8.5.25. No chicken. No meringues. Limited new trial menu anyway without limited food in stock. Waitress was more interested in her makeup than what was on offer. Duty manageress was rude. Overall not great.

Georgous little beer garden, staff couldn't do enough for us. Dog friendly. Will definitely return lovely atmosphere here a must visit 😊

Went on Thursday evening for our anniversary and had such a fabulous meal that we immediately booked for Sunday lunch. What a letdown. Arrived on time to be advised by the maitre d' that the only available tables were by the front door with 'iron throne' seats and every customer and member of staff constantly passing by, or upstairs but had to vacate the table within the hour because a large party was expected. How preposterous! So we cancelled and went to a nearby pub instead. Sent an email complaint but have had no response. A master class in how to win and lose local customers at one fell stroke!

The food is OK, even though they forgot to put the chips on until we queried where they were. The drinks in the other hand are not great, considering it calls itself a coffee shop. The dirty chai latte was literally just lukewarm milk with no flavour, and when I swapped it out for a black coffee I was given the weakest swill that was undrinkable.

Well cooked food with some interesting vegetarian meals, which makes a pleasant change. Prices were reasonable and the food was tasty and good value for money.

Thought the other night in the shrew was amazing, very nice pub, nice drinks, nice people as well especially this women called Jade and a man called Paul they were very very nice and kind to talk too, will be back xxxxx

Best food in Prenton good service

Popped in with my Husband, daughter and granddaughter. The food was delicious, came out in good time and was piping hot. Compliments to the chef. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Worst chips. Not the typical chippy chips. These are cheap nasty frozen ones.

I ordered lamb tikka masala. The sauce was thin, watery and tasteless. 7 small chunks of very tough meat that tasted like beef rather than lamb. Went in the bin! Won’t be ordering from here again, very disappointed

Very tasty, good amounts, enough for 2, delivered hot, crispy beef nice treat and the curry sauce wasn't too spicy, got some free Fortune Cookies!
