Owner was friendly enough but the food was terrible. Samosas were just the sort you'd buy frozen. The biriyani was bland and overcooked... Probably just reheated in the microwave. The naan was flavourless. Just awful food. So disappointed as I remember curries in the North West generally being ace, but this was really poor. I make better at home.

Amazing food, lovely staff, 100% worth every penny.
We both had the Grizzley burgers and a side of the Down N Dirty loaded fries, one of the best and juiciest burgers I’ve tasted in a long time, and the loaded fries were awesome!
Cute and quiet atmosphere aswell!
Will definitely be visiting again thank you! ☺️
A good traditional town centre pub retaining some heritage features such as the very pleasant seating booths and decorative screens. There is an interesting 'window' in the floor revealing the cellar. An OK ale range for my visit and three ales and a cider were on the six available hand pumps. Alongside the dreaded John Smith’s smooth were Old Mill Brewery Styrian Wolf bitter, and Black Sheep’s Monty Pythons Holy Grail Ale plus a cider and these were in decent nick.
A decent enough traditional pub for a pint in central Preston, especially if you can get one of the two private booths on the right hand side as we did.

I'm sorry but this is a 1 rating it's not what "people" are saying for best reviews or food, it didn't hit the spot whatso ever. Took one bit and threw it in the bin, chips were to crunchy, hard and dry, burgers are more like Gourmet Burgers and dry not the best and pizzas just don't taste right... so I won't be returning. I'm fumming spent 27.00 on food waste....
I had their kebabs from them before I don't know what they have done to their naans were rubbish so thin no taste. Kebab size also reduced clearly food quality has decreased foot business relies of consistency of quality and quantity.
Lovely meal at the Wellington. Went with my family, service was excellent, food lovely and really attentive staff. Would definitely recommend. staff were excellent and really looked after the whole party.

"Dev at Subway was amazing! His friendly attitude, attention to detail, and quick service made my visit great. Thank you, Dev, for your excellent work!"
Without a doubt, one of the best soups I've ever tasted. I chose the Creamy Spinach and it was absolutely delicious. Congratulations to the chef! I'll definitely be back for more!
We arrived early but were seated straightaway. We were offered drinks and the menu.
We ate from the 2 courses menu for £26. Starters were crab donuts (a little fishy tasting if you know what I mean) and brisket croquettes were quite tasty.
Mains was steak and frittes and sea bream with crushed potatoes and park
Choi. However the pak choi was very over cooked and limp and not drained properly so spoilt the goats cheese veloute , making it very watery.
Deserts were strawberry crème brûlée - highlight of the meal and passion fruit tart.
All dishes beautifully presented and service very good.
Whenever I visit Preston this is my no 1 for fish & chips . Consistent quality food at reasonable prices .
Very friendly and good old fashioned service with a smile they appreciate your business .

Been several times, as a couple, a family and as a large group.
Each time the food has never been anything other than exceptional. So tasty and fresh. Between us we have been through the menu nearly and none of us can fault anything on the menu. It is so good for Preston to have such a high standard Chinesse restaurant rather than the normal pile it high sell it cheap Chinesse buffet.
The service is normally very good, the ring a bell push a button from your table is also a very good idea.
Can’t wait to return again.
Thank you Mr Lams.

Yesterday, Saturday evening, I arrived at 6 minutes before eight. They closed at eight o'clock. The shutters were already half closed. A girl shouted at me that they were closed. I indicated that it was not yet eight o'clock. Then you said it was all over. I said I just wanted coffee, I saw the machine still on. She slammed the door.
This is not customer friendly. And eight o'clock is eight o'clock. You can still make 10 coffees in 6 minutes. Then say that you close at half past eight.
