Nemesis Coffee Shop in Wirral

Found this cafe in March this year 2024 and have been back every Friday since, their breakfast is the best we’ve ever tasted, the quality of the produce and the cooking ability is top class, we look forward to it every week. We were only looking for a cafe on the day but it is that good we keep going back. We get a full English and poached eggs with bacon. Their tea is fantastic too. Thanks to the staff who are lovely too. Would recommend this cafe to everyone it’s the best!

Can’t rate this cafe high enough. Food is excellent / well sourced- high quality food. Portions extremely generous. Excellent atmosphere. Owners very friendly and welcoming.

We go here very often. The food is great and the staff are very friendly and will do anything to help. Michael and Shelley are the owners and make sure it is very clean and tidy.

Was out shopping and had a few choices to have a bite to eat anyways came across this Nemesis Coffee Shop it was clean and tidy and staff were very pleasant I ordered a large breakfast and a omelette with chips the food was amazing nice and hot and you get plenty for your money’s worth… 10/10 for the food lovely staff.. Next time am around the area will happy pop in again…

very friendly ambience, quality of food amazing including size of portions, very clean throughout, service of the highest quality, we have been back many times since our first visit and will continue to do so, having visited many cafe / bistros in the wirral nemesis is a rare diamond among lesser opals.

I called in here today with my partner, since we live quite close but had not come in before. We were going to have a coffee and cake, but after seeing the menu decided it was more of a hot food kind of place, so we had the gammon, egg, chips and mushy peas as an early lunch. The portions were very generous and the food was good fare. It was nicely presented and not greasy at all. The coffees were nice too. The cafe was clean and looked well looked after. We were served in a pleasant and timely manner so no faults there either. I'm quite a fussy person but was quite pleased with my visit and I'll call in again.

Wife and I have lunch once or twice a week. Lovely food, even for two fussy vegetarians. Also always quick to arrive. Scones to take away after are a treat. Highly recommended.

Went out to a new place with the boyfriend as he decided he was going to treat me to a breakfast. Came in, staff not friendly. Kept giving us daggers. We ordered the 10 breakfast which gives you unlimited tea coffee or orange juice. I was only allowed one orange juice apparently.. Anyways breakfast came and I couldn't touch it. It was literally a grease bomb. Obviously they cooked it all in a grease fat fryer or something. So unhealthy and disgusting. The whole place stunk of grease. I literally left the whole plate. Couldn't eat it. I'm not fussy. Far from it and do is my boyfriend but even he couldn't touch his breakfast. We ended up leaving and going out for lunch. Much waited 20 pounds spent there. Save your money and go to Benricks. Or even better, I'd rather have a MACCIES breakfast!!!!

Popped in for a breakfast , i was not pleased to findmost of the food was deep fat fried , the bacon ,sausage , black pudding and the hash brown were all done the same way , not very healthy , and not to my taste , coffee was good , won t be back for the heart attack breakfast , i like my breakfast to be grilled , awful way to cook food .

Beware of visiting this cafe if you plan to pay by card, they charge a fee despite this practice being made illegal in Jan 2018.

Do not go to this cafe , they totally ignore you. We ended up walking out and going to Benricks where they look after their disabled customers!

Simply excellent. Had lunch today with 92 year old mum and brother. We were in the area visiting optician. Sandwiches made to order from good quality food, sandwiches packed full, no skimping. Coffee brilliant and customer service excellent from girls. We were also approached by the owner to check everything was okay with our food. Excellent hygiene. Prices good. Will in future travel there just for lunch and not have a reason for visiting Penton.

First time here though it’s been around for years, right at my doorstep. We had lunch but other patrons were having breakfasts which looked amazing as well as our lunches. Photo attached does it justice I feel, not expensive either! Recommended.

We have been here several times for brunch, as a couple, as we live locally and lunch with our son and grandchildren, who came to stay with us. Something for everyone ! The food is amazing, you get such a large amount with extra side bits on your plate. The staff are great and really friendly and helpful. Everything is so clean, including the floor ! What more could you ask for, would recommend to anyone.

Went to nemesis Prenton, for coffee and a tea cake. And spotted sausage rolls in the cabinet. took them home for dinner. they were best I've tasted. well done Mike.

When visiting my Brother who lives close by we use this establishment. The food is good, the service is great and staff very friendly and oh price is right too. What more do you want.

Husband and I visit regularly , we have a nice cooked breakfast, which is cooked for you and a nice pot of tea/coffee. Of your choices, extremely nice abs would recommend a visit .

Went for lunch and had a small breakfast which was pleasant but I think the lack of welcoming attitude from the staff let it down massively. Knives and forks are available and we had to leave our food to get them instead of them bringing us some over.. which where right next to to counter and till. I just found them very blasé and inattentive as we were the only customers there at the time.

have visited here several times with my son for breakfast. They serve a lovely fresh breakfast served with toast and tea . Includes a great range of produce all cooked fresh and great value .Also do lovely bacon batch .

Yes, today I went to Nemesis for lunch and I'll go again I expect, nice coffee, good food, smart clean interior, decent staff, no complaints, give it a try.

Informal place good for snacks or more substantial lunch. Food typical of average Cafe , but wholesome and tasty, cakes are homemade .Service is good and prices are reasonable.

I visited today for breakfast. I am on the road a lot so I get to eat from this kind of establishment quite often. Parking outside free for an hour so no hassles there. Pretty blonde lady was very welcoming. Very clean and tidy cafe, a totally welcoming environment. I went for the bacon and sausage sandwich to take away at £3.70 This is the best B&S; sandwich I have ever had and I will certainly call in here again when I am nearby.

Have eaten here many times. Food is served very quickly and always nicely presented. The two ladies who serve are always laughing and joking even with difficult customers. Would recommend the omlettes.

This cafe in Prenton is excellent value for money offering a full breakfast with a drink for £6.30 and well cooked is fantastic staff are very friendly and nice.

Had a full english breakfast her, was a good full plate, all the usual items on your plate, a coffee ,with your breakfast, i have got to say i eon t be back here, the bacon,the sausage, mushrooms, wete all deep fat fried, not my idea of cooking , there was a little cooking oil on my plate ,a little off putting, the breakfast looked really good till i started to eat, and it was plain to see all had been thrown in a deep fat fryer , I WILL NOT BE BACK HERE, this place won t suvive cooking food that way,POOR

I'd never been here before, and I can't believe why not! Friendly staff, free papers to read, the best veggie breakfast I've had and great coffee!! I'll definitely be back!

Excellent venue for a Sunday morning fry-up brunch. They also do a decent full Sunday roast for just £6 - bargain!

Greeted by warm friendly staff, followed by excellent food, good portion sizes, a warm family atmosphere with fantastic prices. I will definitely return Soon with my daughter who thoroughly enjoyed her food too.

A lovely café serving great food, would prefer table service but you can't have everything, especially not at their prices - very reasonable.

Had my first visit here last week. Walked in and asked if they took card, the girl just answered 'No'. So myself and my friend went to find a cash machine and returned in spite of her rudeness.

I've been a regular customer of Nemesis for the last 10 years. The staff are fantastic and the food excellent.
