Dropped in rather than phone ordering, as this was the most convenient. Not been to Hings before. Ordered for 3 people. Food was cooked quickly. We couldn't fault the dishes, so will be returning again.

Monks Lane never disappoints the atmosphere, and the staff and the food was absolutely gorgeous 😍.

waited about 40 minutes for the food to arrive despite there only being a few other groups of people there, makes you wonder how they do during busier times. nonetheless the food was absolutely amazing! nice inside & clean. :-) staff were also kind and not pushy whatsoever which feels like a rarity nowadays.

Went for lunch on Friday , great mixture of tourists, locals , workers clocking off for the weekend. Great all fashion service with pa smile, didn't even need to go to the bar to order either drinks of food. My wife had a lovely home made quiche and I had my first ever Goat Curry ! I took me 73 years to try one , delicious. Thanks again.

Absolutely taken aback at the fantastic service and attention we received from Sian and her crew. My daughter was badly let down by Bench (despite a deposit paid), and with a week to go to her hen party she was in tears as there was now no venue for it. A desperate phone call to Number Nine Mill Street(formerly The Townhouse) and they couldn’t do enough to help. They even rearranged a pre-booked group of their own to fit the party in for her and couldn’t have been more kind and helpful to her in choosing a brand new menu for her guests. All this with just one week’s notice. Once the night arrived, my daughter and her guests were waited on hand and foot the entire evening - (Stefan was an absolute star, and a credit to the company). Special consideration was given to a guest with specialised dietary requirements, with the chef being involved every step of the way. Without question the entire evening was absolutely wonderful (better than the original booked venue would have been by a long way). Cannot recommend the venue, staff, food, drinks, ambience and quality of service enough. Many thanks to you all.

Great Atmosphere in a friendly pub. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Celebrated our daughter's birthday. Would definitely go again.

Great for coffee & cake - generous size coffee and hot (not tepid!). A select few cakes to choose from and a smallish selection of snacks/meals. Friendly staff and quick service.

Ordered prawn crackers and 2 chicken curry and 2 plain rice. Ready on time and got told prawn crackers came free. Got home and curry was a big portion and lovely sauce with freshly cooked chicken. It had a few mushrooms in which was not expected but fine for me.

As a mother of 2 small children it’s really hard to find an available place to sit and have a coffee and allow my children a safe environment to play. Regents Perk café was a very nice place that had everything I needed. It has coffee and food, the food is limited to small toastie type lunches but I enjoyed the food. It has a soft play area where my children were able to safely have fun. If I had one thing to say it’s that the tables still had food and plates on, I did notice that it says on the tables for customers to place there trays on to the trolleys provided when they’re done so that isn’t the cafes fault. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Regents Perk.

How can I not 5 star a bar with erdinger on tap!

It's a coffee shop, selling vastly inflated coffee. Just like all their competitors. And it's owned by Coco-Cola.

Bowled over by the Bowling Green. In my view good pub grub. Will keep on my future list.

It was my first time to visit this place and i liked,the service was good and the people were friendly

The worst sausage roll ever. Something bright pink inside that bore no resemblance to sausage. It made me feel sick for most of the day. Overpriced and truly vile.
