I arrived shortly before closing, as I looked like I was wasting away from hunger the staff kindly cooked me a sausage and egg barm. I will definitely come back for the tasty sausage, perfectly cooked egg and Yorkshire tea, what more can a hungry traveller ask for.

Do Not waste your money The place is a shambles, arrived Sunday afternoon no staff anywhere, eventually a lady came no hello or how are you just a you checking in! Asked if there was a menu for 3 people to dine, Nope not serving food she said, I can most probably do something but if rather not. Bedrooms and corridors smell old and musty , breakfast is something to be seen for yourselves. Someone sits by the bar whilst you help yourself to a cold unwelcoming breakfast set up. The croissants were the same for both days, everything is individually wrapped so obviously all bought in, bread is not fresh, meats and continental cheese slices are what you buy from a supermarket. Awful

Food it very low quality for the price you pay. The coffee I had was pretty watery, I do like my coffee so it is very important for me to experience good quality coffee.

Very spacious cafe, good coffee and even better toasties with very friendly staff. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

We have visited in the past and always been reasonably happy. Today was not a good experience. The bread was stodgy for both the egg mayonnaise baguette and the rarebit.The egg was congealing and the ‘seasonal salad’ was just a mishmash of little bits! So rather expensive at £27.85 for the above plus two traybakes and a small pot of tea. Sadly highly unlikely to return.

The food was okay and the staff attentive but the ambience of the bistro was so stale, lacked ambience and was just really quite strange. It felt like being in an empty conference room. Not for us and we won't be returning

Visited as a party of 21 and we had pre ordered due to the size of the party, the food arrived shortly after we sat down and it was brilliant. Plenty of food and reasonably priced, no a scrap left by any of us so we will definitely be back.

The Greggy is an impressive local facility which is full of left leaning locals. As a paid up member of Corbyn’s fan club I love it I’m here. Debate is robust, yet polite, but any mention of Thatcher gets met with stern looks, tuts and raised voices until you point out that it’s the cider you want, not Maggie. Will be back.

Food is reasonably priced and varied menu. Service quick. Plenty of places to sit. A quiet haven during Roses weekend.

Just ordered 2 X kebabs for m here on just eat. I have taken the time to find them on maps to leave a review, that should speak for itself. Have put a screen shot of my order to show I'm not a family member 😜 100% best kebab had in 10 year 😋🤤I will be ordering again to explore rest or the menue.

On our way down from Scotland to Stockport, fancied fish and chips rather than services. I googled Quays and was glad I did. They offered 3 different sizes for fish and for chips separately. We ordered a small fish and chips which came with a choice of mushy peas, gravy or curry. Nathan, the owner was very friendly and asked whether we'd like to try his own tartare sauce, I'm glad we did, it was delicious, as was the freshly cooked fish and chips. Would definitely recommend.
