled and relaxed afterwards. We only sampled soft drinks, a (large) slice of Carrot Cake and a crumbly cookie but everything delicious. Had a browse around the little shop which has lots of tempting and unusual gifts. We then went on a long dog walk (the café is dog friendly) before returning for more soft drinks. Sash, the owner, couldn't have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely visit again.

Popped in here to try this place out. Location is a bit out of the way but that is part of the charm and it is worth the drive. Very friendly welcome. It was really quiet when we were there. Coffee was very good and the selection of cakes and drinks was great.

My family and I were visiting another business recently in Dummer Farm and after a long journey we thought we would pop into "More Of The Good Stuff" for much needed refreshments! We wandered over and having never been before didnt know where we were going - before we could go any further, a woman strode past us and said " if you were going in there, there's no point, it's my office, it's the other door the one that says "entrance" - can't you see!" In fact the door was open so no we couldn't see! Needless to say we didn't buy anything!

We have been regular visitors of MOTGS for over a year and would recommend to anyone! Amazing value for money and the staff know exactly what we want each time we visit! Very good for children with a nice play area and plenty of items on the menu including amazing freshly baked cakes.

We found More of the Good Stuff, although a bit hidden away at the cricket centre in Dummer and spent a very pleasurable lunch time having a small snack and coffee in pleasant surroundings. The service was welcoming and friendly and the cake delicious. The Christmas market was a bonus to look around and if you want to spend an hour away from it all, we would highly recommend you chill at More of the Good Stuff.

I have been visiting MOTGS since my son was born a year ago. It is a fantastic place to meet up with people for a coffee. Plenty of parking, great food and brilliant staff. The food and drinks are freshly made and very reasonably priced. There is a great enclosed kids corner and fish tank which are great distractions for kids.

I have been to this establishment on many occasions and can say the food is great. Sash serves a good slice of gammon in a sandwich, her homemade onion chutney is great. A varied and enjoyable menu awaits you.

I love this venue. There is always something new here. The food is good, the gift shop/stalls are full of things that make you want to get your wallet out and they have recently started running craft courses and so forth - one of which I am now teaching, and I have to say that I have been made very welcome and well looked after, as have all of my attendees. The staff are very efficient and informal, treating customers with a combination of very polite, well informed information about the food and products available and irreverent banter which makes you feel instantly at home and as if you have just popped over to a friend's for tea. You can choose tables or squashy sofas, which increases that feeling, and there's a soft, safe corner for children to play in, full of toys and penned in so that mothers can take their eyes off their toddlers for a brief moment and look at their friends. I wish it had been around when my two were toddlers - I'd have lived there.

Went for afternoon tea on recommendation from a friend but did not realise it had to be booked in advance! However Sash Newman the owner greeted us enthusiastically and over a pot of tea and some home made carrot cake she sat talking to us. You can eat breakfast or lunch here but let Sash know if you want something specific as all food is cooked at home. There are a couple of small retail outlets in the restaurant and children and dogs are welcome. Sash just wants people to enjoy themselves. The views over the countryside are stunning and Sash will soon have an alcohol licence to enable customers to have a drink whilst appreciating the view. This is a lovely relaxed place to eat and we look forward to returning here later.

Me and my boyfriend walked here on a Saturday, I ordered a beef brisket and a toastie, alongside two drinks. The lady was very kind and she brought out the toastie and drinks. After a little while I went back in and asked about the missing beef brisket to which they said they had now sold out of and was really apologetic. I said it was absolutely fine I can buy something different, however the ladies were adamant to give me a full refund and asked me if I’d like to pick something else free of charge. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful we were really appreciative of them!
