Fifteen of us booked to have dinner at the Farriers Arms and had pre ordered our food. We were delighted with the atmosphere, food and the way we were served during our meal. Well done and I would not hesitate to return.
This is *usually* my favourite fish and chip shop in ashford, we have been using them for years whenever we decide to get it. Wr heard there was new owners but hoped for the best anyway... My husband ordered a collection this evening, I'm so disappointed. The chips were so dark, dry and over cooked. All stuck together, the gyros was super dry, solid and lacked flavour. Absolutely gutted. Usually my favourite when we have it and now it's ruined my favourite treat dinner... Such a shame. Hopefully whoever the new owners are, they can try and work to the amazing quality it always has been...
We have just visited The Bell in Smarden for the first time since it changed hands last year !
We were met with a warm welcome and smile and showed to our table .
We had a delicious Sunday Roast , I had the Lamb and my husband had the Beef .
We had a great waiter called Grant and he couldn’t have been more helpful .
The drinks were great too 🥂
I’m so glad we decided to go there and have the Sunday Roast .
We will be back 😍
Many thanks
Denise & Bill
Weekday visit for food with family was very disappointing. No heating on, waited ages to get food which wasn’t good considering we were the only table eating.
Beetroot tart was a very poor standard and did not fit description on the menu, chicken & veg was overcooked with a measly portion of potato, burnt burger & overcooked fish & chips, only positive my daughter could have a choice of gluten free options & the waitress that served us was very pleasant. Such a shame as quaint surroundings, won’t be rushing back.
Got a delivery tonight, TBH wasn't great, not much meat in my lamb shish and was warmish, also didn't get much jalapeños that I asked for, sorry room for improvement.....

Badsha Indian Cuisine delivered an absolutely exceptional dining experience! I recently visited with a group of friends, and we were blown away by the quality and flavor of every dish. From the fiery and flavorful 'Shahi Naga Murgh' to the melt-in-your-mouth 'Lamb Shank' and the perfectly spiced 'Mughal Lamb Chops', each plate was a masterpiece. Even the 'vegan curry' was a triumph, and the 'chicken, lamb and king prawn biryani' was a true feast.
Every single one of my friends raved about their meals, and we all agreed that the food was simply outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome and enhancing the overall experience.
Badsha Indian Cuisine offers a fine dining experience that is second to none. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality Indian food in a warm and inviting atmosphere, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return!
Myself and 3 Biker mates visited yesterday and were impressed by the changes made to the place. Full of interesting Motoring memorabilia for all Petrolheads everywhere!
The young staff were friendly and attentive as well as being highly efficient in their jobs.
The breakfast is at the top of the price range at £11.95, but it was cooked beautifully and the ingredients top notch. Great Coffee too!
We had a great time and will certainly return.
An excellent Bikers retreat!
We thought we would try Mr Bean in Sayers Lane on our visit today to Tenterden.
A nice array of cakes and pastries. We bought our favourite, a toasted teacake which we usually have at another coffee shop.
I found a table for us but it was dirty with crumbs and sugar and rather near to the air conditioner in the ceiling which was blowing out cold air, something you would need on a hot day, not on a cold, rainy March day, as well as the doors being wide open.
I moved to another table but like the previous one, felt grimy and sticky, in need of a good scrub!!
The teacakes arrived. Large, with very little fruit, more like a biscuit than a teacake. Certainly not enough butter to cover the unusually large surface area and rather dry.
I went to use the ladies toilet, but only found a disabled toilet.
Upon entering I found it to be very unsavoury, wet floor and generally unfit for use. As it is the only toilet and obviously used by male and female customers, this makes it essential to keep vigilant over its cleanliness.
All in all, with the higher prices and the state of the establishment we will not be going back.
The team here are fantastic and very friendly. Lexie, sophia, Dan with chefs Lewis and James in the back, are super. These guys made my very first stay warm and welcoming. Thank you team horizon.

A real shame that unita4 is now closed. Everything about it was great. Good pizza and really good fresh pasta. It’s not clear why it closed either, it was always full when we were there.

They are SCAM. Ordered food online, took payment. No confirmation email, food was never delivered. Phone calls were never answered. Avoid this place...
