A great place for ice cream. I had a scoop of cookie dough and a scoop of toffee fudge. Both were brilliant. There were so many flavours to choose from I just wanted to go back and get more ice cream!

The queue flowing out the door attracted me to this little tucked away shop of deliciousness. So I joined it! The range of ice creams was endless, but pretty much what you'd find in a well stocked palour. I was thankful to be in a queue just to have the time to decide what yumminess I was going to try. I've never seen so many varieties of cones to date. The lone busy ice creamethorian, although very busy, was so polite, professional, and friendly on my Saturday visit. Thank you.

I have been before and think that it's a great place but visited on Sunday for a double tub and the young lad has given small scoops which has prompted this review. The ice cream is nice but why have you cut down on the amount of ice cream in the scoops?

A great selection of ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes. Plenty of flavours to chose from. Friendly staff and quick service. You can sit outside and eat or take away. Would definitely recommend.

Everytime we come to Arundel we always come here. My boys and husband love coming here. The ice-cream sundaes are delicious. Loads of different flavours, loads of different toppings. Our favourite place to go for ice-cream 🍦

I wouldn't go back, the flavours were really synthetic and not very creamy, do generally a poor ice cream... I ended up throwing most of it away.

Disappointed that crockery , cutlery etc all plastic... In this day and age, dispite claiming to be environmentally friendly with no printed menus (encouraged you to download app for menu.... No available WiFi if needed). Banana split could have done with some mixed fruit... Would have made the whole experience better value for money as pricey.

We visited this place today (2 adults plus 5yo). Our order was completely jumbled up (wrong portion sizes and inadequate pricing) and when we spoke with the girls who served it and the manager later on - the sense of empathy and understanding towards the customer was non existent. Aside of the pricing and portions issue, the food itself was terrible. Microwaved waffles from packets with a scoop of ice cream and couple of sprinkles of chocolate - 3 portions cost us £20 ! we felt robbed ! To make the matters worse, and attention to anyone with small kids, after buying a box full of the sugary contents, there is no where... no where to sit down to consume it. It may work if you buy a cone of ice cream but not waffles dripping with chocolate and ice cream. We felt in rather awkward situation with our little one. We won’t visit this place again and also we do not recommend it to the others.

Best ice cream parlour around! Kids and Adults love it. Also do takeaway service.

Overrated and very expensive for half melted ice cream.

Visited today with my partner, served by two surly girls, repeat with eye rolls as we attempted to give them our order. Considering the price they charge, a little politeness and professionalism wouldn’t go amiss. The ice cream was delicious though. If you run this establishment, please educate your staff on being gracious, and remind them they are being paid, and to drop the tired teenage girl entitled attitude.

Came here for some milkshakes and they were delicious. £5.95 gets you a choice of four different scoops, cream & sauce. Lovely girls serving, cool decor.

Delicious ice cream! The Ferrero Rocher flavour is brilliant!!! And you get to pick the cone type you like, dipped in chocolate etc with decadent candies. YUM!!!

Popped into The Parlour for an ice cream as we had not tried here before one had a strawberry and rum and raisin both of which were watery and tasteless, another had pistachio double cornet, usually these would be green and nutty again, tasteless and almost white, to sum up very poor quality ice cream no flavour and not creamy in fact melting before we left the shop, don.t waste £4 50 for two scoops not worth it at all.

We were well looked after from a cheery greeting, courteous service to a Au Revoir. They obviously cannot serve a drink without at least one of their scummy cakes as due to their licence.

Very cool place. Not a classic theme for an ice cream parlour! Lots of choice.

They had a large selection of flavours and they even gluten free cones.

Very nice people that run it had parlour sundae fully loaded so filling really nice I would recommend people to go there looking forward to the next time only been there once can't wait to go again.

Just popped in for 10 minutes on the way back from a walk around Arundel. I had a Reese's pieces regular size ice cream in a tub and it was very tasty! My mum had a small Ferrero Roche ice cream in a tub, but she said it just tasted like chocolate ice cream with nuts. The shop appeared to be very dark inside. I could see they advertised shakes, waffles etc, but couldn't see a menu with these on, just saw a menu on the side showing ice cream cones etc. Maybe I just missed them as I wasn't looking overly hard. Overall 4/5 for the ice cream. Good treat.

Nice little place to pick up an ice-cream, good array of flavours. The prices are extremely high but you would expect this from Arundel. Be warned if you are going in there with your children there are a selection of cones on the counter that all look very inviting to little ones ,they are an extra £1,50 on top of the £3.50 for 1 scoop! so you end up spending the best part of £20 if you have 2 little ones and 2 parents. The Ice-cream is nice for a one off, I won't be going there again at those prices though. Do it give a try though.

Had a heaven, hell, mint areo and kinda bueno sundae. They all tasted amazing and look very impressive aswell. For the price you definitely get alot of topping and decorations. Like the idea of the ipad to look at the menu and most have pictures of the things aswell. Definitely worth a visit from all ages.

The quality of the ice cream they sell here is really fantastic. Okay so it’s a little bit flashy inside, but there is a nice seating area outside. Anyway I was focused on the flavours and we tried raspberry Pavlova, cookie dough and They were both fab. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Arundel can be a bit stuffy so this is a good place for kids.

The parlour in Arundel is a tiny little place that does big ice creams, there is a great choice of ice creams, sundaes & pancakes but to see the full menu you have to download their app, if your in the area definitely worth the visit.

Having walked around beautiful Arundel in the hot weather on Saturday we thought we’d have an ice cream to cool down. The Parlour had no one inside except several staff. As we approached the door with our 16 month old girl in a light push chair the first thing we were told was “NO buggies allowed” as we tried to get in. We were so shocked by this attitude and the way we were told, so we left. Absolutely dreadful way to treat any customers, especially considering they weren’t busy. Don’t go here with children.

We drove 30 miles to this place because it looked great on the website, only to be greeted by a rude woman literally jumping on us to get the pram out as if we had brought something offensive into the place. I understand if it was busy but it wasn’t and then when I asked for a menu to look out whilst we sit outside, I was told to look it up on my phone. There was no way I was going to spend a penny in this place. Beware, don’t take your kids to an ice cream parlour..... what a joke!

Amazing ice cream and great selection of fun cones and toppings to choose from, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area or on the way back from the beach. We have been here twice now and it's been great both times. Staff are friendly and service is good also. Take cash or cards.

Came here with a friend for the first time. It was a nice sunny afternoon so we sat outside. Very quirky decor inside and lots of funky lights for some good picture opportunities! There was one lady there who showed us how it all worked through the app and she was very helpful and nice. We had milkshakes which were nice but will definitely be coming back to try some desserts! thank you !!

The ice cream here is really good. Lots of simplistic flavours and more imaginative ones too. Also an applaudable selection of excellent quality cones!

Visited after so many people told me about this place,it was ok but the ice cream was nothing special,the lights inside would give me a headache after a while .very small inside with not many seats,there were also waffles,sundaes and pancakes on the menu,we had a wafer cone which took her two attempts to do as the cones kept breaking.Nice for something different,but I’ve had better ice-cream.

First time here as recommended by my daughter. I shared a banana split sundae with the Mrs which was very tasty, and my daughter had a caramel sundae which looked good, lots and lots of squirty cream all around it.Liked the themed wafer idea.

First time of visiting today... I had a banoffee cone which was nice and adequate. Unfortunately my partner ordered the Creme egg sundae. This consisted of 50% whipped cream 40% vanilla ice cream and 10% chocolate sauce which was mainly drizzled on the plate for decoration... a Creme egg cut in half was the best it got. Would have at least liked it in a glass or china bowl. Consequently only being classes as a takeaway premises this is not possible... Paperless... no menu 🤔 I get the idea but what about the existing generation of people that don’t operate a smart phone confidently? Reading the responses from other reviews I have no doubt this will be met with defence and “we don’t need your business attitude” seams no space for constructive criticism and most certainly no place for the customer is always right 😂

One of my favourite places to visit. If you love ice cream this is the place to go it is my No1 favourite for Ice cream lots of creamy delicious flavours to choose from and lots of different cones too My Favourite is the black waffle cone. they also sell pancakes and waffles with ice cream mmmmm

Visited today with 2 of my friends, this is my second visit, and I as impressed as I was the first time. Waffle and ice cream and sundae we amazing and very large. The decor is great, even has adult only section. Well worth a visit. Customer service 10/10, valve for money 10/10, music and decoration/lights 10/10. We will all be back.

So last night my partner and I ordered a delivery. Absolutely love that we can get these amazing deserts delivered with 4 kids not always easy to get out for couple time. The delivery was running late which they called to let us know. Furthering on it was later than expected and my partner called back we was then offered it all for free. I couldn't let them go empty handed for their wonderful icecream so did pay some.I highly recommend going along with or without kids to The Parlour but if you fancy a delicious desert in the comfort of your home get ordering for delivery. Some of the best customer service I've ever had. Thank you Parlour team look forward to visiting again soon :-)

Staff are rude and feels awkward being in there, when I was unhappy with the service I tried to sort this out but they just told me not to come back, the desserts are amazing but I won’t be returning it is so hard to find parking as the parking next to the palour is not for customers you need to find a space down the busy road, great ice cream! not great staff!

We have been to The Parlour a few times now and absolutely love it! I take my 7 year old son but when a girlie catch up or date night is required they even have a separate upstairs area for adults only! The treats are to die for and the service is excellent. Of course we will be going back x

There are no menus here - you have to download an app or look online. In a place like this you want to see pictures - choosing a desert is all about the visual!! The app or website is clunky as you have to kind of decide what you want and click through and through again to get to a picture... there is a lot of clicking which is just annoying.

I have been to the parlour a few times now. (probably too much!)

My girlfriend and I visited The Parlour based purely on looks from the outside and as it turns out the Sundaes are very tasty with plenty of food for your money. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I'm amazed that there aren't more of these around, hopefully we'll see one pop up further east! I've read some of the other more negative reviews on here and I must say the comments are rather laughable. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely amazing! Friendly staff who recommend things off the menu, which are delicious. You can customise any dessert/milkshake, and the flavours of icecream are really good. Great quality, big menu so lots to choose from :)

Had an amazing experience with the family here, the staff couldn’t of been more helpful if they tried.

We had a lovely afternoon in Arundel, topped off with a treat two icecream sundaes to share. I would recommend this parlour without hesitation. Lovely atmosphere too.

Always try to make at least one visit a year as sadly we don't live locally. Since our last visit there is now a lovely garden area out front and an array of new flavours to choose from. Spoilt for choice, it is hard not to want to try them all! I plumped for the Raspberry Pavlova and Malteser White Chocolate which did not dissapoint (along with toppings!). The Parlour is extremely popular so we were lucky to find a table over the Festival, however don't let that put you off as there is a takeaway service. Genuinely lovely owners and staff, hope to see you again!

My husband ordered a coffee ice cream in a cone and I then asked for a tub as I couldn’t have the cone and the young lady asked if I had allergies, I said yes I’m gluten intolerant and she immediately turned round and washed the scoop.

An absolute brilliant addition to Arundel’s restaurant/cafe offerings. We tried here with 2 of our children and will be definitely returning. The classic sundaes are the business and both children certainly got there fill. The “Death by Chocolate” was amazing and required a trip to the gym today to run off some of the calories. Make sure you have your mobile phone as you will need to download the app to access the full menu.

We went along in the evening for dessert- amazing choice! We only discovered it a few weeks ago, and had to come back to sample more. The range of options available is huge, and the choice of flavours is also impressive. Two of our parties chose sundaes, and they arrived promptly, looking spectacular! The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were treated to a short background of the history of the shop. All the chosen desserts were delicious, and I'm taking friends back to try more. Twice in one week!

The Parlour Arundel Arundel Oh my, we used to travel from Worthing to Brighton, to visit another establishment for celebratory waffles crepes and creamy cream things but not now, The Parlour in Arundel will be our go to place,

The ice cream here is delicious. Loads of flavours to try and some really different options too. The Cherry and Custard flavour was particularly delicious! Highly recommended. Very friendly staff.

Best place ever for ice cream, waffles and pancakes. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Menu can be changed to suit gluten free available.

Went to this place last weekend was amazing Great service and the sundaes were to die for!! We will be back to sample the waffles next month once the calorie count has been burnt off! AMAZING place highly recommend! See you soon!

I have been several times now and will just keep coming back. It's not just great ice cream but great service and atmosphere. I want to make the effort to go to one of their bingo nights very soon as that seems amazing!

Came here and had the nutella pancakes for around £6.50 each. The portions are so huge I couldn't even finish it!

There were 4 in our party and we all ordered something different! All 4 were stunning, tasty and value for money, best of all is the service with a smile. A great experience that I would recommend for everyone to try. Great treat.

I had been told about The Parlour but never been, until recently.

we have been wanting to come here for a while but have always been too busy. took a trip today and I wasn't dissapointed the staff were so friendly and the ice cream was amazing. I would definitely recommend it. the only slight thing was maybe not enough seating

I went with two friends for an afternoon ice cream. We were able to sit outside and the staff were so accommodating when we had no idea what to choose. The waitress spent time going through everything and answeres all our questions.

I visited last night to get there amazing take away deal, from the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with smiles, the portion we recieved was unbelievable they were that big we had to freeze half down. Arundel is a lucky town to have such an amazing place

My wife and I spotted this place when heading for some lunch. We made a mental note of it for our dessert and made a beeline for it as soon as we had finished our meal. In retrospect, we should have left it a little longer as the portion sizes are extremely generous.

Me and boyfriend visit every single Sunday and it is always faultless service! The two lovely owners always try to make sure there is a space to sit for everyone, it really is an amazing place and always thriving in the heart of Tarrent Street! This little shop is absolutely amazing! The ice cream is absolutely delicious as well as the waffles, pancakes and milkshakes!!!

Noticed the Parlour as we walked along Tarrant St and we were in the mood for an ice cream after wandering around town. There’s so much choice on offer it’s difficult to decide and when you have .....there’s another decision to make from the selection of cones! Staff are great and it’s a fun environment with all the flashing lights etc. A few tables are outside and so great if you can grab a spot. They also sell milkshakes, floats and waffles etc. I definitely recommend a visit here!

I work in Arundel and I have to say that was the best milkshake I've ever had! It was so lovely and very good service. Fabulous people working there and I would highly recommend.

The ice creams here are excellent with a huge choice of flavours and cone types. I had the banoffee flavour in a cone and it was delicious. Service was very quick despite the big queue and the maxed out seating. The only shame was that the lack of seating meant we went with take away cones instead of a sit down sundae ... my waist line will probably thank me this time but I would definitely recommend making a detour for this place!

On visiting the town today we came across this gem... great choice of flavours and different cones.... unfortunately while sitting outside the heavens opened and torrential rain hit us.. the owners were really kind to all sitting outside.. they went above and beyond, their hospitality was second to none.. Thank you so much..

Only heard about the ice cream parlour a few months ago from a colleague at work and finally managed to experience one of their delicious sundaes. I had the unicorn sundae, 3 scoops of ice cream, raspberry pavlova, mint choc chip and banana covered in cream, loads of sprinkles and rainbow ribbon sweetie strips, delish. My husband opted for a two scoop in a cone, mllionaires shortbread and vanilla in a white chocolate waffle cone, he loved it and helped me out too.

A friend recommended the sundaes. We had s lovely Friday evening sitting outside the parlour enjoying a massive chocolate sundae! Would definitely recommend a visit. Will definitely be going back!

Me and my boyfriend went in there for an ice cream, and when I noticed the Bounty ice cream me and the lovely person working there had a great conversation about how underrated Bounty is! Loved my ice cream and so did my boyfriend, I think he had the shortbread ice cream. Overall a great place for a sweet treat in Arundel that is reasonably priced, quirky and friendly.

Brilliant atmosphere and the man who served us was super friendly and smiley. My partner had the terrys chocolate orange sundae which he absolutely loved. I had the kinder bueno sundae. The bueno sauce is amazing. Unfortunately, the Ferrari richer ice cream tasted of coffee (which I cannot stand and can detect even the slightest hint of!) rather than Ferrero rocher. Assuming they were maybe close together in the freezer and the flavour spread or there was some sort of mix up. This meant I wasn’t able to eat most of the ice cream. The cream and sauce/sprinkles were yummy though so I will try again and hopefully have a bit more luck next time. I would have said something this one but it was so busy I didn’t want to cause a hassle.
