Unita 4 in Ashford

A real shame that unita4 is now closed. Everything about it was great. Good pizza and really good fresh pasta. It’s not clear why it closed either, it was always full when we were there.

It's amazing to have cuisine from Puglia on our doorstep. Unita4 does what it says on the tin, good Italian food at an amazing price. Portions are brilliant, and I can hand on heart say it feels like we were back in puglia, minus the flight. Its a real hidden gem and treat in the centre of Ashford, and we are greatful to have this on our doorstep. Experience Puglia in Ashford, You won't be dissapointed.

We (myself and 2 daughters) attended Pasta Workshop followed by 2 course Italian meal and cocktail. It was a present for my daughters birthday. What a fantastic evening we all had. Thank you so much Antonella for the extremely enjoyable, very informative and fun lesson. We all learnt a lot and can’t wait to make pasta again at home now we know the basics. The meal following the course was delicious as were the cocktails. I would highly recommend the pasta workshop and also a visit to the restaurant. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful experience and evening. We will definitely be back.

Great service, fresh pasta. Superb cocktail list. Small dessert list but all were tasty. Highly recommended.

Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. Starter, main course and dessert excellent. Relaxing atmosphere, really liked watching the chefs cooking in the "open-plan" kitchen. The fried panacetta to top my Strozzapreti was excellent.

Staying in Ashford the night before we got the Chunnel so got the bus from our hotel into town. Looked at a few places to eat but in all fairness this was busy and looked inviting. We asked if there was a free table but unfortunately not straight away, so we sat and had a drink at the bar while waiting. We certainly weren’t disappointed the food was outstanding, we both had a pizza and a portion of Parmesan chips. There wasn’t any room for dessert, but I went for a hot chocolate, this was by no means hot!! But I called over a lovely waiter and explained that it was cold, he in turn took this away and replaced it with a nice new hot one. All the staff were kept busy but very approachable. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant and when in the area again would definitely eat here.

Never, ever had a pizza here that wasn’t spectacular! This evening, the pizza of the day was burrata and mortadella, unbelievably delicious. The staff are always amazing, attentive and if you manage to have Simone, he is incredibly good. Definitely go here for food (or even just a drink, the negroni is fantastic). Never disappointing and always a joy to visit. Best place for Pizza in the area hands down.

Staff really welcoming and kind, nice looking restaurant and atmosphere, food was nice but could’ve been a larger portion for price.

Every time I go to Unita 4 I feel like home! Very excellent service. The staff is always friendly and nice! The food is very good, pasta and pizza! especially pizza piccante, my favourite! Simone is always smiling and helpful!

My husband and I had a pleasant evening today at UNITA 4, eating traditional Puglian pasta. The menu allows you to mix and match your pasta with optional meat/fish/veg, and I enjoyed choosing the options that appealed the most. The restaurant has a warm, unhurried vibe with friendly staff, who make the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Altogether a great night out - I would highly recommend this place.

We started the evening with a round of fantastic cocktails! These were all handmade behind the bar by the staff, as I was driving I had a passionfruit fizz mocktail that was one of the best that I have had anywhere. For starters we got these fantastic balls of rice mixed with cheese that had been deep fried, they were wonderfully crispy on the outside followed by the gooey cheese centre. After the starters I had the orecchiette pasta dish with pancetta. Looking over the right of our table you can pretty much see the chefs prepare the food in the kitchen as it’s all open planned. The food came out after 20 minutes of ordering and was extremely fresh, the pasta tasted freshly made and everything was very well presented. Unfortunately we were to full to try the dessert menu but there options where enticing, I think we shall have to go back to try different food and a few of the desserts! The service was extremely professional and they catered to our every need even through the restaurant appeared busier than usual. The service was delivered with a smile and a good attitude that really made the evening special. Overall I would recommend UNITA-4 as a wonderful place to get dinner for the next time you go out! :)

Brilliant! We started off with cocktails which we could watch being made. We then had an amazing starter of prawns, Foccacia Bread and deep fried aranconi balls. Mains were a combo of Tagliatelle, Pizza and Orrecchiete all cooked to perfection! Waiting staff very friendly snd nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend to all and will be coming again very soon! Thanks !!!
