Nando's Manchester - Printworks in Manchester

I visited Nando's for the first time and had high expectations. The chicken lived up to the hype, 5 out of 5. However, the rest of the food was more average. Unfortunately, the experience was dragged down by the fact that the tables and chairs were very uncomfortable. You sat close and felt stuffed. My two friends got their food after 12 minutes but after 25 minutes I still hadn't received mine. When I asked the staff, it turned out that my order was not registered at all.. or maybe it had just been forgotten. As an apology, I was given two extra garlic breads, which was a sweet gesture. All in all it was a mixed experience. The chicken was great, but the service and comfort let it down. Not necessarily a place I look forward to visiting again.

Nando's at Printworks Manchester serves tasty food with good service in a vibrant setting. Conveniently located inside the Printworks building, right in front of the cinema, it’s perfect for a meal before or after a film. They serve Halal chicken, which is a big plus for many diners. The peri-peri chicken was full of flavor, and the staff were friendly and efficient. A great spot for a casual, satisfying meal in the city.

Not a good Nando’s at all. Downstairs toilet which we were sat next to was carnage and people were all over the place at 5pm. Food took ages and was poorly served.

Avoid. Luke warm food. Better wings in Spoons for a third of the price. Shocking!

I went here with friends and had a lovely time! The service was amazing, particularly from Leah and Chloe who made sure everything was great throughout the evening.

An absolutely brilliant experience for me and my boyfriend, our server Leah went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful. Will definitely be returning, thanks again Leah <3

Came in on a very quiet Tuesday afternoon, restaurant was nearly empty, waited quite a while to be met at the door and when the host did eventually come over they were quite monotone and unbothered. Went up to order at till, there were staff at the counter on both sides but seemed to be avoiding to take the order. Eventually, the manager asked one to serve. When asked the table number I replied I’m not too sure it’s the first booth on the right side I think it’s.. and before I could finish with the number which I had spotted the cashier replied with “I just need the number not directions” quite bluntly. Any server would know the numbers off anyway so the directions could’ve helped. She proceeded to bluntly take the order. Food arrived quite sharply and it was delicious. Loaded chips were were best I’ve ever had. Excellent food overall. There was no check back and no farewell either even though there was two staff at the door when we walked out. Would recommend if all you care about is food

Great place to eat before seeing a concert at the AO Arena

The food was ok. The garlic bread is something you need to order. I enjoyed it. The service could be better since we waited long for our drinks and food.

I would absolutely love to know why a staff member thought it was acceptable to make comments that made my sister and niece come home in floods of tears 😡 They were in Nando’s celebrating my niece’s 6th birthday, it was supposed to be a happy time for them after a horrible past few months, so I can only imagine how upset they were to overhear a member of staff (she thinks it might’ve been a manager, and he had glasses and a beard) right next to them say that they hated kids coming in during half term, and wished all the kids were dead. That is completely DISGUSTING, and you have no idea how much that affected my sister who has actually lost a child, that was the first time she’s been out after a long struggle with depression, now she’s anxious to go out again. My little niece is heartbroken and still keeps talking about it as she can’t wrap her head around why anyone would wish she wasn’t alive. Avoid here if you’ve got children folks, apparently they REALLY don’t want you there. My sister doesn’t want to take it any further, but I want it to go straight to head office, her confidence has been shattered all over again, that staff member should be ASHAMED.

Went for Nandos before Peter Kay, the food was fantastic, the host/manager was fantastic she was so lovely, a credit to any hospitality establishment. Only thing was we were sat next to the takeaway prep area.(just eat/Uber drivers were in and out picking up food) the kitchen door and a toilet I was facing, so not much atmosphere.

Staff were lovely, food came fast and was well cooked. Will definitely go there again.

40 min wait for my party of 3, but a party of 4 enters without any problems. Staff all depressing, no smiles, and lack of enjoyment. We noticed around 4 free tables to be told they couldn't seat us three. I think the staff can't be bothered to keep up with the demand, and choose the easier option - turn as many customers away as you can, to avoid working. Go to ANY other Nando's... this one disappoints.

Went in a few weeks ago on a Sunday. Told a half an hour wait and had our name written down. Came back after waiting and were seated after 5 minutes to an unclean table. We were told thighs were unavailable but weren’t too bothered. Attempted to order using the website but no phone signal or internet available. Went up to the desk and tried ordering a wrap to be told they had also ran out of them after wasting almost an hour at that point decided to walk out. No apology from the staff at all or even acknowledging the issue. Should have been made aware of such an issue before even coming back.

Was nice. There's a floor above which is accessible via stairs or elevator. Chicken is halal. It's Nandos. What more do you want to know?

Staff very friendly, food was not the best standard i had, garlic bread was rock hard, and the burger was just lacking flavour for some reason, i was surprised how fast the food came out, that could be what the issue is they rushed it out rather than taking time to make it nicely and fresh, i don't know haha, the drinks glasses need better cleaning too they had bits on them and smelled like fish was making me feel sick but didn't say nothing as i had a long day (bus broke down, late buses, very long day) and couldnt be bothered, so those are the things that need improving, usually theres queues at most nandos so i was surprised that there was no queue here or any waiting time, i guess i found out why haha, just need to sort them small things out, also put a free wifi out for customers, i had no signal inside at all, no wifi either, just cut off from the entire world when inside haha, which is good in some ways, but bad if you got people that need to be able to contact you in emergencies. I hope to come back in few months hopefully everything will be sorted, keep up the good work and fix the minor issues i stated. Thanks for having me

Came in late tonight and expected to be turned away. Instead was welcomed and served promptly by excellent staff. Had nandos before but the food at this location was superior. Girl running the shift was brilliant and made sure we were well looked after.

No one greeted me as I came through the door. I waited for around 5 minutes and no member of staff approached me so I left. I had a lovely meal with good customer service at the Arndale Nando’s instead.

Chloe and the rest of the staff’s service was one of the best services I have received in Nandos. The food was cooked perfect. We had a table of ten and expected a long wait for our food however I was pleasantly surprised with how quick it arrived. They kept checking everything was ok which it was. Will defo be using this Nandos every time I visit Nandos Manchester. Thank you all.

Turned up as a table of 3 last second on Saturday evening and Sadie was incredibly welcoming and accomodating!! What a hero! 👏🏼

Fantastic experience at this restaurant! The dishes I tried were packed with flavor and had just the right amount of spice, which made every bite exciting. If you enjoy spicy food, this is definitely the place to go. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was friendly. highly recommend it

The food arrived and it was wrong, we ordered lemon and herb and it came with medium sauce so the server changed it and when it came the 2nd time the sauce was wrong again but the server tried telling me it was right. The mash was not mixed together properly and fell apart and the food was not very warm either. Never had a bad Nando’s before I went here, shocking I would not go here again

"Upon arrival, we were greeted and immediately informed that the bathrooms were out of order. The staff member mentioned alternative restroom facilities, but their specific location was unclear. We attempted to place our order using the QR code at our table, but the in-house Wi-Fi was not functioning. As cell phone reception is weak in the Print Works, reliable Wi-Fi is essential for ordering. We ordered fountain cokes, but they tasted unpleasant. Despite trying several different flavors, the taste remained consistently bad. We notified the staff, who attempted to resolve the issue by changing the gas. Unfortunately, this did not improve the taste, and by the time we were informed of the attempted fix, we had already finished our meals. While the meals were passable, they were nothing extraordinary."

Worst Nando's we ever been!! Lots of free tables when we arrived, but we had to wait 20 minutes - why??? They didn’t bring our wine, the food when we got it was cold as if it was busy!! Staff was talking to each other and didn’t care. It need a good management.

Thank you so much to Nando’s print works for sorting a big order for us for a work event - everything went super smoothly, was very prompt and tasted delicious! They even let us borrow crates to carry it with upon collection.

Order via QR code - difficult if you're not particularly IT savvy and the WiFi in the restaurant not working! We were able to order at the counter though, so that was fine. Food came quickly and was good. Main issue is the cleanliness of this Nandos - dirty cutlery, sticky table, and toilet was disgusting. These points would put me off returning.

Since I crossed the pond from Australia EVERYONE has been telling me Nando's is peak ... I can confirm, it's the same food as Australia and it's just gourmet fast food. Printworks specifically has a waitlist for most evenings with people going for a pre-movie feed. Neutral feelings about the food, but it's not anything special like the UK residents make it out to be

First time at Nandos and say the experience was good. The staff at the establishment were very good, and even though it was difficult for me to understand the person who served us at first due to my level of English [:)], he always responded with a smile and kindly. The food we ordered was very good, a burrito, chicken fingers and a sandwich with accompaniments. Usual price in the city.

Was closed and had no notice for closure

Went in the day before and they accidentally got part of my order wrong. Mentioned it when I went back in the next day and they went above and beyond to make things right. So thank you to the team and the on-shift manager Ben in particular. Honestly brilliant customer service!

The food was nice, but the waiting time was absolutely way too long, I’m not sure if it’s understaffed or some other reason, but surely there’s some management issue of the restaurant. Would not recommend if you’re not a super super patient person 😅

Ordered food on deliveroo and they didn’t deliver half of it. Refused to re deliver and made us order a new meal with added service and delivery. Rude staff and just a ridiculous experience, save your money and go somewhere else.

One of the waitress was very rude, we came in and no one was there near the door and there was many empty tables , so we had a seat, then he came to us and said “you should wait near the door, next time wait there” This is very rude and unprofessional.

Best Nando's in Manchester, it's been there for years and staff are friendly and helpful.

My food came mostly cold and some just lukewarm, we told 2 staff members about it and they said one sec and then just never came back , then one woman came over who was rude about it and had a serious attitude when we said it was cold. Won’t go again, food was bad

Dark, dated and grubby everywhere. Smelly toilets. In need of an update. Sticky bottles. Needs refurbishing and a thorough clean everywhere. Won't be going there again.

One of my favourite spots. Nandos, often unfairly maligned, continues to produce high quality food for a great price. This handy location across from the Vue makes it the perfect pairing for a cinema trip.

was really disappointed with food and service, I ordered the loaded chips and nandino burger Aslo three starters. first the loaded chips were not made to its usually standard instead of the normal chicken used it was a fillet which was also poorly cut. then with the burger it was really cold and dry, I told this to one of the member of staff who when told about the issue seemed confused and was bit rude about the situation. I then had to wait while for my remake baring in mind the restaurant was practically empty so I doubt there were a lot of orders. overall bad experience

I brought my 2 younger cousins out for a meal here and we all agreed it was the best Nandos we’d ever had! The food quality somehow seemed even better than other branches, the staff were kind and friendly, and our food arrived so quickly. Thank you :)

Really really disappointed with my experience. Ordered a takeaway and got home only to find that 2 side portions of chips were missing. I blame myself for not checking as I usually do when I’m in the restaurant but it’s simply the principle, I should expect all the food I’ve paid for to be there. I called the restaurant as they had closed so I couldn’t go back, spoke to a supervisor/manager and they assured me someone will be in touch with perhaps some vouchers and took my email address. Up to now,(2 weeks later) still haven’t heard a thing. Safe to say I won’t be returning.

The staff were amazing and really helped us with a table. The food though was such a tiny portion it was like nothing i have seen before from a Nandos. This also seems to be the coldest nandos in the world, made for a really unpleasant experience even with keeping our coats on. It was a very…. Okay experience overall with the staff being the best part. I probably would not go back to this location especially with there being so many nados close by.

Shocking costumer service, ordered some chicken liver with sides , and a drink . Then was told that there is not any , so I have asked for refund, after 5 minutes member of staff asked me if I like to have some sides on its own ????? Then they refund only food prices and try to charge me for a drink I couldn’t have because ther was no food???

Food was ok but service wasn't acceptable. Waited 40 minutes for our food whilst other customers arrived and left before we even got our food. We asked where our food was and no one could find our order. It wasn't particularly busy so no excuse for poor service. Wouldn't recommend this Nandos if you've got anywhere to be as you'll end up being late.

Not great, been a number of years since I have been to this nandos and nothing has changed except more dust! Food is what you would expect though the chicken thighs do seem very small. Don't think I'll be back any time soon.

As with many of these kinds of restaurants sadly the focus of intention seems to be on deliveroo, the queue was 5-6 deep to order with only one on the till. Staff were reasonably friendly and the food when it arrived was ok, the chicken thighs were nice but the butterflied chicken was as dry as saw dust and could only be swallowed with a good glug of lager, the broccoli was cold but the macho peas were great but I’d be seriously worried if a portion of peas couldn’t be prepared and served as stated.

Ordered 2 meals, where two of the sides were not received, and the starter which we ordered was not correct instead it was replaced with something completely different which we did not order!! Absolute joke taking advantage of those placing delivery orders do not order from this restaurant through delivery!! A £41 order for one of us to be sat there with nothing but a piece of chicken.

Delicious! Much better than the arndale branch, love the garlic bbq sauce, hope it stays longer than just a limited edition!

Fantastic service from Caytleen. She explained the menu and helped with choosing our deserts. It was very good and would come back if I didn’t live in Cardiff.

Food at a correct price. You get a lot for a small price in comparison to what you get. Delicious chicken in the burger. Good service, very friendly and helpful when needed!

Food took ages to come and when it did arrive it was cold. We had to send one of the meals back as it was asked for without mayo. When it was brought back there was no mayo but also no halloumi (which we had obviously already paid for). Staff member behind the till was great and had put our order through correctly. Unfortunalty when asking for it to get changed, and when it was brought back, I felt the staff were annoyed at us for asking them to bring us the food that we had ordered.

Been multiple times now. Definitely one of the best nandos around. New chefs are excellent on grill and the new xx hot sauce is tasty and feels cleansing.

They were just about closing and made me wings fresh and they were amazing. I've eaten wings all over the world and these were fantastic. Great selection of beer as well.

Lovely lunch/catchup with mum. Struggled to use the q code to order at table as couldnt get a signal. Was helped by a server who took my order via the counter, very helpful guy, didnt get his name but had long hair and cap. Food arrived almost instantly and was delicious.

Also I had to wait so long for my order, they staff was friendly enough to inform me about the delay tho, but it was my first visit and I visited with so much excitement. It's not a bad place at all.
