The grounds are stunning. The manor house impressive. The Manor restaurant was great service but VERY expensive. The mains are £28 - £32 each and does not include the potatos or veg. The mains are very tiny portions. The potatos £6 for a side dish. The price is silly compared to what you actually get.

Staff were very friendly and checked regularly that we were ok and enjoying the food. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and a great atmosphere.

Eastwell manor and its surroundings are beautiful but some of the service here is jaw droppingly bad. To be fair the breakfast staff were nice, the trainee manager on reception was nice. But in general the reception staff ranged from indifferent to obstructive and rude. We were staying in a large party for my daughter’s wedding and when we checked out several of us had been overcharged for use of the spa. We were also ALL locked out of our rooms when we returned around midnight by incorrectly programmed key cards. The reception staff ( one guy in particular) had no client facing skills whatsoever. No apologies. No action to put things right. When we checked out it took hours of wrangling finally culminating in outright rudeness from the receptionist that had to be put right by the duty manager when he eventually deemed to grace us with his presence after about an hour of waiting around. Astoundingly bad service.

We attended Eastwell Manor for Sunday Lunch but because of the lack of trained staff and the bad management, we had an awful time. We were left waiting for 30 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order. There were about 15 different gins and 10 vodkas on the menu and we ordered a Hendricks and tonic. 20 minutes later, the waitress came back to tell me that they didn't have that Gin. I asked which ones they had and off she went again for another 10 minutes. When she returned, she said there was only 1 gin available. I then asked about the vodkas and once again she disappeared for about 5 minutes and returned to tell me that they only had 2 vodkas available. We felt very sorry for her as obviously this was not her fault but the fault of the manager. Why were the staff not informed at the beginning of their shift what items were unavailable. Common sense really!! We were informed that we would need to order our dessert at the same time as our starter and main course or we would wait "hours" Our roast dinners arrived and there was no horseradish or mustard or any other sauces available. I asked the man who brought our dinners for another drink and he told me I had to catch someone's eye as he couldn't take orders for drinks. When you actually managed to speak to anyone, they were very pleasant and we felt very sorry for them having to work in these conditions. There were complaints from many other people also. The lunch dragged on and I was glad when it was over- move over Basil Fawlty. is the restaurant closing down? That would explain why there was such a poor menu. The food itself was wonderful. What a shame that the management aren't!

Never had any issues with my orders from this takeaway. Assuming you like the brand, you shouldn’t be disappointed. There’s usually a collection deal to be had - check for posters in the window if you’re already in the area. Ignore any reviews that mention plates, salad bars or waiters, because this is a takeaway only Pizza Hut, so those reviewers are talking about a completely different location.

Afternoon tea was lush! Couldn’t fault it service was great plenty of sweet and savoury cakes and nibbles. Fairly priced nice atmosphere!
