order very late despite stating enjoy your food!! items missing and restaurant telephone number no longer in service. rubbish, won't be using again!!

No problem it was a little late, after all it was Saturdays night, food was hot, and delicious. Definitely a great takeaway.

The best indian food i’ve ever had always arrives hot!!! gorgeous!!!

Waited 2hrs for our order and when it finally arrived the korma was like water, hardly no chicken in it and tasteless. We've ordered from here before and never really had any issues but will never order from here again.

Only issues is drink was missing from order

I placed my order arrive 5.08 and asked for it to arrive ASAP. It arrived at 6.45pm and that would have been fine it was hot but it was barely warm, the chicken pieces were hard, rice was barely warm, a complete waste of money with the majority of the order was put in the bin.

I haven't received my order. I ordered at 7.45 and it's showed will be ordered between 8.50-9.10 and then showed between 9.20 . And later on I called the restaurant and they told me it will take another 20 minutes and I told them I want to cancel the order. Ifont know what happened

Got lamb with the Balti instead of Chicken and generally there seems to be less meat in the meals. That said the sauces were lovely but mixed feelings. Friendly delivery which is always good.

Used to frequent the Dhaka and was always a nice meal but on my first order for a while, this wasn’t good at all! Very watery and very little chicken in any of the meals, food overall was poor and went in the bin! I won’t be going back there!!! Besides that, it was late getting here and cold. Not a patch on the Khan in Tranmere

Food burnt! Hardly any chicken! Tried to phone the place and the person who answered was rude and kept hanging up claiming can't speak English

Order from this place all the time because its proper tasty! Food is always hot and delivered on time. I've never had any issues with when ordering from here and I've ordered from this place many times now! I don't usually leave reviews for places when I've ordered on just eat - but I felt I should big this place up for being a decent takeaway.

I have been going to Dhaka for over 20 years, The food has always been the best and the staff are just so lovely.

8 minuscule chicken pieces in the large madras no bigger than bite size. What happened to the decent sized chicken pieces…disappointing. Unlikely to order from here again unless this chsnged

Food marked as delivered at 19.25, it wasn’t. Rang the restaurant who said there was no record of the order, it then arrived at 20.10 cold, only 4 small pieces of chicken in the main dishes. Very disappointed

Items missing, (popadoms) food was cold on arrival. Their telephone number had a 'number not recognised' message,'. Refused to compensate me. So that's my last purchase at The Dhaka.

very disappointed tonight i always order from here but i had to wait for nearly two hours for my food tonight and when it did arrive it was missing items and the food that did arrive was cold, i tried to call the restaurant so i didn’t have to leave this review but the number does not work

First time of ordering from Dhaka after the recommendation. Have to say food was very bland, chicken was dry, chips soggy. The naans were tasty, though. We received bombay potatoes and pakora free, but the bombay potatoes were very mushy and a pale yellow colour and tasteless. Disappointed, it also arrived late and was warm.

Korma was greasy. Banjis where tasteless. Food was cold and we live around the corner. Saag was okay but again cold. Wouldn’t ever order again. Avoid.

Five star Indian food, ordered on the phone, collected, delicious, great portion sizes, nice salad. Well enjoyed. Highly recommended

Chicken korma was coconut milk! Garlic Nan is flavourless. Charged for onion barji that I didn’t even order, also given and charge for a large curry when I ordered a small. This place used to be good a few years ago, wouldn’t waste your money now

Came late which I had been made aware through a text that it was delayed , but the curry , rice , potatoes and naan came barely warm and onion bhaji were soggy and cold , was missing poppadoms also

Best Indian in town. The food is excellent, cooked fresh in front of you, I've lived in Delhi for 8months and this is one of the best places I've found in the area by far. Very reasonably priced, 5mins drive from Oxton, will deliver. Really friendly proprietor and staff, will also use your own containers to reduce waste. Lamb Sagg for me!

Spent 35 pound , the starters only had meat no onions and the meat was the size of two peas, spot the chicken in my so called large curry 3 small pieces of meat, I'll hate to get the small curry. What ever ingredients there using very cheap, the packaging cost more, not worth it,

Worst takeaway we’ve ever had, was absolutely stone cold and not even the correct order. Seemed like they’d just chucked in the old cold unwanted dishes to cover missing dishes. To much awful cold food, not even the animals wanted! Definitely will not waste my money here again.

This is genuine restaurant quality at takeaway prices probably the best tasting indian food you could wish for, I have seen poor reviews for this establishment which doesn’t make sense ignore them and give them a try

Beautiful authentic Bangladeshi food. Cooked to perfection every time. It’s the only Indian we go to. On weekends due to it being so busy waiting times for delivery can be a while, however if you pre book with the app the food will be delivered when requested.

Have bought from the Dhaka for several years and unfortunately it has declined a bit in the last 6 months. Not sure if I’ll continue to patronise.

Delicious food, fresh and tasty. Lovely delivery driver

First time ordering from here. Would have given better star rating but delivery driver was very grumpy and was 40 minute late so food bit cold. However, food was lovely and excellent value for money. I really liked the way you can order smaller dishes so you can try a few different things. Would definitely try here again....just tell the driver to 😁!

Arrived an hour late without even an apology from the driver.

over 2 hours late, rang an hour in and they said they’d 15 mins, sent a text via justeat saying they were on their way rang again 1 hr 30 mins in an: they said another 15 mins and didn’t arrive for another 30 mins.

The meal was fairly cheap but the curry was very sickly sweet, the bombay potatoes where cold in the middle. Onion bargies where actually really good.

After reading the review’s was expecting a lovely meal, the pakora are not fresh dark look old. Chicken quality is not good. Chicken chatt is just salty sorry but will not be ordering from here again. It was late was told keaving in 5 minute’s but arrived cold?? Really disappointed tbh not sure how they have the reviews they have sorrry it’s just not nice at all

Can’t believe after ordering from my favourite curry house over 25 years I was let down on my partners 60th Birthday with family and friends. We ordered at 6.30 pm for delivery and were told 40 mins to 1hr which was ok, but after 30 mins we received a call to recheck the address and it would be 5 mins. We waited another 40 mins but no arrival. When we phoned were told another 20 to 25 mins. We had to cancel and our guests went home hungry! It was almost 9pm and they left.We have always supported local businesses , but sadly they were not apologetic and not bothered, so we won’t bother again.

We use Dhaka Takeaway regularly and highly recommend it. The staff are nice and the food is delicious.
