A good traditional Manchester pub with friendly locals and a great selection of draught beers.

Good food, but the service and atmosphere could lets it down massively. It took a solid eternity just to be noticed, and when the food finally arrived, it was delivered with all the finesse of a paperboy on a sugar rush. Slight exaggeration, of course, but I’d suggest this place for when you’re starving—not when you’re after an experience or trying to impress a date! All in all, I’d recommend and likely be back.

I ordered an iced Americano for coffee before leaving the train, but Rosa kindly explained to me that iced drinks were not available. She was really apologetic and kind. Even when taking other orders, she kept asking me if there were any other inconveniences, which was great. Thanks to Rosa's kindness. I felt great. The best employee.

We chose this pub for a lunch after a baptism because it was down the road from the church and reviews looked great. The pub is stunning and had a great atmosphere but I disagree with people saying it’s family friendly. There is no children’s menu but instead children order the smaller (around £14) version of something. The staff were great and booking was easy but just a warning to anyone thinking of taking kids in..I wouldn’t.

The food arrived and it was wrong, we ordered lemon and herb and it came with medium sauce so the server changed it and when it came the 2nd time the sauce was wrong again but the server tried telling me it was right. The mash was not mixed together properly and fell apart and the food was not very warm either. Never had a bad Nando’s before I went here, shocking I would not go here again

It's ages since I've been there, so was surprised that nothing has changed much. The stand layout is a little bit confusing, but we managed to navigate our way around. Love that the free bus comes and goes from the bus station as that was a massive help. Great little cafe onsite. Still annoys me that we have to pay to use the loos. (Think there's only Ashton that has lifted the fee and we can now pee for free). However, once you've paid the 20p, the loos were in fair condition for a bus station, so happy enough about that.

We visited this cosy Vietnamese restaurant in Manchester last weekend and sampled their signature dishes plus fab drinks. We tried the following: 》Premium Pho with Beef, Chicken, Viet pork sausage & boiled egg 》BBQ Pork with rice and fresh veggies 》Summer Rolls with Prawn and Pork 》Spice me up Sling | Apple juice, Mint, Coriander, Lemonade, Chilli 》Lychee Virgin Hollis | Guava, Watermelon, Lychee, Lime The various meat (Beef, Chicken, Vietnamese pork sausage) and veggies on the Premium Pho really hit the spot plus the noodles weren't soggy at all. The charred Bbq pork was perfectly seasoned, complimented by the veggies on the side and the dipping sauce which cuts thru the oiliness of the dish. The freshness of the summer rolls with prawn and pork was quite lovely too. We had first dibs on 2 of their carefully concocted mocktails and they were mega - Please put them on the menu asap! We absolutely enjoyed these eye candies which had fresh, balanced flavours and so unique. They just relaunched March of this year and offers a vibrant mix of classic & innovative creations, do check them out.

On my second visit to Nam, I once again had an exceptionally pleasant experience. The beef pho is a heartwarming, especially on chilly days, and is a must-try for everyone. The consistency in the quality of other dishes is also great. During my first visit, I enjoyed the crispy fried calamari (though I missed taking a photo). The pork belly buns are equally amazing. However, Nam’s chicken wings are my personal favorite. Frankly, I’m not sure as to why this place isn’t more popular, especially when compared to another Vietnamese restaurant in Ancoats. In my opinion, Nam offers far better food and service.
