The best restaurants serving Default food in Saddleworth North Oldham North West

Great place, we stopped for a quick drink while out for a cycle ride from Grotton food smelt lovely we had a few starts to put us on.

Really great country pub! Great atmosphere, great homemade generous portioned food and good choice of drinks. Brill walks all around are an added bonus!

Beautiful place, let down by service and food. Lovely setting, beautiful place and we were made to feel welcome. The staff were great, very friendly. We ordered and it took 40 minutes for the food to arrive, we weren’t advised there was a wait. The food was mediocre. My partner enjoyed the fish pie, my daughter the burger, my chicken supreme gnocchi was awful and everything was cold. My in laws said theirs was okay. We had sides too and they were also cold. We ordered deserts and they took about 25 mins to come and the place was almost empty at this point. It wasn’t terrible, but not good enough that we would return or recommend.

After hearing about the infamous Cheese and Onion Pie many months ago I just had to visit to try it myself. I definitely wasn't disappointed as it was jam packed with Cheese and Onion rather than filled out with potatoes like other places. Can also vouch for the delicious Sausage and Chive Mash. Will be visiting again when I'm back in the area. 🥧

The starters were ok but the mains were absolutely heinous. I didn't have high hopes so kept it simple with spag bol as you can't go wrong with that... I'm pretty certain it was pasta and tomato puree and nothing else. I really don't believe a professional chef cooked it there's no way. The waitress asked how the food was and I said it was awful. She mentioned bringing a manager but none ever appeared. Won't be going back and can't believe I had to pay what isn't a small amount of money for that meal.

Went on a recommendation and was lovely. Went at 10am for Saturday morning breakfast Great coffee and service. Persian eggs with chorizo were nicest I’ve ever had….family who all had the small English breakfast said was plenty and very nice. Will be back for sure!!!

Nice meals midweek, a tad expensive though, cosy with good ales ect , staff very good

We visited for afternoon tea on a Saturday afternoon. The greeting we got wasn't great. Spoke to 3 young girls before we were seated. We had afternoon tea which was average but had to ask for plates. No cream with our scones, just jam. It was unlimited tea and coffee but we had to ask for a second cup. No one asked if everything was ok with our food. The staff were very young but lacked leadership. Don't think we would return.

Over priced.. cafe run by silly girls. No coordination as to what menu was available and queuing time ridiculous. Won’t be going back

Great food and drinks with lovely service. Its a little pricey but worth it. The Japanese tea was lovey with very quirky tea pots. There was looses tea on sale too ... wish I'd bought some, but its a good excuse for a return visit.

Went in there christmas eve, lovely atmosphere and lovely bar staff. A credit to diggle

Lovely but too much food it, it put me off. Shouldn't complain really. Very cramped and tables too close . But I would go again.

Never had a bad night in the Bulls Head and I'm a local. Stewart will look after you... Top guy! If you want a tune on, all you have to do is ask!
