Just called in for a 'flyer'. Had great red wine and my wife had prosecco and a sauvignon! No time to eat as we'd just bought tea for home.

Food is good as had it before. This time poor choice of draught lagers . Wine is priced way too high. Again one smiling unwelcoming staff .

Stumbled upon by chance , after a weekend in Scarborough to see james and driving home to macclesfield, Amazing food! Lovely staff, great little place everything spot on!!

Nice place for a meal and good atmosphere. Chilled night out 9 people in our party. We had steaks, burgers. My grand daughter was with she is only 4 and the staff were so good with her

Great food as usual. Good service too. Only little thing to mention was music playlist on repeat so same songs 2 or 3 times over the few hours we were there. Overall a lovely evening at Will's

Cannot believe they let yapping dogs into this place. Spoilt a lovely evening with friends. At least the company was great, as was the wine, but the place is losing that special atmosphere it once had.

Booked Will's for my leaving party from work. Sophie (GM I believe) sent me a menu via email as we had to pre order because there were 13 of us. Will's was very busy when we arrived but our tables were ready and food arrived once we'd all got our drinks from the bar. Like I've said there were 13 of us and we had ordered 2 or 3 small plates each which arrived all together, hot, freshly prepared and delicious. Excellent service to say Will's was absolutely packed with diners and people just in for a drink! Thank you for hosting a lovely evening!

Mid week treat with daughter and son in law. My husband is wheel chair bound but this was not a problem. The waiting on staff were good, asking if everything was OK

A great place to enjoy some food and a drink(s). All staff were friendly and attentive. Brilliant drinks selection and a nice atmosphere. A lot of love and time has obviously gone into this place, well worth supporting it.

we came for some food and drinks. Food was nothing special at all very overpriced for what it was. Service was shocking! Wine was good but again overpriced. Wouldn’t be in a rush to try again!

Visited Wills on 28th January 2023. We sat down at our table at 5pm. By 5:30pm we was already asking for the bill due to already having all our food and drinks… very fast… too fast service. When we arrived we was seated and thought everything was fine and ordered our food. We received our food and the pizza was stone cold… not stone baked. The chips were warm but not very. We sat eating our meal and not once got asked this everything was okay and none walked past for us to be able to say our food wasn’t up to satisfactory. When eating the pizza, the base was still undercooked and doughy so we stopped eating the pizza. When we finished someone cleared the plates and again never asked if everything was okay when clearly we’d left majority of our food. We asked for the bill and was given the bill very quickly and we paid and left. This service wasn’t good at all and will not be returning. Since the meal me and my partner who eat the same food are now both feeling very sick and under the weather. Not impressed. What a waste of money.

Food was Just about warm (pizza almost cold), staff not particularly attentive. Never asked if our food was okay, and ordering was difficult…the staff were at the bar chatting, not checking if a table needed service.

Very much enjoyed a visit here. Will's manages to be a number of things; Bistro, Wine Bar, pub without compromising any of them. We had dinner which was a combination of small plates and some main courses and couldn't fault any of them. Very reasonably priced too, no illusions of grandeur here. Will was great at recommending some alternative wine when the bottle we ordered had run out - brought some options to our table and described each one. Brill.

We met friends here on a Friday evening. There is such a lovely, bustling, warm atmosphere. The staff are really pleasant & attentive. We ate and the food was delicious. Cooked to order with fresh ingredients. And it all came out really hot. The aspen fries are 👌

Absolute rip off place. Drinks are very overpriced, trying to be pretentious and something that it’s not. This is a small bar in a Lancashire village charging London prices…madness. Charged me £16 for ONE G&T and £7 for a pint of flat beer. Everyone that I speak to says the same - the drink prices have become extortionate.

Went for Burger Night, first thought was of surprise there wasn’t a beef option… however it wasn’t missed in the end! Korean Buttermilk Chicken burger, with sides of Pork Belly Tacos and some Halloumi fries! Ordered far too much but all was superb! Nice and busy, with a relaxed atmosphere. Will be back 👍

Am amazed there aren't more reviews here as Will's is a very popular wine bar/informal restaurant in Barrowford. Ate there for the first time tonight and the Korean chicken burger was absolutely delicious. Great wine selection and a nice atmosphere including excellent music soundtrack at exactly the right volume, All round good experience. My only criticism wold be the limited choice of beer...a craft ale would be nice.

Yeah its dear but it's the best place for wine and food by a long way. Ask for advice and they know what they are talking about.

Nice place and staff to have a drink

On the airport run, managed to nip into Trafford Centre for some shopping and enjoyed this. The staff were very attentive and got served a really good portion of Salmon. #tasty

Nice decor, friendly enough staff. The buttermilk chicken was very nice. We also got a pizza and to be honest I've had better frozen one's at home. The sirloin steak was also very disappointing especially at £25. We won't be rushing back but like i always say you always have to try somewhere for yourself.

Great atmosphere for a date night.

We were visiting the area for a few days and came across Wills. We had a fantastic tapas meal, all delicious, especially the cod and belly pork soft tacos. Superb food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is lively in the evening and really chilled in the afternoon. I like the menu and enjoy relaxing here. I think it will continue to get even better. Really, really good spot. Highly recommended.

Service was outstanding. The staff anticipated our every need and were lovely to chat to. The food was beautiful and I would particularly recommend looking at the specials board which I understand changes regularly. The wine list is extensive but as a bit of a lay person when it comes to wine the staff were happy to give us their recommendations based on our taste. The atmosphere is lovely for an intimate date night or with a group of friends alike. Hope to go again soon

Food was great, Wine menu was incredible,. Customer service was absolutely superb. I couldn't recommend a place more!!!! Will recommend a superb glass from the description of my ideal wine to follow nicely from the bottle we had. CV19 guidelines well established throughout, I can't wait to go back! Highly recommended!!!!

Great food and service as always from Will's. Thorough Covid-19 precautions in place as well unlike some other establishments we've eaten at recently.

Loved the food (fantastic) and the atmosphere in the restraunt and additional the friendly staff were fantastic.. The marks down are simply down to the bouncer who within 60 seconds of last orders was trying to force us out the bar in an aggressive manner. As a grownup I don't feel the need to be spoken and treated like a child and moving forward I'd like to come back and be treated more like an adult. I appreciate time scales are imperative especially during these times but communicate it better rather than bang on the minute it's time to close you need to leave

Amazing every time!! I am so thankful to have Wills bar in the area now, it is my go to every time for a lovely dinner and a fantastic experience. The food is honestly amazing, everything we have eaten, we have loved and the wine is the best in the Ribble Valley, Will really knows his stuff when it comes to good wine and it doesn't go unnoticed as the place is extremely popular. A MUST GO!!

What a fantastic find! Gorgeous bar with a very chic comfortable atmosphere. Staff were brilliant so friendly so welcoming as soon as we arrived. Food was absolutely delicious & again the staff are so attentive & friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to return here. If you ever wonder to come here, dont! It's a perfect place. Enjoyed my evening at Wills went with a party of friends to eat and have a few drinks. There was a really good atmosphere . Everyone enjoyed their food. I had a slight problem with my meal but the issue was sorted out in an extremely prompt, professional and friendly manner. I will definitely return and based on my experience would recommend a visit.

I love Will's. The staff are genuinely lovely and always chat to you if they have a spare minute. The food is always great, I recommend the pizzas but it's all good! It's always fairly busy so there's usually a good atmosphere. I would highly recommend it!

Will's is amazing! Whenever I'm in the mood for a glass (or bottle) of wine, from Picpoul to Amarone, Lauren picks the perfect one for me. Plus the food is to die for! If you haven't been before it's an absolute no-brainer. Go!!!

A very busy place, perhaps too busy. We went for a meal early evening on a Saturday and the place was rammed. Most people were there drinking not eating and it felt very trendy.

Brilliant place to hang out for coffee, great wine and excellent food. Spending far too much of my life here! Keep it up Will and the team.
