We attended Eastwell Manor for Sunday Lunch but because of the lack of trained staff and the bad management, we had an awful time. We were left waiting for 30 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order. There were about 15 different gins and 10 vodkas on the menu and we ordered a Hendricks and tonic. 20 minutes later, the waitress came back to tell me that they didn't have that Gin. I asked which ones they had and off she went again for another 10 minutes. When she returned, she said there was only 1 gin available. I then asked about the vodkas and once again she disappeared for about 5 minutes and returned to tell me that they only had 2 vodkas available. We felt very sorry for her as obviously this was not her fault but the fault of the manager. Why were the staff not informed at the beginning of their shift what items were unavailable. Common sense really!! We were informed that we would need to order our dessert at the same time as our starter and main course or we would wait "hours" Our roast dinners arrived and there was no horseradish or mustard or any other sauces available. I asked the man who brought our dinners for another drink and he told me I had to catch someone's eye as he couldn't take orders for drinks. When you actually managed to speak to anyone, they were very pleasant and we felt very sorry for them having to work in these conditions. There were complaints from many other people also. The lunch dragged on and I was glad when it was over- move over Basil Fawlty. is the restaurant closing down? That would explain why there was such a poor menu. The food itself was wonderful. What a shame that the management aren't!

I wanted to treat my daughter to afternoon tea somewhere really special for her birthday. It was made even more special because of the exceptional service provided by Minay. She had the perfect balance between professionalism and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and I can honestly say she deserves to go far in her profession. Well worth a visit. Kind regards Jackie Izzard.

I had a voucher for my birthday to use at East well Manor for Sunday lunch . We pre booked our table months ago as we know sometimes it can get busy. On arrival we booked in and was shown to our table and ordered drinks whilst looking at the menu . We ordered our three courses the same time as that’s what they do here . Our starters arrived in good time and our choices were very good , salmon , soup . For our main courses a we ordered one beef and one pork dishes. We had to wait quite along time for our main courses and when they arrived one plate had no toast potatoes and they did not bring any spoons to dish the vegetables up with so had to use our knife and forks . After finishing our main course we seemed to be waiting ages for our desserts and looking around people who came in after us had been served and gone out . I asked the waitress about our desserts and she came back saying there had been a problem and they would come out soon . Basically they had forgotten our order and we had now been there 3 hours now . We thought this time the service was very bad even though the staff seem to be working very hard around us .

We booked the restaurant for Sunday lunch to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We have been here before a few years ago now. We were received at the restaurant and shown to our table , we had a groupon voucher which gave us a three course Sunday lunch. We had starters , main course and a pudding . The staff served us very well and the lunch went smoothly, the restaurant was not that busy when we arrived but was slowly getting busier. After lunch we walked around the gardens and grounds .

Had continental breakfast and 3 course lunch as part of our Champneys spa day. Food delicious as always and staff very helpful. However, noticed that the menu was exactly the same as when we visited in October. Might need to mix things up to keep this fresh for returning guests.

Been going here for years on a regular basis. It has recently been taken over and has undergone a huge facelift. It is now bright and modern with sports memorabilia hanging around the bar and on the walls. Rugby and boxing fans will love this. The staff here were and still are really good. Friendly and conversational when there is a lull in serving. Have eaten here recently and the food was good and at a fair price. There is a good choice on tap of lagers and IPA and beers on draught. A good selection of spirits too. Overall a pub worth a visit if you are in the area.

An amazing place ! Stop over before our crossing into Europe . We planned an early arrival but the M25 didn’t allow it to happen. Great warm atmosphere when walking into the bar to check in . Lovely host couldn’t do enough. Rooms spotless, food faultless. Credit to the owners . Wish we had a pub in our village that was so welcoming and upbeat. Five stars guys 👍

Myself and 3 Biker mates visited yesterday and were impressed by the changes made to the place. Full of interesting Motoring memorabilia for all Petrolheads everywhere! The young staff were friendly and attentive as well as being highly efficient in their jobs. The breakfast is at the top of the price range at £11.95, but it was cooked beautifully and the ingredients top notch. Great Coffee too! We had a great time and will certainly return. An excellent Bikers retreat!

Have eaten here a few times recently and can't make up my mind if it's a good or very good eatery...hence my rating. Although my wife and I have had very good meals, my mums lamb dish was inedible. I know because I tried to eat it after she left it. Even Jaws from the Bond films would have struggled to eat that bit of lamb. We did bring this to the attention of our excellent waitress and she offered my mum a free dessert - unfortunately that wasn't that good either, but at least was edible.
