Lovely atmosphere and great choice of drinks. Customer service was great especially from Morgan or was very lovely and welcoming

Open early is a bonus. I generally go in for take away coffee, though I have been in socially many times. I find the coffee hotter than other Costas (I prefer cooler) but it's a clean store and the staff are polite and hard working.

Called in here a few times now when I'm in Preston. Lovely staff friendly atmosphere, good coffee. I'd been upto Lancaster on the bus so going back to train station called in for coffee. It was around 4pm, I'd been here a while and a few elderly gents came in and set up a dominoes table, which at 1st wasn't quite sure what was going on. Apparently its a regular meeting which is a really nice thing to see. Will definitely call in again when I'm back in Preston.

I visited the Costa Coffee cafe in Preston today on Fishergate and I enjoyed the experience. I had a cup of Twinnings breakfast tea and a glass of water. The tea was of good quality. The staff were friendly and efficient at serving my order. Also there are newspapers to read. And also toilet facilities. I would recommend a visit to the Costa Coffee cafe on Fishergate in Preston. Update Sunday 4th February 2024: I visited the Costa Coffee shop on Fishergate in Preston and it was a most enjoyable experience. I had a cup of the breakfast tea and a glass of water. The tea was of top quality. The service from the staff was excellent as well. The cafe is well maintained and is clean inside. There are plenty of seats in the cafe. There is also free wifi and plug sockets available to charge up your mobile phone. I would recommend a visit to the Costa Coffee shop/cafe on Fishergate in Preston.

Good place to take a rest, when you have to stay in Preston but do not know where to go.

The Costa in the center of Preston, when I placed my order, they gave me any order except the one I had asked for when I asked to change it, they gave me anything really, I always go to that place with my family but today it left a lot to be desired, I felt like I wasted my money. The best one is the one located in the Odon cinema

Today I went in around 8 am and was served by a good hearted gentleman with black hair and a beautiful blonde lady who was also very kind hearted, for a bit of back story, I usually tend to try and feed homeless people every time I'm in Preston town centre, I usually head to pound bakery when I'm buying quite a few meals, I'm not one who really tends to go to costa however this morning it was a very cold morning, one of those where your hands go red and are a little tender, it really meant the world to me be treated with such kindness, they upgraded the food to large for the homeless and that meant the world to me and I know it made a great world to those who were just waking up as I gave it them, I really appreciated the great service and positive staff, I was shocked by the kindness, thankyou, ill definitely be returning in the future, thankyou for going the extra mile :)

Welcoming atmosphere, bigger than it looks, plenty of seating, variety of sofas, padded / hard back chairs. Ambiance was pleasing, staff polite and welcoming. Definitely come again when on the city.

Only niggle, is the rather early 1630 closing time.

Fairly busy but the staff seemed to be coping and we're cheerful and friendly.

Requested large one shot latte as I have almost every day, tasted stronger and bitter, than I'm used to. lady that made it told me I was incorrect as she'd made it. Should of offered to make it again, I had to request to add hot milk. First time had any issue at Fishergate rd store.

Very spacious Costa, friendly staff and lots of seats. Good clean toilets too. Lots of power sockets for working and charging electronics. Good range of drinks well made and lots of cakes. A little disappointed with the lack of savoury options.

For a chain coffee shop the coffee is good and friendly staff and suprising quick service. Can get crowded at times.

Lovely food and the coffee is great. Very busy shop but that provides a great atmosphere!

Bad energy in this place , gentlemen making coffees was Extremely stressed , snappy with customers and staff ! He did apologise to another member of staff but still not a nice environment. Luke warm drinks & not mixed proper. My sons drink was 50% cream! would never return ! Will stick to my local costa in Poulton which is the opposite to this one.

Salted caramel hot chocolate was amazing

Poor service, poorly trained, sometimes 8 people around a few tables with just 1 cup and 2 bottles of water between them..... and there still there when you return hoping for a table this time

We were served by a lovely member of staff. We asked her how a couple of different drinks was made and she was very knowledgeable. Brilliant customer service.

I love this Costa it's so quaint and cosy and the staff are always pleasant to talk to. I always come here when I need to unload my stress and relax for a bit from university work. The best thing though, are the gluten free caramel squares they have they're so soft and it literally melts in my mouth every time so I always buy two to eat there, and then have one for later because they're just too good 😍

I arrived at the counter, to only hear one staff member talking about other staff, I was stood waiting to only be ignored, the place is quiet and I do t want to hear about who is or isn't the next assistant manager. Then only after I had been passed my coffee I was asked if I want chocolate on top! They need to learn customer services at this store

Staff didn't know what offers were on .... then more interested in each others tales than serving customers. 3 or 4 stood around talking and one girl left to serve on her own. Toast is super tasty and cappuccino perfect and hot

Decent coffee, served quickly, at a comfortable and clean seat. Can't really ask for much more from a Costa.

Only called in to kill some time before my eye appointment. I normally avoid these type of coffee shops due to the extortionate prices they charge. Cakes were dry, staff friendly enough. It grieves me to pay £10+ for 2 brews and 2 dry cakes but hey ho.

Like thier coffe it never seems to alter whichever Costa you visit.

This is a very angry complain for what happened with me at Costa Coffe Preston Fishergate Store today between 11:40 to 12:00. I am a very regular customer with this branch since more than one year ago. In the first instance I ordered a large coffee latte stay in. The girl who made my order who first time I saw her in this branch has made it go away order NOT stay in. I spoke with other staff member and the one who I spoke with nicely ordered me a new one stay in. The same girl who made the previous one has made the new one, and when she handled it to me, she give it on the counter harshly as the coffee was thrown out from the cup making chose on the counter and the dish, and the cup self became covered with the coffee that was thrown out. She didn't at least say sorry and took the next customer as nothing wrong was happened. I complained to the nice girl I spoke previously and with other staff member but I couldn't unfortunately find any serious care. I left their coffee on the table and I told them that I don't want it, leaving their store and went tho Caffè Nero at the same street where I found what I want. I am really very disappointed to experience as this issue in a place where I used to be a regular customer for more than one year ago.

I remember I once when there because I was given a free piece of cake through their mobile application on my birthday. It was obviously such a nice treat from them and I wasn’t really expecting it. Anyway, I went there and asked for a chocolate fudge and wanted it warm. The barista said they don’t usually serve it warm but he did it for me. He was very nice.

I visited this store last week and was served by the most amazing member of staff. She offered information on all of the drinks available that I asked, and recommended which ones I should try based on my preferences. I would definitely come again! As I had such a positive experience. I asked for her name, and I am very sorry if I am mistaken but I think that is is Khadijah!!

The staff is always very pleasant and friendly, I remember one situation when O spilled a whole bottle of water in my purse and the staff brought me loads of tissues and was very helpful and understanding.

It's Costa! A great place to go with your friends, family or significant other for a nice hot beverage. The prices for food are kinda pricey in my eyes but it's good to know you have the option to eat there too if you so desire.

Your Sunday staff (two girls) were very unprofessional. The cafe was empty yet they got our order wrong and didn't seem to know what they were doing. £14 for the wrong drinks and two stale croissants is a joke. My boyfriend asked for a cup holder to take the drinks and the girl just threw the cup holder at him. So if you see these two idiots find another cafe.

Really appreciated the server informing me that nearly all the frostinos can be made vegan when I enquired about ordering the mint choc chip one with oat milk. He could have just made my drink and moved on but I appreciated him letting me know, drink was great too ☺

Standard costa coffee shop. However, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and would definitely pop in again.

Always go in when I'm craving a coffee. Sometimes with the chocolate frappacino's they over do it with to much chocolate to the point it tastes a bit sickley! But I love their tuna panines as well as their other snacks like their chocolate tiffin😋

I love this coffee shop. Although they unwitrigly charge me twice. For some reason, I got charged contactless meanwhile I also paid in cash using a 10-pound note. I think my card got so close to the card-scanning device. But for sure the cashier lady didn't realize that, and to be honest, I have just realized this myself. Anyways, I still love this cafe'.

Good cafe, could be better with selection of cold sandwiches.

Looks great since the recent refurb. Acoustics may have been addressed as part of the refurb too, because the shop seemed calmer on my latest visit. Standard Costa quality drinks, served efficiently.

Ordered a large vanilla latte, only to be given a plain latte, the helpful barista then added 3 shots of vanilla to make up for the error which resulted in a huge overload of sugar. Coffee gone to waste :(

What's there to say, I keep going back there. Friendly and helpful staff.

Dirty tables, dated furniture. Poor selection of food. Short-changed on the amount of coffee in cups/mugs, filthy toilets I could go on. I will not be be visiting again. And to cap it all, when I occasionally receive a survey form from Costa Head office, and I put a comment on to the effect that things are awful and if they would email me on xxxxxxxxx I could tell them what needs to be put right, what do I get ? Absolutely Zilch. So much for service.The fact that they don't respond clearly says that they don't care.

A comfy coffee shop located at the centre of town. The coffee is to a high standard and baristas are friendly. A great place to grab a coffee whether you stay there or take it on the go.

Expensive place and not even that good. I paid an extra for marshmallows and what I got was exactly 3 of them

I often pop in for a coffee and a toastie for lunch during my lunch break. Today tables were cluttered with used plates and cups. This is not the first time and they seem short staffed. Sort it or lose business.

The Cosiest & much the nicest Costa in Preston - Lots of seating, and a quiet spacious store. Great for pre-show coffee if you are going to the Guildhall, with nice attentive staff, tho does get busy during the day. Could do with staying open later. Only bettered by the here today gone tomorrow stand-alones around Winckley square, and the Church Street side roads

For a chain coffee shop this was an excellent coffee served in clean, comfortable surroundings by pleasant and efficient staff. Just right for a quick stop whilst shopping in the city.

Went here with my daughter and husband,had a really lovely hit chocolate with cream waited a while though and the girls were rushed of their feet.

Visited today for a coffee and cakes, service was reasonable, coffee average, cakes fine. However, the tables needed tidying and wiping, the floor was laden with bits of rubbish, and the front glass door was all smeary and grubby!! Not what you would expect in a normal coffee house. All in all a bit of a disappointment, would not recommend as a good place to go, as it seems to have gone downhill since our last visit last year. Needs a good clean up!!!!!
