Had the Fishermans lunch cannot praise it enough delicious and very generous in size The staff were very attentive and courteous Altogether a lovely lunch I hope to repeat in the near future

Stayed in Barnoldswick for a few nights and decided to try a takeaway from here. Let me tell you, the butter chicken was unreal—so rich, flavorful, and ridiculously moreish. Paired it with egg fried rice and a cheesy keema naan, and every bite was pure heaven. It was so good I seriously debated ordering extra just to take home! Huge credit to the chef—absolutely nailed it. Plus, they’ve got a 5-star hygiene rating, which already puts them ahead of other Indian restaurants in the area. As a curry lover, I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and order from here. You won’t regret it!

Excellent hosts and a lovely friendly atmosphere. We always get a lovely welcome here! The White Lion is a very old traditional inn, that has been modernised but still retains its charm. We last visited on a Sunday evening and enjoyed a live acoustic music event which is held there each month. The pub provided supper for the musicians, which on this occasion was delicious pizzas. We found the hosts to be welcoming, friendly and generous. Would highly recommend.

Worst KFC I have ever stepped foot in. Every table was absolutely filthy! The floor and chairs were also full of shit. The food waste bin was overflowing, and the self order machine had more crap on it than a tractor tyre. This place is the definition of poor hygiene!

Food sent on wrong bread and manager didn't seem interested in helping and hung up on me

A typical takeaway with pizza's, kebabs and burgers etc. Not the best food but okay for a quick fix if your hungry on a night out

100% Underrated!!! The food is soo good when you collect it and eat it fresh. You get what you are given if to lazy to walk down.

First time visit with my extended family of 10, kids and adults. Restaurant was busy due to Easter and several tables celebrating birthdays. We experienced no issues with poor service or unnecessary delays as experienced by other reviewers. Food was tasty with large portions, we had a selection of pizza, pasta and garlic bread and ended up bringing some home ! Drink prices reasonable except house wine at £20 a bottle which we thought was a little steep. Overall an enjoyable get together at a highly recommended authentic Italian restaurant… we’ll be back 🍕 🍝 🍻 🍷
