The best restaurants serving Default food in Chester Villages Cheshire West and Chester North West

With restaurant food seeming so expensive and yet the quality falling in many places, this fantastic place stands shoulders above the rest. It’s great value for money Super menu variety Lovely food that doesn’t disappoint But on top of that….service is brilliant, warm friendly and prompt. There are a variety of places to sit inside and out depending on what mood you are in. Love it here.

Uncomfortable bed, poor pillows that were extremely lumpy, breakfast wasn’t very nice (sausages were tasteless and the bacon was fatty) and the staff weren’t very attentive. Location was good. Not what I expected based on other reviews. We’ll not be going back.

The food was outstandingly delicious with an extensive, varied menu to choose from. All very reasonably priced. Definitely the best Thai food we've had in a long time and we shall return soon.

Terrible service here, room had paint and plaster coming of the ceiling, tv did not work and just to top it of no chicken left when went down for dinner and I was not even informed. Complained to staff about my issues and they did not care. Will definitely not be recommending this place.

Excellent service and brilliant food

Used to love coming here and have been for years, but I have noticed a decline in quality and in service. Today really was the final straw. After trying to correct an order which was brought to us wrong I was made to carry around our plates of food to and from the kitchen whilst the staff watched as they couldn’t be bothered to do it themselves. The lady who I kindly asked to help correct the order was nothing but cold and rude. The food itself has come to the same quality as Wetherspoon's but for 3x the price. Most of the food looked as if it’d been sat out in a buffet and definately wasn’t fresh. As I say I’m really dissapointed due to how fab it used to be but will not be returning due to how I was treated today.

Couldn’t comment on the food as not being served tonight (Tuesday) but in every other way a great place to stay with friendly staff, a polite landlord and quiz night to enjoy. Would recommend as a motorhome stopover👍👍

great choice of food You dont expect Cordon Bleu but frankly it was really tasty. Staff are really friendly and helpful especially Steve who was the Carver and Leah who was our very attentive and friendly waitress. We really enjoyed our visit especially when it came to the bill far less than expected. Especially as we were so full that we couldnt manage dessert. Although Leah suggested having them as a take out. Naughty....

Well done all the team.We had a wonderful Christmas dinner here today and will book again for next year. Lovely food,atmosphere and staff.
