Nice and quiet place for a quick snack and coffee! Flat white 8/10 Toastie 7/10

Food was decent but the latte I ordered was far too milky couldn’t taste the coffee

Great atmosphere good to relax, everything is nice except they tend to charge more than what it really cost if you're not keen. First in the morning bought Grande Cappuccino they charged me £4.6 for it but it should be only £4.3, not really aware, its a bit early and my mind is in other things so I just saw it with my card's app after awhile. Then the same day about midday ordered Regular Cappuccino he put £4.35, so I was shocked and I didn't pay for it while he's doing my coffee and ask him afterwards of how much is my coffee really then charge me the correct one which is £3.95 I know it's not a big money only pence and I don't know if that's really part of their service, but I think integrity and not being complacent should be shown to this small things.

Cinnamon Roll is tasty, coffee was good. Service was good. Sitting area is spacious and nicely designed. Classic music in the background makes it a very relaxing stay. Definitely recommend as a stop between flights.

We had breakfast here, the cinnamon bun was really delicious, the coffee and latte were excellent, the price is obviously proportionate to the convenience of the place.

A nice spot to unwind and catch up after a flight, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by shocking service today. I visited this branch at 8:00 AM for an espresso. The first image is of the drink I received — I was utterly shocked that the so-called ‘barista’ had the audacity to serve this to me. The second is what I got after I complained. I could go on about the unsatisfactory customer service and the snarky attitude, but my main concern is a decent espresso, which this Nero branch failed to deliver miserably.

We visit Caffè Nero every time we fly or return, the service is excellent considering its always busy. The coffee is second to none with a smily face.

In case you are a bit tired and confused like me, it is on the 1st floor (up the escalator/lift). It is lovely and warm, comfortable, nice drinks and staff.

Vegetarian panini, vegan cheesecake and iced tiramisu latte were great, but staff forgot about the panini after i had paid, leaving me waiting with a half full tray while nore and more customers behind me got served. But worst are the hundreds of fruit flies infesting the bar. In November. This place is not kept clean and no blue light insect trap to be seen.

Great coffee shop with a cool vibe. Close to the hotels and buses.

Not much competition in this area. Nice layout unfortunately it's grubby and dirty behind the counter but when there's nothing else, I suggest you find somewhere else before you get to the interchange.

This is a bit of hidden gem: above the station, but not quite in the same space as the lifts, so have a little wander around to find it. Much nicer space than other cafes pre-checkin, and certainly much better than waiting on the station platform. Coffee is good, seem to play interesting music, the books on the shelves can be read while you wait; doesn't really feel like you're in an airport at all. Prices are what you'd expect for an airport, and I always find Nero coffee to be on the strong side, but nothing is perfect I guess.

Such a nice spot to relax when at the airport. Much nicer than in the terminals!

I have lived in the UK for 8 years and the first time I experienced rude service was at the Nero cafe in Manchester airport above the train station. The service is just as nasty as in Eastern Europe. I won't go there anymore.

Hot drinks barely lukewarm and spilled into saucers. They did however exchange the drinks for hot ones after complaint

Very quick service. Staff always friendly. Always stop in here before a flight. Definitely recommend.

Lovely coffee stop before your flight or when waiting for your train or coach as it’s very close to the stations. Cappuccino was great as is the new millionaires cake. Love the rustic look and there are books too. There is a large window with stool to look outside and booths too. Friendly staff.

Wonderful Coffee ☕ and Bacon Roll really like the atmosphere here just waiting to continue our Journey ☕✈️.

Handy when we went from the airport to the railway as we had some time to kill, handy that it has charge points around the seating area, plenty of seats and surprisingly quiet for such a busy setting.

What a dirty cafe, needs a good dust and a DEEP clean. Above where the food is being served is bad, all around the till and where the packet food is being displayed is grimey

Very slow, one trainee member of staff left to serve a long queue. Ran out of time and ended up leaving before being served.

Drinks and food are nice. Straws are to small for iced drinks and just block up.

Nice enough cafe selling the usual choice of coffees, teas, etc with cakes, etc. Nice interior decoration. But in a bit of a strange hole near Manchester Airport railway station overlooking a road. But at least there was a cafe there - it was the only one.

2 woman working were very useless and not helpful at all. All I asked is if there was a certain ingredient in one of the products which I couldn’t have and all she replied with is check the label. And then gave me and my partner a lot of attitude after for nothing. Useless workers doing the bare minimum.

The service is unfriendly and not helpful. I walk with a cane and none of the ladies offered to bring me a tray of coffee and cake to the table, even though it was a hassle for me and was both hard and dangerous for others because I might have dropped the tray and spilled hot coffee on someone. (I carry it with one hand) The music is terrible, although jazz is quite nice but not continuously for 2 hours in the morning. Not everyone likes him.

Amazing service, fast, nice, reliable, delicious

Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly service. Cuban music is playing softly and you can really relax at an otherwise highly stressful airport. You can also charge your devices here. I stayed here for several hours after having bought a single cup of tea. Thanks.

Male staff member was good and friendly but female staff member very rude and refused to give me coffee in pot because she doesn’t want to wash the pot after , even closing time 7pm as she said which was after 3 hours and it’s not busy as well , very disappointed with service

Horrible manager. When we arrived at the tilt we was served by a lovely trainee who was left by herself bless her, half way through the order her manager comes out and asks us if we've been served, we was in middle of saying we haven't finished our order, she interrupted us and said if she's making your order you've been served, expecting us to pay when we haven't finished ordering. She was very rude, she makes you rush your order, talks over you, very unfriendly and loud. In businesses like these I'd rather employes take their time and get the order right rather than making you rush through it.

Nice empty nero with classical music playing- good place to wait whilst rail havoc ensues down below. However unfortunately barista lady was quite unfriendly and miserable- cappuccino was very poor…. Not the quality I expect from nero

This Nero coffee house despite being at the airport has a very cosy, warm and friendly atmosphere. Service is fast and employees very pleasant.

Observed the barista leveling the coffee grounds with her hand. The place wasn't busy so I decided to pop in for a coffee. I was surprised to see the lack of hygiene standards. I would have thought that Cafe Nero employees would work to best practices. Disappointed on this visit.

Christian and another male member of staff were busy working on a day book behind the counter leaving only one person to serve. They were shocked when they finally turned around and there was a queue to the door. Christian and Co, focus on your customers. Paperwork should come when customers like myself are not waiting!

Nice place. But filthy that I didn't want to stay - it is an airport but may as well have been nero off the landfill. Staff super nice though and clearly not enough staff.

If you're American, you're going to be disappointed. It's coffee, but it's very bitter and they don't even have cream, milk only.

I never normally go to coffee shops but i went here as I had a long wait for my train. Had a hot sandwich and a hot chocolate. Both where lovely. Staff where extremely friendly and welcoming.

Serviced quickly and professionally by a very helpful female member of staff.

Staff is really slow. 3 times been, waited 20 mins with only 3 customers in front of me.

Standard Nero, upper floor at Manchester Airport Railway Station.

I stopped for a latte and muffin (turns out to be a raisin bread that shapes like a muffin) and waited for my train. It is essentially the only Cafe in the train station. Not bad for a 2-hr rest. There is good WFI signal and so I got some work done.
