Ordered a meal for delivery. Very disappointing, The prawn tikka masala was very skimpy on the king prawns. Probably 2 prawns , if that, cut into small bits, it was mostly sauce. Poppadoms were cooked well in the middle and not so much on the outer edges. Bombay potatoes were OK but the serving size very small. The containers were only half full. The samosas were nice. Including delivery it was over £29 .Very over priced for what we received.Poor quality..

Ordered a chicken kebab, got home, it was just doner meat. Not happy. Very disappointed, feel like I have been ripped off. Makes me wonder?

Not very happy at all, ordered a chicken burger meal on the meal deals for £3.50. Only to receive a burger, then got told I only ordered a burger. Even have the screen shot of it. Would never pay £3.50 just for a plain chicken burger.

Absolutely disgusting food. Ordered a milkshake ive tasted better tap water chips as dry as a bone and my nan can cook a better curry than this place. Tried giving my dog the naan bread and even he turned his nose up at it! Absolutely disgusting food and rubbish service. Definitely will not be ordering again 🙄

Best service in town! Love this place for their amazing customer service as well as their delicious food. The staff are super hardworking and friendly. There is plenty of indoor seating to dine with family and friends. The menu has a great variety of delicious food to choose from at reasonable prices. This takeaway is situated in a prime location just opposite the bus station. The chicken karahi curry is very nice. Would definitely recommend this place 10/10

Iv ordered the beast kebab, well impressed. 1,200kg yes I did weight it because I couldn't belive it. Great price 6,50. Meat could be grilled a bit more,but that's my opinion.thanks

Do not eat from here, the food is cheap and their chips and onion rings are all bought from Lidl in Nelson, and they can’t make it right as it tastes disgusting, the pricing is high and going there will make you feel like day light robbery even though they are opened at night, avoid this takeaway at all costs, the workers are unhygienic and quality of food is very poor and tasteless, service is beyond ridiculous, if you want to ruin your Friday night order from here if not Avoid at all costs and save your money , the owner is bad mannered also so avoid him at all costs, he likes to stare at peoples gf’s , avoid at all costs !!!!

The owners are very professional, they really look after you and the food is absolutely amazing. Clean, straight up good food, never had any complaints which is why myself and anyone I've recommended to this place always come back. You can tell the pizza's aren't store bought garbage like most takeaways do, all that good stuff is made fresh like they say on menu. Thank goodness a place like this still exists! X

I wish I had checked reviews before ordering. Food arrived on time but was terrible itself. I asked for oregano topping and they dumped whole box onto it. Trust me, IT WAS A BLACK MARGARITA BY THE LOOKS! Even the one without oregano was tasteless extra loaded with chicken which wasn't fresh. Such a waste of money and food. HAD TO DUMP IT ALL

We ordered from here and the driver forgot to give us the drink and poppadoms so we called the take away and the driver finally come back around after 45 mins and still did not have the drink. He said he will leave a note for next time we order to add a free drink. We ordered after few days and on the notes again reminded them to send the extra drink but they did not. This time the burgers were over cooked and burnt we tried to call them bk but no answer as they closed very disappointing after spending so much money with them!!

Due at 1910 delivered 1955.phoned Captain Cook 3 times and they said driver wasn't answering.They told me to ring when delivered which I did and they said if any problems with food or if it was cold they would redo.The food was hot enough and was delicious.We enjoyed it.

Food was absolutely disgusting. Chips tasted warmed up, there was no chicken in the strips they was solid. Kebab was dry and manky and the driver took it to the wrong house before getting it right.

Very rarely have kebabs but was nice quality kebab meat not the cheap stuff. My 10 year old daughter wolfed it down. So i know it was good because she is fussy.

Food was ok, Luke warm when delivered, paper rapping had ripped and food was all in the bottom of the bag.

First and last time I order from here. £25 wasted, 2 hours it took for food to come then it was all stone cold. The state of the kababs was disgusting I wouldn’t of fed my dog this food. Cold soggy chips. We reheated the food and tried to eat it but we ended up throwing majority of it away it just wasn’t edible. I feel we should at least get half our money back for the time we waited and the fact it was all cold and not fit to eat.

Food delivered exactly when it said it would be. Unfortunately that is the only positive feedback I have. Food quality was poor, very small portion size and lukewarm at best. As a longtime customer sadly this is the last time we will order from Captain Cooks

Order was confirmed at 20:23, estimated delivery time was 21:10. Food arrived cold and late! 21:40 with item missing. The pizza was left at restaurant. I then got a call at 22:00 saying the driver couldnt find the address the pizza finally arrived at 22.18 cold and rock hard. Wouldnt not reccommend as none of the food was edible!

Unfortunately paying 9 pound for calzone pizza I'd expect filling barely any filling or sause.

Ordered 2 meal deals. Both including quarter plunder cheeseburgers, 9" bbq chicken pizza, 9"mest feast and 2 portions of chips. Was just a regular quarter pounder, no cheese on both. The chips were kind of soggy. Me and and my partner completely avoided the most feat pizza after tasting it, the flavours were not that of your average meat feast and didn't taste good at all. Rung up shortly after food was delivered to explain the order was messed up, they told us they could do nothing about it as they were busy and would offer a discount next time. Unfortunately we won't be eating here again, despite the decent prices and quick services, the food just wasn't great

The burger bun was burnt the chips dried out, and the chicken popcorn was really well done was like eating rubber

The pizza was just average, got stuffed crust which was tasteless. Also got a half-pounder cheeseburger supposedly with cheddar cheese. It was two low-quality burgers on a tea cake with a processed cheese slice; I couldn't eat it. The chips were lukewarm and seemed like oven chips. All in all, it was not enjoyable.

Chips looked and tasted as though they had been reheated. Totally wrong pizza, I ordered a hot shot with several extras and I got a pepperoni with pickled jalapenos. I hate both of those. It went straight in the bin.

Sadly the kebab meat was not fresh, just reheated and tasted like rubber . Staff was nice and portion was good but a little pricy considering the area and what I got. I'm sure others may have had better experience but I won't be going there again.

How can a phone order take over an hour and a half. Ordered a large donner and 1 small but small had more donner meat than large. Meat feast pizzas lacked meat but plenty of sweetcorn. Worst of all 1 and 1/2 hour later food was cold. Stick to what you know.

Really rubbish food. Moreover asked for sauce on chips they somehow forgot even they're the deadest takeaway in town. Half the pizza was toppled over when I opened it and was overloaded with topping. The Pepsi was alright tho🤣👍. Dont know who's running the show there they need to wake up. Next time gonna stick to papas pizza and LITERALLY ANY other takeaway except from "captain cooks". Disgusting chips were horrible far from what they described on just eat. None of it was nice gutted, and they pack mint source for a starter. Food very bland and will not be returning
