Every piece of food on my plate tasted delicious and was prepared perfectly. It was too good to spoil the flavours with any sauce. Super friendly and helpful with delicious drinks to boot. Thanks to the Steakist annoyingly not being ready for an hour after opening I found this little gem. I’ll be back with a group next time.

We stopped in to check out the teas and came away with four! I’ve had a chance to try them at home, and being a bit of tea connoisseur myself - they’re amazing. They’re full of flavour which is great, and the value for them is wonderful. Nothing I hate more than a tea place ripping off customers. I’ll definitely be back to stock up on my new favourites!

Great food, great selection. We dined here twice during our stay at arundel. The food and service was faultless, we had sea bream and hanger steak one night and warm goats cheese salad and pie one night. Nothing is too much bother for them (we wanted a slight amendment to the sea bream). The star of the show was the amazing pie 🥧. 5 star at reasonable prices

On a blustery early spring day this place was a haven. Met At the door by Tanya, who was the friendliest person you would wish to meet, a good old fashioned Londoners welcome (one to another). Great carrot cake and proper tea from a pot in a china cup, just like me Muvver used to make. Mum and daughter make a great team. Spotlessly clean, which definitely makes a change from the chain owned establishments that are also in Arundel. Wish you both well for your futures in the tea room. cannot recommend highly enough, great place, thanks Colin & Sue (North London)

Went for a pit-stop whilst visiting the millions of antique shops. Fantastic quality coffee. I had a beautifully extracted double espresso and my other half had flat white with absolutely perfect microfoam. One of the best coffees in ages and brilliant attention to detail. Unfortunately all the pastries had sold out so can't comment, but will definitely come back every time we visit Arundel.

This place is hands down the best place to eat in Arundel the food was 10/10 the service was 10/10 the atmosphere was 10/10 we saw some customers travel from Lewes in East Sussex for the meal that’s how good it is, so we had pork belly to start and poached pear salad along with cod, hake, lamb pie and pheasant with a cheese board, date pudding, cheesecake, apple crumble. We were swiftly seen to our table by some wonderfully happy staff who were all so helpful our table was big in size which you need coat hooks right next to your table the cucumber water which is served complimentary is lovely and refreshing we had a bottle of cotes de province wine which was light and crisp and the toilets were very clean with lovely hand wash. The restaurant wasn’t overcrowded at all we will return 100%

10/10- highly recommend. Have been in for lunch before which was excellent. Today I got a takeaway sandwich and a cinnamon bun. The sandwich was incredible- the best of the year by far. Amazing focaccia and ingredients. It’s a lovely small place, beautiful decor, friendly staff, excellent food. I’m excited to try the sourdough I took home. Thank you so much.

We recently visited this Italian restaurant in Arundel without a reservation, but the host was friendly and quickly arranged a table for us, which was appreciated. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a cozy vibe that added to the experience. For starters, we had garlic bread topped with Parmesan cheese, which was delicious—a real highlight. I ordered the Pasta Alfonso, which was flavorful and light, just right for a lunch portion. My friends, however, had the pasta with crab and weren’t as satisfied with their choice. While I enjoyed my meal, I would have liked salt and pepper on the table or offered alongside the dishes to adjust the flavors to my preference. The staff who served us were friendly, but some seemed a bit tired, and the overall hospitality didn’t quite reach the level of attentiveness we’d hoped for. In the end, while I enjoyed parts of the meal, I’ll likely try another restaurant next time. This spot is decent if you’re looking for a casual Italian meal, but it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for a more polished dining experience.

We went with a couple of friends. We have not been to Butlers for some time. Was always good value for money, now a step up has been made. We went for lunch on Saturday and all ate very well. Compliments to the kitchen. Front of house service was seamless and professional, a great reflection of the management.
